We met Giallo Stone Owner Andrey at his storefront and he showed us a bunch of samples and options we were looking for. We chose Calacatta Gold Quartz by Silestone. Andrey was able to look at our floor plan drawing and quickly determine layout, joints, and slab quantity. Field measurements at the house took place after our cabinets and plywood tops were complete. During installation the Giallo Stone crew were able to cut around the farmhouse sink precisely. The slab seam joints and caulk joints turned out very well done. We are pleased with our Quartz countertop installation. Our Kitchen is still under remodel but as you can see from the photos, the countertops are making a huge difference. Thank you.
We did a small job with a remnant piece from Giallo. It was affordable as we were able to select an ideal remnant piece. Giallo has lots of stock and they do a lot of work so there was decent selection available. Andrey is a bit of an odd fellow but he is honest and hard working if you can get through the somewhat rough exterior. Overall, we were pretty happy about the final product and will likely go with them again if available.
After 5 months of going through the process of renovations I was very stressed out with the process. Mostly because of the long delays and poor communication from our contractors. So my expectations were set pretty low. So when I spoke to Andrey the first time I was very surprised by how quickly he got back to me and his friendliness. We got 3 other estimates but decided to go with Andrey because of how easy it was to communicate with him and when asking questions you could really tell this guy was an expert in his craft. From start to finish the process was smooth, they finished within the timeline given, and they did an amazing job. Thank you again!
If you looking for a very high price but same quality material, this is your go to store. But if you looking for a smart purchase, I’ll recommend you search for another store.
We found Giallo Stone through Costco. Karina was the first person we met. She came to my house to give us a cost estimate. Unfortunately, the price for the Costco countertop was outside our price range. She suggested visit their showroom on San Fernando Road, there are many other brands and styles and perhaps we can find one within our price range. We visited the showroom on a very slow day right after Thanksgiving. Store owner Andrey helped us with to find a brand/slab within our price range and answered all of our technical and aesthetic questions. One feature we wanted was to have a water fall face on the side of the kitchen peninsula. From talking to Andrey, I gathered he has a lot of experience making water falls. Splitting a piece of expansive slab into different piece so they would fit a custom countertop space, and also maintain the beauty/integrity of the stones pattern and vein. This is why we want it, to give the kitchen space that extra personality, and connect everything together as a whole, from the cabinets to the countertops to the floor. The installation was about 5 hours. Andreys crew was professional, friendly, polite, and cleaned up afterwards. From meeting with Karina (and talking with Jesse) to job completion, the entire process took a little over a week, we were still on budget and on track.Much much thanks and appreciation to Giallo Stone! Great service and we are very happy with our quartz countertop. Highly recommended! Thanks for reading!
I got counter tops for my new kitchen through Giallo. During covid they were extremely accommodating and helped us get the perfect product. At first I was a little apprehensive about the price but looking at my countertops now I could not be happier. Real professional and knowledgeable team. Karina came and suggested things for my kitchen that I would never even think of. It came out looking amazing. No blemishes, perfect cuts, nicely installed. I got silestone eternal statuario and it really just feels like my kitchen is a dream.
I worked with a sales lady Katrina a few years ago she was as pleasant as can be. They fabricated a beautiful white quartz end cap for my fireplace. She required I pay a deposit and upon pick up the balance. Smooth transaction. Two years later I called to see if they could fabricate a marble top for my bathroom. no more than a 5 x 2 foot piece of marble. I thought of them right away because I know they had many remnants from old jobs. I call and spoke with the owner. Katrina was not there. He said sure no problem come down I have many to choose from. Very nice on the phone and wanted my business. He Made an appointment for me to go to their fabrication shop (40 min drive) and pick a stone out. It would be one that they had left over from an old job. That morning I confirmed that i would be there. When I got there he was busy. He’s the owner. I’m an accountant and understand how small business owners get pulled in many directions. So I sat back and waited my turn till he decided to give me his attention. He looked at me with with this face like what do you want. I told him we just text and I was here to find a piece of stone for my bathroom. He was in and out of the conversation and I could tell he wanted nothing to do with me. I was wearing sweatpants and tshirt so maybe he confused me for a worker because he definitely did not treat me like a customer. When he finally decided to help me he showed me some horrible fake marble. He even said it was. I told him I wanted something better quality. He then showed me some basic quartz. He was trying to dump the worst pieces to me. I found a beautiful marble stone. I asked him if he could do this one. He said sure 600. First reaction was it was kind of pricy. He went into detail how he had to fabricate it and install it. I said I would have my guy install it and he said no he had to. I then asked him how much for the ugly he original showed me. He said 600. I got the vibe he didn’t want to do business with me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried to lighten the mood and said ok let’s do the fancy one I liked then. we agreed on how it would be made and installed. This is where he lost his cool. I said ok I’ll give you the deposit today what do you need? 300 ok? He said he needed the full 600. I’ve done some remodeling jobs and I know never to pay all upfront. Every contractor I worked with never bills all upfront. What incentive does he have to finish the job. So now I know this guy doesn’t want my business. I told him I would give him 300 now and the balance when completed. We both have incentives to perform. I have 300 on the line and he has 300 to make by completing the job. He said he didn’t trust me and I would not pay him. Like I’m going to walk away from 300 I told him. I was calm the whole time and tried to speak sensible with him. I needed this and wanted to work with I’m. He would not budge. He got so aggressive I thought he was going to hit me. He came abruptly towards me to escort me off his property. In all honesty, I didn’t loose my cool. I said you could have 300 in your pocket right now for a simple job and unload a stone you may never use. He said leave. He was an arrogant jerk. He made me feel like i wasn’t good enough for him. Treated me like less than human. Maybe he had some personal issues that day. He made me feel like Julia Robert’s in pretty woman when she got denied in the Beverly Hills clothing store. Well big mistake, huge! cause I have to go shopping now! My home in Palm Springs needs all new kitchen and bathroom tops. Whatever dude you don’t need my business I know that the logical response on your end but you just don’t treat people like that.
The only reason this company is getting 2 stars is because of Ramon and his assistant. They did a good job on my counters, but if it was up to Andrey and karina it would be cero star.
Giallo Stone did an excellent job, the result is beautiful. It took us a while to realize that the best does not have to be far away. In planning the new kitchen countertops and backsplash, we drove around quite a bit to look at different companies - and only then noticed - essentially in our backyard - this place that I had passed by daily on my commute to work without paying attention.Andrey and Liam were helpful, the selections of quartz and stones were extensive. After making a choice, we secured “our” slabs by making a down payment. The coordination with other workers and the actual implementation from template to the finished installation was comparably smooth. And again, the result is very nice.Would definitely recommend an/or use for future work.P.S.: to the company: please install a working fax.
Giallo Stone is the absolute best. I had originally gone to another fabricator, who after 4 weeks still had not produced the top for my vanity and, whats more, was rude to me when I asked when it would be done. After wasting all that time, I found Giallo Stone. Liam and Andrey were fantastic. They fabricated and installed the vanity top in 9 days--and it looks great. I cant recommend them more highly.
Andrey is extremy rude and does not follow directions.
Giallo Stone just finished my kitchen countertops and backsplash. WOW!!! Its so beautiful and the care and professionalism of Andres crew is the best! I would recommend them to everyone!!! (I keep going back into my kitchen to look at it again and again. My kitchen is gorgeous!) Thanks Andre!!!! I love Giallo Stone!!!
Go local go Giallo
