Its a fine place. I didnt notice anything especially interesting but the staff were nice, I liked the chai and their baked goods were GOOD; I strongly recommend all their cookies.

I enjoyed the peace and quiet, as well as the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. In the near future, I would be more than happy to return here. The parking area was also well-organized, making it easy to come and go. I would absolutely recommend you to everyone! Thank you very much for your generosity, gentlemen!

Woodcat coffee makes the best hot chocolate.I had it with almond milk, not sweet at all, great taste. Very nice staff.

I love this place and the people. A normal sized match is $8 though. That’s a hard pill to swallow when all the cafes surrounding it charge $7 for the same size. I really hope the owner reads this and considers changing it. Paying $9 for matcha while tipping is insane…

I love this coffee shop! I can really tell this place takes care of its employees and costumers which I love. The coffee and food are both so delicious and tasteful. This is perfect for a date, study, and other business meetings. All of the staff are always ready to assist and knows exactly what they are doing. This is one of a kind experience. This place has gone down hill during pandemic in comparison to other coffee shops. Katty service and really clinical experience. For this they want to put in the tip for you. Ive said no thanks the past couple times regardless hoping the service would return. Ive started get my latte at the many other shops and suggest you do too.

This coffee shop has a special feeling which you cant see in regular coffee shops. The atmosphere is serene and peaceful. The music is good and the WiFi connection is fast. Great quality cupcakes, a bit on the expensive side but well worth it. It has a really great setting and location. Highly recommended!

Woodcat is, what I would call a utilitarian coffee house. Bare basics, concrete floor, steel sheet wrapped table tops, and woodish walls. Unfortunately on this day with a less than enthusiastic barista.I wasnt greeted when I walked in, stood there for a minute, then found a table in the back and returned with my cup. I presented my own cup as i usually do (a camouflaged basic plastic Starbucks cup) and was charged $4+ tax, for one cup of coffee. For which, especially after tasting the coffee, was less than thrilled.For the record, had i left my cup at home, and been presented with a new paper cup lid and sleeve, Woodcat coffee is $3 and $4 per cup, I requested a cup of medium roast, and was told that all of our coffee was medium roast. The coffee I had was an unusually chocolaty/sweet black coffee.Id probably give 3.5 stars, but rounding down here.

What a nice place for those who love hanging out with friends and family in the coffee shop! Last year, I came here to relax while sipping their hot chocolate drink. This place was SO GOOD. At first I was shocked by the high price but the food is worth it. The food came out really quickly and the portions were huge. The service was AMAZING. We were a party of 6 and were checked on multiple times. I got the Johns breakfast and it was a great meal that was lower calorie. It wasnt busy at all and we got here at 9:30am. The coffee was also really great! The indoor setting is really cute and eclectic.

The workers really know their coffee and they had so many recommendations its a very friendly environment. Its my 3rd time having Woodcat Coffee Bar and I wish we had one in San Francisco and I would say this is my new favorite go to coffee spots!

I wanna echo all the comments that go: this place is spacious and comfortable and feels designed for work; its pretty quiet inside and has a nice chillaxed (work) vibe; the staff treated me with cheerful friendliness throughout my afternoon there.Its excellent. Its a good place to work.

A relaxing to grab a coffee or tea. Its got an outdoor/indoor seating area. Great place to bring your dog with you to sit on your computer and take in the fresh air. Its a very SoCal place to go. Hippy scene, organic, laid back. So if youre in town and want the full experience check this place out!

The space is small and cozy. I had a latte and it was perfect. The coffee itself was flavourful and at the right temperature. They sell it in-store. It looks like a nice place to take your laptop and work. The basis were friendly and helpful. I liked the wall art and the plants on the walls.

It was a bit crowded when I got there, so I had to wait a while to grab a table. But other than that, the workers there are so nice and the latte that I ordered was one of the best Ive ever tried. Also, the condensed milk toast was soo good. Next time I visit CA, ill definitely come back.

Coffee is weak. $3.50 for a cup of hot water. Just make coffee at home, it’s way better. (And better for the environment too!) :)

A rainy afternoon in LA, cool and wet. Most people will buy coffee beans or take away, since it was raining, so we preferred to sit in. A very small cafe sharing tables. Staff were friendly. We tried the normal simple coffee.

Great coffee and a really cool space. Liked the minimalist menu too. Sure there are lots of kinds of drinks, but no sizes. They make it how they think it should be. Soy/almond milk options.There were some killer looking pastries, but I wasnt eating so I cant offer thoughts.

Cool place. It can be cozy if you like the style and atmosphere...its not really my style. Pretty much all seats are bench style so not as comfy, but you can see hipster people with their laptops in there every day. Coffee is good. I like the place but I probably wouldnt come here often because its expensive and a bit squished.

Woodcat is owned by a lovely married couple who really know how to make you feel at home. They are methodical and passionate about every drink they make and it shows in the taste. Pastries are great too. One of my favorite local hangs and has become like a second home!

Awesome coffee! I lived in Austin and Flat Track Coffee was one of the best coffee places in town, and Austin has by far the best coffee scene of any place Ive ever lived. So I was stoked to see they serve it here. Plus the art by Jack Sjogren is so good!!!

Great neighborhood quaint little coffee bar. Met my Okcupid date here. Great friendly service, very fresh and tasty coffee. Nice seating options to sit around and have a 2 hour conversation. I heard the desserts are very good maybe next time I will try one.Plenty of ample street parking and in the heart of Echo Park. Has a very artist hipster feel.

The place was clean and ambiance was green and fresh. Food and coffee was great!

Woodcat Coffee Bar has good coffee, tea, and hot chocolate and is the hangout place of a number of groups including the hipsters, gay, transgender, and poly crowds. Youll often find people hanging out there and playing board games or chatting, and its a site thats often used for a number of meetup groups

This is really an in store cafe and there are no real surprises here except a lovely light airy feel to the space helped by having the tables set well apart. It is clean and the staff make sure the tables are cleared regularly.

Woodcat has a familiar-yet-distinct feel to it that I havent encountered anywhere else. The offerings are no frills, meaning they can focus all their skill on making an excellent drink.

My first impression was I was interrupting the baristas conversation with a friend/regular customer, definitely didnt receive the same friendly interaction that I observed given to the person in front of me. Slightly pretentious atmosphere when you look at the price vs quality of espresso and breakfast tacos. Unique decor inside and free WiFi.

Of all the coffee shops in Echo Park, which there are many, Woodcat is my favorite. I usually get an iced latte. Strong and flavorful. The pastries are tasty, but on the expensive side IMO.

Espresso is fruity but well balanced and just all around delicious! Cozy environment.

Great coffe! i got an iced coffee and tasted great, it was very smooth and not bitter at all. Everything was great but they do lose a star for uncomfortable seats and complete lack of a couch or love seat type thing.

Visited several shops on my trip to L.A., but Woodcat was by far the best. Cozy little shop, precision baristas rocking a Faema E61, and pulling sublime espresso. Not sure what beans they had, but stuck a nice blend of character and acidity. Highly recommended.

Very nice place for decor, mellow and good for working. Coffee is ok. I believe if you go for fancy roast etc. then you need to pay attention to detail like temperature.The cappuccino was lukewarm! Disgusting!

Excellent coffee

My wife and I have stopped by here a few times on weekend mornings and they make one of the best flat whites that I have ever had. They also have a bowl of water outside for dogs and a few carabiners to tie leashes to.
