This charming supermarket has made a lasting impact! Anything theyre selling isnt expensive. Since the market place was so large, it was easier to choose your options. Good choices with the meat. Get there early for freshness. Parking a little hectic. But there’s plenty of people to move the lines along at the register. It’s a good place. Not the usual choices like Ralph’s or Vons, but it’s really good for a Latin market.

Ive been a customer of this shop for a long time and can vouch for their dependability. The parking is excellent, and the food is of excellent consistency. In addition, there isnt much of a wait at the counter. My highlights are the fresh fish section and the canned food section. It is strongly recommended!

This is the worst branch of the Northgate chain I have ever visited. This store is uncomfortable, dirty, expensive and most of its employees serve reluctantly, with a bad attitude that it seems they are doing us a favor. There is an urgent need for a change in the look of the store and a complete change of employees or at least give them a good orientation in customer service.

Hot bolillos, many varieties of hot and fresh tamales, prepared masa, piñatas, every possible dried pepper you could want, fresh tortillas, fresh produce, beautifully maintained store with friendly employees. We are here visiting from Atlanta, I sure wish we could take this store home with us!

A huge, clean, easy-to-navigate AND PARK westside market with Mexican and Latin specialties (including the block of lard below!). Ready-to-go rotisserie chicken, taco specials and tamales show what the dishes should taste like. Prices are competitive, with specials, but not cheapest in town by any means.

The shops best feature is that you can do almost everything quickly and easily. Its where I always get my frozen meals, and theyre still delicious! Several of them are reasonably priced! Its a spacious and beautiful room! This is such a lovely location!

Please check the date of any type of meat when you buy here. As well as the strawberries and raspberries. I saw a worker fixing the strawberries and making the boxes seem even by evenly distributing the fruits inside of the boxes and he wasnt wearing any gloves when doing so. Disgusting. To top it off I went for a quick run and grabbed chicken to cook today (11/06/2020) and I got home.. and realized that.. its expired! W. T. F. 😂If I dont get the rona Im for sure getting food poisoning 😂

The only good customer service youll receive here is in the meat counter and you can get some from the people that are stocking up the shelves, everyone else hates their job. The worst one is the hot food area and the cashiers. Shopping here leaves the sour note on your day I never leave this place satisfied. The meat is great thats why I brace myself before every visit. Every visit it seems like I hear an employee or two talking about how much they hate working there, how much they loathe management. Never a smooth visit, thats for sure.

This store is part of a chain of grocery stores that were previously called Gonzalez Markets. Its a Latinx market with good selection of produce, baked goods, a hot deli and full meat department. They have a good selection of frozen and other dry goods as well.

Love shopping at Northgate, you will find fresh fruit and vegetables and great Hispanic products under one roof. They also have hot ready food to go such as carnitas y Pollo.. and dont forget to grab their warm and ready tortillas (yum).

Small but packed with good stuff. Hot deli is worth a visit alone. Better roast chicken than the big markets--not mushy + salty--and its made fresh there. In-house bakery featuring hot, fresh bollilo bread rolls to die for + warm from oven pan dulce (pastries). Tons of prepared meal items ready to eat or get a burrito made-to-order at counter. Meat counter. Mexican products. Not a cheap store but its reasonable. Quick checkout. Parking.

Good market with big selections on produce, meats, bakery and cooked food. Prices are competitive to other big markets. Parking can be hard to find during busy times though. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I like their products, It was sad to heard that the manager asked the civid 19 free test guys to go away, it supost to be a bussines that support community, shame on them.

The have good prices and fresh fruit, oh and the bolillos are bomb! I like going there because is close to my place but the cashiers have horrible customer service specially this guy name Nestor! He is always in bad mood, this is not the first time I pay my stuff with him and always is the same, I said Hi, he doesnt reply back, I had to asked him my total because he doesnt bothered say how much was it, He pushed my stuff away,not even asked if I need a bag, I had to ask for it too. I said thank you at the end and he just ignored me. (Super rude) I dont expect him to be all friendly but at least professional, he is an a position where he has to deal with a lot a people, be a little bit nice doesnt cost that much!

Market is always clean and staff is very helpful and nice. Groceries good quality. But lately Ive had the bad luck if buying soiled items 3 different times. Maybe it because theyve cut down on employees? Idk but that never happened before covid. Just be cautious and check dates on food and check ur meats before you leave!

Its an ok clean place for a quick run to pick up fresh bakery and produce but thats all it is good for.Thats why the 3 stars.But never mind the deli counter;management really needs to train their workers in the hot foods/deli section to be more helpful and courteous with customer service.I tried to ask a question about a prepared dish but I couldnt tell if the deli worker understood me or was just plain rude and too busy to help me like he didnt want to be bothered by my short simple question.Learn to speak basic English language cause it isnt just the Latinos that visit your store, this is the US remember?Very disappointed and will avoid that area of the store from now on.I dont care if this location is primarily Latino, no excuse for the rudeness!This store really needs improvement with that PLUS train your workers to be more pleasant and helpful and have better manners especially in the food service department.

Convenient as it faces the main street. Plentiful parking but the store is crowded esp. during rush hour. Prices are decent but overall quality is low. I was more excited about the Mexican food truck/stands outside, which operates very late. Tasty! Be wary of leaving your car in the parking lot after the market closes. The security guard will lock the parking gate :(

I made a quick stop here with my sister-in-law because she wanted to grab something quick to eat. I grabbed a Lemon Poppy Muffin from the pastries section. I really like poppy seed muffins, but this one was just okay. Good, but nothing special. I shouldve went for a different pastry...maybe next time. Checkout was quick & painless. Really organized place! & I like how theres a private garage. Totally accessible. Having a Petes on the bottom floor is a total plus :)

Northgate always have fresh vegetables, fruits, and they got a bakery. They have a huge parking lot, and their prices vary. Its always clean.

I work in the business district on the weekends so there arent any real grocery stores nearby except for Kress which I am extremely thankful for. Sure I can walk another a couple blocks and go to Pike Place Market, but when youre on a short lunch break, you dont really wanna deal with the chaos that is Pike Place Market on the weekends. With that said, I usually buy food from the hot foods section. They have a decent salad bar and the soups are very delicious. I know they have produce, but Ive never purchased any if it so I cant really comment. Totally a fan!

They offer a huge selection of flavors that we tried a lot of, all rich & creamy. They have Asian flavors as well, like pandan coconut, Thai tea, Japanese milk tea... and also vegan/non-dairy options. It is artisan ice cream with unique flavors so it is on the pricey side but its a nice treat after dinner or such.

So they have amazing flanes right!? So I decided to stop by and purchase one from here for a special occasion ; I get to the store at 10:29 and one of the guys stops me I told him I just needed a flan and he said sorry I can’t let anyone come in at 10:30 mind you it was 10:29, so if your running few minutes late don’t even bother going go somewhere else!! Don’t waste ur time believe me upsetting!

This is my favorite grocery store to go to! I love all the great deals I can get here, so I come here for almost all of my grocery needs, beyond just the Mexican pastries and meat that I enjoy being able to pick up from here as well! This is the ideal Mexican market to get all those Mexican goods you want, and pretty much anything you could find at a regular grocery store for a much better deal as well! The store itself is a decent size and very clean and organized. I look forward to continue shopping here for my grocery needs!
