Don’t let its hipness deter you like it did for me, until someone finally insisted I check out their back patio… not only is it the best coffee in the neighborhood but they also have great seating and the baristas are all lovely.

What an unexpected delight! I’m not a big coffee drinker, let alone a connoisseur but I feel like I stumbled upon something excellent for newbies & coffee lovers alike. I needed caffeine & drove past this place and saw their big electric “cold coffee” menu. I wanted a chai latte or something milky, but ended up trying the Belafonte. It was delicious and intriguing and only $8. The photo doesn’t do justice.The interior design is great too. Great for catching up with good friends. It is a little warm in the summer but good airflow.

I’ve been to the Chicago location and a coffee tasted much better. However everything is nice about this location but coffee didn’t taste as good as what it normally would’ve. I feel like the coffee should’ve been dialed in a little bit better to enjoy the best experience. Obadiah is one of my favorite roasters and it was quite disappointing when I didn’t get to taste any of the notes that the roaster suggest. Obadiah is one of the most flavorful coffee I’ve ever experience so there’s a really big let down when I got my coffee and it was very mellow.

My wife and I were suggested this coffee shop, and it was great! Alex, our waiter, was fantastic with his recommendations and made us feel at ease. We shared a Panini sandwich and finished with a delectable handmade dessert. This is a must-see for either breakfast or coffee. On our future trip, we will certainly return!

Coffee is the gasoline of life. Dayglow is a small coffee shop on Sunset blvd and Descanso dr in Silver Lake neighborhood of LA. Interior design and atmosphere were modern, organized and inviting, respectively. They have a front outdoor seating. I arrived early Humpday morning to grab a coffee. A young tall male staff gave a perfunctory non-ardent greeting as I entered the shop. I perused their coffee/beverage and baked pastry list which was very limited by coffee shop standard. I end up ordering a hot Sweetened Coffee (International) with milk. It’s taste and flavor was a bit subpar to other coffees that I have had in my entire adult life. Furthermore, they only offer a regular size cup (8 oz) which was significantly SMALLER compared to other coffee shops. And overpriced at a whopping $6. But it’s okay given its taste. If there was a consolation, their staff was assiduous, amiable, competent and followed health protocol. Service was moderately fast. Street metered parking only. After careful deliberation, I was disappointed with their mediocre hot sweetened (international) coffee. Therefore, it is my deepest regret to NOT recommend this coffee shop.

What a lovely shop for coffee! I come here regularly to compose, and the staff are lovely, and the coffee is very good. Plus, with the seasons, they adjust what they sell, which is a pleasant touch and additional points for the WiFi plug sockets at each table. This coffee shop also looks like a nice place to work, so Im going to try it soon!

This place has really solid coffee, to start. The Decor and vibes have a strong opinion, and you have to respect that. It’s not 100% for me, but I like popping in here every so often to imagine what my life would be like if I painted most things a soft pink and had a very loud backsplash.All in all, if you’re in the neighborhood and you’re looking for a great cuppa coffee or Matcha head over to Dayglow. You won’t be disappointed and it might spark some imagination.

Hated everything about this place, their cups with no handles, their wobbly chairs and uneven tables, no parking, the floor is dirty.

I really wanted to love this place and the coffee was good, but the prices they charge for coffee is just crazy. $6 to $8 for a pour over, when u can get very, very good coffee in the same neighborhood for half the price. I didnt try any specialty drinks. Would maybe return to give one of these a try, but not recommended for a coffee.*UPDATED* added star because the low score was completely based on price and wasnt aware of the drip coffee. I will give dayglow another try.

Every time I check out a new coffee shop, I need to try their specialty drinks.I had the Warhol, and it was like nothing Ive ever tasted.If I remember right, it is espresso, orange, vanilla, lime and creme.When a coffee shop offers such a unique and fun drink, you have to just try it and give your taste buds the experience of a completely new flavor.I could tell this drink was made with high quality ingredients and the flavor was on point. It was such a fun drink.This is also one of those instagramable coffee shops, it has a gorgeous interior perfect for photos.

If you’re not coming here and getting coffee as often as possible then you’re probably sleeping...cos this place is absolutely hands down the best coffee i’ve had in LA. after coming in & asking for a recommendation, it has now become my go to drink everywhere. get the military latte (with oat milk!) next time you stop by! you won’t be disappointed; i literally day dream about this coffee. all. the. time.the amount of love & craft that goes into the drinks make it taste that much better!

Had both the espresso and filter, and can say they were of good quality. The vegan donuts were pretty low quality, could have been because they were the left overs at the end of the day.

Great baristas! Great coffee selection! Only downside is that the bathroom is closed to the public.I realize that this is probably due to the pandemic but if youre going to serve drinks you really need to offer a restroom to customers. There really shouldnt be any more risk than taking payments and normal customer interaction. And for those who dont have a car and have a long way to go home this can be a real inconvenience. Not cool.

I fell in love with this cute café and its staff the first time I popped in. A vast variety of pastries and beverages, vegetarian option available, very nice and welcoming atmosphere! I highly recommend this coffee shop!

Lovely little cafe. Pink walled silver lake look, though the seating is a little scant. Seems more designed for pick up and go, given the lack of any available designated parking. Their tonic drink (ice, espresso, tonic water, syrup) was damn good and its always nice to go to a place that has it on menu. Nice looking selection of pastries to boot.

I can easily with all confidence say that my experience at dayglow was absolutely top shelf I love the fact that they have a creative spin on coffee with different flavors taste and colors as well as they have easily some of the best donuts Ive ever tasted in my life Im not even a donut guy but if you go in there youve got to get the pistachio rose donut I tried indigo Moon which is a coffee that doesnt even look like a coffee it looks like an indigo iced tea its clear and super cool I would say even if youre not really in the area youve got to get down there and check them out Even though people that work there are super chill and nice Thats something I really do appreciate One thing I will tell you parking can be a little rough which is not their fault but it is going to be paid coin parking so definitely prepare for that

The baristas are so nice, but unfortunately they seem to get slammed daily as there is rarely more than on on staff even during heavy hours.

I went last for the first time last week and I find myself thinking about going back. I live in the area so I’m used to fairly expensive coffee, and this is no exception. You get what you pay for and what you pay for is delicious.

Cool little place. I went in because the interiors looked so cool. But I did also get a great coffee, WiFi and spot in the sunshine at the outside table. Barista was super friendly and chatty.

Multi roaster cafe with a wide selection of coffee. The whole front opens up to create a sense of an outdoor patio. They also offer vegan donuts to accompany your coffee. Will definitely return.

I am from Dallas, Texas and stumbled across this place when I was walking down Sunset Blvd. I had the best mocha latte here that I still think about to this day. Not only that, but the barista working there was genuinely kind and the space is really bright and cute!

Super friendly staff and an amazing selection of beans. I tried a little bit of everything and was not disappointed. Would recommend to anyone taking a stroll down Sunset Blvd.

Go here instead of Intelligentsia - it’s a better use of your dollar.Speaking as a barista myself, I went to Intelligentsia beforehand and was met with pretentiousness and OK coffee. Then, I walked down the road and came to Neon and was met with kindness and EXCELLENT coffee.

Location is at a quieter part of sunset. Sidewalk seating. Always have beans from roasters I’ve never heard of. Iced americano is best in LA (next to Dulce).
