Went here the other day. During the middle of covid 19 pandemic and No Soap was available for cleaning my hands. Not exactly my idea of keeping their store stocked with cleaning supplies. I want soap to wash my hands not antibacterial hand gel. This bathroom was just gross, needs to be updated or maybe some bleach bought and really give it a good scrubbing. Other than the dirty womens bathroom the store is well-stocked and not really that bad looking.

Good place to buy craft supplies. Never enough Halloween crafting stuff.

Was shopping for Fiskars pinking shears. Found them to be considerably less than their competition. Didnt need a sales persons help, but actually heard one ask someone else if they needed assistance. Place seemed well stocked too.

Customer service was excellent i needed assistance with finding something to use to hang a very large portrait. I showed her the portrait and she was able to find and suggest the best hanging kit for my portrait.Easy and fast check out

Sad to say that they are not stocking dies and stamps and cardmaking thing. Seems to be an all cricut store in the papercrafting area.

They rang up my cart wrong but was not worth the gas to go back over there to figure it out. They said I could come into the store and they would fix it, but I live on the other side of the city and it was only 7.00. And one of the posts I bought was broke! I did t see that till I came home.

Staff is great and the store is always well stocked with a variety of beads...which is what I mainly buy.

Love the store but every time we asked where something was, we were told they did not have the item. Fortunately for us, we kept looking and found each item. The staff was quite rude.

Organized neat clean friendly

I love Michaels, usually. This time, I got a quote for pictures being framed. The cost for two was more than double for the exact products at another store. Time to evaluate your products and practices and step up your game.

Today was extremely bizarre. I went in there to purchase a high price item and was acknowledged very quickly by a few staff members who delegated different responsibilities to one another, one would go to the register and one would go search for what I was going to purchase which had to be in the back or someplace else locked up. I did not see anyone return to me for a good 10 minutes, but when the young lady that did originally go look for this item in the back came back up to the front she was engaged in other things, helping customers and assisting one of the cashiers bring up another customer and do a return. She briefly told me that she was still looking for my item and immediately got on to a register to start ringing people up as well. And there I was standing for several more minutes until I just got fed up and left. They should be more attentive. First come first serve. I was even going to pay a bit more money to buy it from Michaels, but after that I am now going to be ordering the item from Amazon. What a way to lose a sale on something so simple. All the hustle and bustle all around me and being pushed back further on the customer to do list isnt a good way to go about conducting business. Find the item, next. Its not difficult.

They have an amazing framing department but their prices and layout usually have me going somewhere else. If theyre the closest thing to you its fine but if you have a minute and arent getting something framed, look elsewhere.

No stock on shelves and associates seemed to have other things to do than help customers. I then left the store empty handed. I was very disappointed.

This location was rather empty shockingly, compared to other locations.

I love this location. The staff is friendly. I can always find what Im looking for and more. I can buy eucalyptus here where most other craft stores dont sell it. I love their fall and Halloween decorations!

Went to Michaels last week to investigate getting a canvas painting framed. Huge shoutout to Nicole in management who made the process easy and enjoyable. She made sure we ordered EXACTLY what I wanted and helped me through understanding the promotional pricing to make sure I got the best bang for my buck. The experience definitely won me over and will be the reason I return in the future. Great customer service doesnt seem to be the standard in most places now-a-days .. its refreshing to see that this location is still making it a priority. Thank you Nicole!

Michael’s always has everything you need for arts and crafts

I can usually find what I am looking for at Michaels on my own because there is never enough helping the store. When I went to check out today there were literally 13 people in front of me with only one line open. I finally spoke up to the cashier asking her if she could bring more help up to check out these customers. She said there were only 2 of them in the store and the other woman was in framing. I went back there to have her check me out and told her what was going on up front. Unfortunately her store manager or regional manager had all of the stores on a conference call at 12:15 pm no less. It is always like this in this store. I spend no less than 20 minutes waiting to check out and most times more. The Michaels on Westport Road never has this problem. They will he getting my business in the future. Poor planning by store management doesnt sit well with me.

