You really do get what you pay for having worked with many types of stains and paints in the last 30 years. If you know what you are doing and apply the paints in the correct sequence. You do achieve some miraculous stunning paint work. The Color pallet is fantastic when used on ceilings and walls. The full gloss enamel flows out and provides a sophisticated look to cabinets and doors. This is one of Los Angeles top paint stores but beware parking is tricky on Melrose Avenue.

I have used F&B paints in the past and been satisfied. They certainly do a great job marketing it. I recently bought paint for kitchen cabinets and trim and on the recommendation of the sales person chose their Floor Paint. She presented it as the obvious -- essentially the ONLY -- good choice for kitchen cabinets.As it turns out, this is very thin, very runny water-based paint and something of a nightmare in this situation. I suspected I had a bad, or possibly mislabeled can and called the showroom. The gentleman I spoke with assured me that there was nothing wrong with the product -- that Floor Paint is thin and runny. He implied that while you CAN use it for cabinets, most people choose their Eggshell product for cabinets. When I wondered why his colleague would have recommended Floor Paint, he just said that he didnt know what to tell me. Basically, tough luck, buddy.At something like $110/gallon its not exactly the sort of customer service I would expect.I think I just remembered why i used to be a Dunn Edwards customer.
