I am a busy single mom with a new job and baking 6 dozen cookies for the school fundraiser. I dont have time to think about my retirement, but considering the free government services promised by the Democratic hopefuls, Trumps call for negative interest rates, and the Feds overnight lending I put aside one afternoon, called four precious metals IRA brokers and settled on Orion. I emailed my Orion contact one statement from my stock market IRA, and requested the forms for my transfer consent be sent by old-fashioned snail mail since I dont have a fax machine. When they arrived the line for my signature was clearly marked with a return envelope included. I missed several phone calls but Orion persisted and didmanage to catch me at the grocery store, where I explained my situation and my goals. I was given a purchase recommendation, and my consent was given over the phone on my way to a parent teacher conference. I do not recommend everyone spend such little time on their finances as I have, but if Orion had not made the entire process so simple, I would still have all my retirement savings in paper assets. My account value is rather small but I was not made to feel as if I was wasting the brokers time, and all of my questions were answered. I never got an automated answering machine, but always spoke to the same human contact. Time will tell if this was a wise financial move, but the decision was mine. I did not feel as if I was being pushed into anything by a salesman. I expressed my financial goals, and was given a recommendation which fit my perspective and my goals. I think had I expressed my goals differently, I would have been given a different recommendation. I would advise Orion to anyone who knows there is a day of reckoning coming from the QE, but is not quite sure how to prepare, anyone busy, anyone who is intelligent and wishes to be treated as an intelligent person, but is a novice in the metals world.
