A huge industrial room where some of the best coffees are made by their team of super-talented baristas. Theres a real community feel here, and combined with the bright airy atmosphere, youre probably going to settle in and have a second cup somewhere. And if youre not a coffee lover, youll definitely be addictive if you can try it, and then youll be a coffee lover. Must have a try!

Its a great coffee that I have tasted and its a good friends advice to try this spot. This is the best coffee weve ever had in this town, for me, and were glad weve met the owner who humbly accommodated us. He spent about 15 minutes offering us feedback and sharing his thoughts with us. Indeed, it was a wonderful experience! Many thanks to you!

It is a very local-based coffee shop with a rather large clientele of regulars. It is also the fastest moving coffee shop that I have been to. Meaning that you aren’t waiting more than 5 minutes ever for a cup of coffee, unlike most coffee shops that I have been to before. Great for stopping by at on the way to work!

Ok, the best coffee shop, and here I can bring my pet. I have visited this coffee shop many times and have always enjoyed coffee, and the choice of cakes always tempts us. The cat who still gets masses of fuss from other customers is refreshing to be able to take in and then sits comfortably under the table. For all coffee lovers, I highly recommend this place!

One of the things that i recently discovered about the growing older Me is that my world seemed to be shrinking. I live in Glendale and my neighborhood seems to limited to Los Feliz and East Hollywood to the south, La Canada and La Crescenta to the north and maybe Pasadena to the East and Santa Barbara to the north west. And this is actuated by what i have known in the past and by places with which i am familiar.I have been thinking of late about broadening my scope: i mean i can drive, i can read a map and i can access Mapquest and the thing on my phone that tells me how to get somewhere. So today i read about Little Ripper in Glassell Park: an older LA neighborhood which is very close to my pad in Glendale. All i had to do is turn right on Verdugo instead of left and VOILA!. Im there.Little Ripper is indeed a little ripper of a coffee venue owned by the beautiful and voluble Lorena and her quiet, head down working husband, Mr. Rex.Evaluating a coffee joint should always start with the drip: big, black and hot. They feature La Colombe roasted in Costa Mesa coffee and espresso beans here. And the actual coffee and espresso produced here is primo: deep flavor, slightly fruity, tasting of the earth with chocolate overtones.I also tried Oatmilk here for the first time which came with the capp that i ordered. There are 2 shots of espresso in their small Capp so it packed a whallop yet the Oatmilk smoothed the whole thing out. Good Stuff! They also sell grub here. II had a John Dory Toast (basically an open faced tuna sammy) which utilizes a terrific sour dough whole grain bread toasted well in order to bring out the innate flavors. Toasting bread, like roasting vegetables for example intensifies the sour dough and whole wheat goodness. This is a bread that i could eat by itself with a glob of butter and would have been happy. The Tuna itself was plain as it should be: a little mayo, salt and pepper and lots of jalapeno. (?), This is garnished with cilantro, sliced chilis. Pretty Delicious!I also bought and consumed later with a friend a Lannister which reminded me of that Coconut/Strawberry Ball i see in Pan Dulce stores though this item is rolled in chocolate and toasted coconut with a raspberry filling. This is a decadent dessert Eh! who cares? Enjoy its luxurious deliciousness. You can always walk an extra 10 miles tomorrow.Service is of a very high quality with Lorena at the forefront. This is her business along with her husband Rex and she is hell bent on making it a success. She is succeeding.Go into Little Ripper and avail yourself of its good stuffs and committed service. You will not be disappointed.

Their Jaffles (grilled cheese sandwich) are phenomenal. The perfect buttery crisp without being greasy. The housemade almondmilk is amazing too, well done! During COVID, note that you have to order online (you cant go inside to place in-person order), so consider placing your order ahead before heading over!

I found this cute little coffee shop a few years ago and really liked it. Then about a year ago I went there and found grounds in my coffee, I told them and they gladly remade it for me but again it had grounds. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt and went back a few more times but each time I found grounds in my coffee. After that I didn’t go back for a really long time, even though it’s one of the closest coffee shops to my house. There are far better shops that aren’t that far away like Kumquat and Collage. Last week I went back because I was in a hurry and thought SURELY by now, after months and months they would have fixed the problem with their machine. I ordered ahead and was told that my coffee and food would be ready in 15 mins. So I sat outside and waited, and waited and waited. Over 15 mins AFTER the time they told me. Which means it took them over 30 mins to make me 2 iced lattes and a sandwich. They were busy at that time. But never have I had to wait that long at a coffee shop before even at busier shops. They never apologized. AND to top it off you guessed it, the coffee had grounds in it. If it takes you close to a year to fix your coffee machine then you clearly don’t care about coffee and just care about charging $10 for avocado toast. It’s too bad. I really wanted to love this coffee shop and gave it several chances to improve, but it never did.

I absolutely despise flavored coffee! I would rather die than drink a flavored coffee. Coffee is supposed to taste like coffee. That’s why I drink coffee and not hazelnuts. But, somehow Little Rippers turmeric latte has won me over. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I like this flavored coffee! Anyway, now I must kill myself. Guess I should get my next turmeric latte to go.

Great neighborhood coffee shop with an Aussie feel (Vegemite anyone?). Traditional coffee menu featuring a few speciality drinks. Many vegan and dairy free options as well. Food menu feature beautiful and delicious open faced toast options made to order. Pastry case also feature your standard coffee shop fare with a few added special treats. Parking is limited to the street, and can get a little difficult during the morning rush, and trash day (Monday). A couple tables adorn the front, with a side patio to offer a handful of extra seats.

Did you know you needed chai with turmeric infused almond milk? Neither did I, but now I’ll be seeking this exotic flavor in every coffee shop I enter, fully knowing I’ll be disappointed every time. The avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had, due in large part to the incredible bread it comes on; soft yet crusty, flavorful and absolute magic. Make this a regular spot and your life will improve if only for the amount of time it takes to imbibe their delicious wares.
