I wouldnt necessarily buy Torrid from them as Torrid is a pretty easily accessible store where I live and Torrids clothing quality really runs the gamut. But Plus Bus variety of designers and style at various price points as well as value (for some high end items) cannot be beat. I would never find this variety in a regular store in New Orleans and they only stock Now or vintage stuff where here you have to pick through a hundred duds to find a gem. I wish I lived in CA, but I do everything I can to hit the live sales on line. I love that they have different sized models trying on the clothes in various sizes and they do their best to say size of clothing and their own size and how it fits. This is invaluable when shopping online. My body is a shorter version of one of the models so I always have a feeling when its a winner. They also host events and are so body positive... They are women I would love to hang out with.

I was so excited to find a plus size thrift store! However, it is definitely not thrift store prices. 🙄 some of these items cost MORE than if I had bought them new. I found them on the companies website to compare prices, and they were cheaper to order new from the company than at this so called “thrift/consignment” store. My excitement quickly went away after that. Someone please open an ACTUAL thrift store of us curvy gals!

What an amazing and welcoming shop! Its so nice to have a curated, sustainable option to fit my curves. My favorite find since living in LA. Finally some unique, trendy options for people of all sizes.

I had the most wonderful experience shopping here! The employees were super helpful and nice and the variety of clothes was amazing. I was able to find a graduation dress that flattered me and was a great price. Overall cant wait to come back and check out what new stuff rotates in. If you are plus size and you live within driving distance the plus bus is a must!!

The staff was amazing!! They were helpful, patient and encouraging. They had so many cute outfits and it never felt crowded. Clearly a spot several big girls can shop at once and not feel overcrowded. 11/10. It is a little pricey for secondhand but WORTH THE CONVENIENCE!!

I’ve been here a couple of times and an always impressed with their beautiful and reasonably priced selection. They even have a rack of brand name clothing.Today I went in shopping for my moms wedding outfit, and Alex showed me around the store and made great suggestions. She also told me about their outlet store, Instagram, and live online shopping fashion shows.Thank you!

These words are still true! I never felt confident shopping for clothes or about myself until I shopped at The Plus Bus years ago. I was blessed to have met Marcy on my 1st time shopping, the best thing she did for me was to boss me around & helped me try new things!One year ago: The Plus Bus isn’t just another consignment or vintage shop, it’s so much more…When we arrive…we are seen, accepted, loved and appreciated. When we arrive…it’s as if there’s no room for our insecurities because there is so much fat, femme, female, they/them empowerment!!

I could not love this place more! Its so refreshing to be not just accommodated, but be completely celebrated in a clothing store. To be in a clothing store where youre not relegated to that rack in the back by maternity (you know the one!) with options for lots of different tastes and styles. Add to that the amazing community events they host and this is one of the best businesses in LA hands down!

Such a warm, welcoming space! I love love love shopping at Plus Bus. Their stylists are all really cool folks and have never been anything but excellent to me. Their prices are fair, and so are their exchange prices for items you bring in. Bonus love for access to influencer closets and indie fat fashion designers!

I dont even live anywhere near the Plus Bus but I check out their FB live sales. Their live experience is authentic, fresh, and the fashions are very cool and great quality. My order was shipped promptly. They are a breath of fresh air during my quarantine.

This place is magic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging. Unlike most shopping experiences, you leave feeling sparkly and empowered. Jen is just the best.
