Great place! The Owners need to put some outdoor tables on the third floor. Some people still do not want to eat inside because of the vaccination levels.

This is a very old school place it has been in Los Angeles many years it has from trinkets to Big Time spices and herbs with food and music on the third floor which is awesome I suggest to everyone that visits Los Angeles come to this place you will find it to be very nice. This is a place to pray a little bit in the plaza.

Hadnt been here in years. Only gave it 4 stars due to so many of the locales being shut down. The smell of leather from the boot/shoe stores made me nostalgic. You can find a variety of moles and spices here. You can find authentic cooking/kitchen vessels, utensils, etc. If you want to find ponchos, guayaberas, embroidered blouses and skirts or rebozos(shawls), this is where to find the real deal. Cowboy boots and hats? Here. They also have a little snack area where they sell, mangoneadas, Tostilocos, elote, Mexican ice cream and other goodies.

I went today 8/10/21 and was surprised to see most of the shops are now in the parking lot. I purchased a pistachio ice cream.. Snacks are pre-packaged. Also, the ice cream, raspados and chips out door area is now behind plastic plexi. People seemed to keep social distances for the most part. I did see a few people with no masks and no masks on their kids. If you go just know you cant really eat there and their food is packaged to go. Keep your eye out for people that dont wear masks because those people werent socially distancing at all.

They moved a lot of vendors outside so theres less of a contagion risk. There are still some vendors indoors but most are outside as well as some food vendors. Parking is more limited now so I suggest you get there early to avoid crowds and get a parking spot. Most people were wearing a mask so that was also reassuring. All vendors I interacted with wore masks and were very helpful!