Michaels is good for crafts. It has baking tools, paper and scrapbooking materials, yarn, leather tools, Styrofoam, framing, seasonal decorations and themed toys and activity kits, fake floral supplies, some beads, and a very small set of sewing notions. No sewing machines. They have thread, but it is hidden halfway down a back aisle. But I found it, and along with standard and some decorative threads, they do carry transparent thread (also known as invisible thread).There is no fabric on bolts here though their ribbon has quite a variety. There are few everyday home decoration items.Compared to Joann and Hobby Lobby, Michaels has a medium sized inventory. The quality of their merchandise and the cleanliness and arrangement of the store are good and on par with Hobby Lobby and Joann.

Its much bigger than the Michaels in my town. Has more products and seems to be stocked pretty well. My one gripe is that trying to get an employee to help you felt impossible, not because of unwillingness but because it seemed the only available ones were stuck on a register with no one on the floor. It should be a requirement for stores of this size. Other than that, was great.

Do you need cheap crafting supplies? Do you not want to support Hobby Lobby? Michaels is your option, then. Its like Hobby Lobby, but without the overt American-Christian preachy garbage. And smaller. Woof--this review got real political, real fast...

Great store if youre working on something and need a craft related item. They have quite a variety of things. The cashier even scanned a coupon to save me some money on my purchase.

Pretty much what you expect from Michaels. Nothing too fancy, but when you need fake plants NOW, this is your go to place.

Had low stock of brushed nickel or metallic colored jewelry pieces and crimps.

Terrible customer service. Instead of serving the customer the staff are too busy gossiping and talking about their weekend. Asked to speak with a manager and the person who came up was the one I had the issue with. Then she told me she didnt know who was the general manager of the store. I asked for a district manager and again was told no one knew who they were. But when your staff is talking about marijuana instead of serving customers I assume they are too smart to give me the information needed to get the issue corrected. Sad store if there is really no management.

There are other arts and crafts places but Michaels always has a good deal. The staff are attentive and the store is well organized.

Love shopping at Michaels but today after searching and finding all the right merchandise I wanted, I was waiting in a long line and the lady behind me said if you dont have cash or check they cant check you out. Therefore I asked one of the cashiers and she said yes that is true. Had to put all my merchandise down and walk out empty handed. Was not a happy shopper because I really needed the things I had picked out.

Michaels is my go-to location for buying craft supplies. They have a good variety of supplies and frequently have sales going on. The staff here is always very helpful and friendly. If you get the Michaels app you gain access to lots of great coupons. The only complaint I have is that the prices are a little on the high side. If there is somthing you really want there ots best to check for sales and coupons.

Canvas board is good and cheap. Most of the time you will get it for min 40% off. I did first time canvas painting 🖼, output was i expected. Arcylic color is good and it is water proof. its good for canvas painting. You have more option to buy water color as per your needs.Acrylic color that have is around 24 color, which is quite enough for all sketches. Paint brush quality is too good for a affordable price. I brought both with in 20$. Im using the color for past one year, still it is good and usable. Color did not become hard.. .

Great place to shop! I love the kids classes and the woman who does the Saturday morning kids club was amazing, friendly and helpful. Definitely prefer this to Westport location.

Huge variety of products. But like most Michaels stores, can feel somewhat disorderly. This particular store is also small for all the things it carries, so it feel cramped in certain areas (some aisles are essentially one way).

Love to buy beads for crafting. And they always have some kind of sell going on and I love using the 40% coupons

Michaels was clean and their staff were very helpful and friendly. I feel like their variety in mediums was lacking. If you need yarn, great place. But of youre looking for pastels, or sealants, or watercolor pencils, the selection is very small

Every single person in this store is rude as hell. The items are so close together that I couldnt even push the cart around. When I went to pick up an item, instead of coming to me they made me walk all over the store. Definitely wont be back
