This place is the bomb! The staff is friendly. The environment is cool and relaxing. Parking is pretty plentiful. It’s a good relaxing environment, especially for studying. They do not have WiFi at the moment, but for me that cool because it limits distractions. I absolutely love the staff. They are the best. I hope management is treating you well because you all deserve it!

Bruh! Idk who told them to make champurrado or whatever it is but its not good. It tastes like watery hot chocolate with some cinnamon. Also tried the tres leches and chocolate mousse looking cakes and umm not a hot with me. So idk whats up with them but the way the cashier skipped me as I waited was probably the cherry on top. Its probably good to that new crowd but yeah steep your game up monarca.

Love the cakes by the slice. Slushitos popular with kiddo. Friendly and helpful always - cheery place to stop by in the morning on the way to work.

I’ve visited this location on 3 separate occasions and on every visit the various cashiers has been incredibly rude and passive aggressive which indicates to me this is both a training and hiring issue. Truly disappointing because I loved the café options here but it’s not worth the attitude I’m consistently met with, Never again.

This place is one of the nicest yet most affordable coffee places around. Where others charged about $5 for a simple iced coffee, monarca was $2.65 and just as good. The best part is their pastries. Very much worth a stop!

Favorite location other than South Pas

I like this place but lately they have been giving me the wrong items in delivery orders and one time it was a cake that turned out not to be fresh. I had already cut into it so I didnt think I could take it back but also, I am trying to avoid contact because of covid, so I just put up with it. Another time they cancelled an order of mine for no reason and when I called they couldnt figure out why they had cancelled it. So I am not as eager to order from here as in the past. Its too bad, they used to be good.

The sweet bread, the salads, and the coffee drinks are amazing! You need to come and try it! Better than Starbucks..

Tried the Frozen Chompurrado and it was refreshing on a hot summer day. Not sure how I felt about it though. I didnt hate it but I am not going out of my way for it. I think I have out grown ice blended drinks in general. The hibiscus tea was a bit watery and you can see where they just have it already made in a metal container. The service was stellar and people followed the social distancing signs well. So yay!

I stopped by to use their restroom while I was delivering mail and Google flagged me down for a review. Their establishment is clean and well-lit and smells like sweet pastries. Their restroom is really clean too. I guess any place that puts in that much effort and attention to cleanliness must have good food and refreshments. Also, I didnt get shot like that time I didnt get shot when I drove by that park while delivering mail the other night. 5 out of 5 stars.

Staff is pretty awesome. So far great experiences. Great pastries, galletas, pan, pastel, flan. This time they had samples of a tasty moist melt in your mouth guava cake. BOMB! They offer drinks, tacos, other food and snacks :))

I am very unhappy with my recent visit to this Bakery. I walked in around 7:50 this morning. And place an order for an espresso with almond milk. I asked a woman at the register if this Bakery offered any vegan pastry options and she pointed at a glass cabinet and said yes! That glass cabinet of pastries is vegan so then at that point I chose two pastries from the cabinet and added to my order.Once I finish my espresso and pastries, I decided to go on my phone. From where I was sitting I was facing those same glass cabinets about ten feet away and I noticed that one of the other options of pastries in the vegan cabinet was a type of cheese danish,So I decided to stand up and walk over to the woman behind the counter and clarify about this vegan pastry. To my great disappointment she informs me that only two options of pastries on the very top, within that cabinet were vegan!? Everything else was dairy-based. Now realizing that this woman intentionally sold me a non vegan pastry I was very upset.Of course I understand that this was my mistake I believe that it is La Monarca bakery obligation to properly, and visibly label when something is or is not vegan, or at the most correct or clarify when a customer has made a mistake Before placing an order Because now in this morning I feel sick to my stomach.

Bought 3 different cake slices 😋Guava, Chocolate, and dunce de leche. All three were dry and tasted like they were in the fridge for a few days😬😭. I also had their Cafe de olla, it was delicious 😋 . Customer service was great!!!

La Monarca Bakery, amazing pastries and good coffee. My only complaint is that there are no coffee stirrers. You have to use a spoon instead. Im all for eco friendly, but a wooden coffee stirrer doesnt seem overly harmful to the environment. Also it must take a lot of water to wash a bunch of dirty spoons.

I am able to eat a meal without throwing away plastic!This is some of my favorite coffee in town, helps that any calorie I buy with it redefines delicious. zero ways to go to the bathroom.

Good coffee and pastries, not the best I have had. Reasonably priced. Great to bring to work to share for a meeting or with coworkers. They even have to go boxed coffee.

The chocolate chip cookie is thin and crisp.The coconut cream tart was delish and very sweet; it had light cream on top, bottom layer was a savory coconut filling with dry chocolate on the bottom of the tart. It was a nice dessert for two people to share.

Everything looks so delicious it is really hard to choose what to get.The cake is moist and the buttercream is light and creamy w/o being too sweet.

The cafe de olla is from Oaxaca MexicoToasted. Have a delicious flavor. And a sweet bread, tres leches cake, trenzas. Hot chocolate and champurrado.

Large selection of pastries (which they will warm up for you if you ask), cakes, and coffee. Big fan of the cinnamon rolls! Bright and open, this place is a great place to sit and enjoy your food. Staff is very friendly and will let you taste food if you have questions.

This place is one of my new favorite dessert spots in CA ! They have plenty of different pies, as well as vegan. We got the banana cream pie and a double crusted apple pie topped with ice cream. It was sooo good. Also, their hot chocolate is a must have! I highly recommend. Overall its such a chill location and the staff is very welcoming. No wifi, but there are bathrooms.

This location was great, cashier graciously offered a sample of the guava cake - which was delicious (note to self: moms birthday cake). Coffee was perfect - I asked for ice to cool it quicker and received quickly in a smaller plastic cup - which was also perfect, ☆☆☆☆☆

A wire in the slice of quiche that my son was eating.Aunk was just a scare, they must pay more attention to the food they prepare one day they will kill a person or a child,And they are going to sue them.Someone has to supervise and change the scourers with the k wash the utensils xk looked at it was a scourer wire.If they are old CHANGE THEM !!!Do not be miserable for not changing something like a scouring pad will cause misfortune.

Well, I think first of all my respects for the employees are very friendly and that is very good but there is a very important problem that I realize that the manager or the owners of the bakery care only for it and uncontrolled their staff regardless the consequences, for example, bread is sometimes spent in the oven for being changing staff at all times and even changing its staff schedule and there are more things to comment but we better see you next time
