I’ve used ACS for computer repairs and parts on more than one occasion and they have always been very good/outstanding. They’re honest, straightforward, and helpful. They’ve fixed flood damaged Apple computers and accessories, and provided (free) advice and assistance for what I call DOS machine (all the computers that aren’t Apple). These guys are really good at their job and honest brokers.There is parking alongside the building or on the street. Walk in or call ahead. You can call and ask questions or explain the problem in advance to know what your options are in advance. They give great advice.

Used ACS twice: once to see if the owner could retrieve Word documents on old 5&1/2 floppy discs-individuals under 50 may not realize floppy really meant bendable, delicate. Not like the hard-encased floppies of this generation. He wasnt able to retrieve all the information, but did a hard fought search & recover. The second time he had to break my password, as the hacker made it impossible for me to login. He was successful in routing out the hacker, and in restoring a little bit of faith--in humanity, not computers.

I have used ACS for computer repairs of and on for the past several years and several laptops and have always received excellent and professional service. Recently I was having some issues but due to several work deadlines and video meetings needed my laptop diagnosed and fixed in as short a time as possible. Ed took it and since it was an emergency was able to find the problem and fix it in an afternoon. Professional and personable to deal with.

I went to ACS Computers with a Dead Notebook Computer with all of my data on it. Ed Stacey brought it back to life and saved all of my data. I cant thank him and ACS Computers enough. They are reasonable and Life Savers! Best Computer Store in the City!!!

I respectfully came to this computer shop with information specifically set out and gave all specs needed for a project I was working on. I spoke with Ed on a few different occasions regarding these specs and what I needed. I have sat on this computer trying to figure out (hints I am no tech genius, but am learning on the way) why I am unable to do what I need to on my sim. I called to speak with him he was rude and very unhelpful with a disrespectful remarks. I mentioned to him I have bought an additional power supply unit as the one he said he built was compatible. It was not! I bout an updated graphics card bcuz he put in one that was no where near compatible with what I gave him. I was new to this all and he took advantage of my lack of knowledge and is refusing to help once I have caught in to what he has done to me. I have spent an additional $560 graphics card and $70 on a new power supply and the mother board he said he built which is a prebuilt is not compatible for neither add on.I also mentioned him taking information off of a laptop I was having him look at. He said it was unrepairable and don’t throw it away give it to me if you are going to. Well that laptop now works.I told him I never gave him permission to take that information and all he said it was a year ago.It just upsets me that I paid for something I trusted I was getting not to mention waiting a few extra weeks because parts were not in. All I called him to ask is if he could correct the mistake. I mean I have already spent an extra $630 and he said well go to amazon order it what you need. Thanks and many Blessings!After speaking with a few other computer companies it was said that it is very sad that someone would do this to someone and that the computer was a pre built off the shelf pc and would barley run free games lol. Have to love this world we live in. People do anything for a buck.

Employee was very dismissive. To the point that I don’t think he ever actually looked up at me. Not surprised he wasn’t listening to the problem through all the gum smacking. He literally asked me what the issue was and walked away while I was mid first sentence to do something in the back. Felt like I was dealing with a neighbors teen rather than a place of business.

ACS fixed my Computer when I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. Highly suggest their Services! Ask for Ed and he will help you out! Glad they are in business!

Went in there with a pretty specific idea of what I was looking for while I was in there, noticing a lot of older computers in the store. Looked for an early 90s 486 / Pentium-era machine, and made that aware to the person in the shop there that day. The conversation, time and time again, was turned back around to an Intel Atom computer that he had in the front, obviously thinking it was a cheap sell. When he realized I knew what I was talking about, pulled the time is money card when he mentioned items in the back and the time to go through them, at which point I outright left.I will not be going back there again.

Free parking along side of building. Dave was able to repair/fix my old windows 98 that I need for a cmc machine and replace a ps2 mouse for a great price and quickly to keep my machine up and running with very little down time. I appreciate that as a small local business owner.

I have taken my Computers to ACS for many years! They are always Honest and do a Great Job when I need them! I wouldnt have anyone else look at them! I highly recommend Ed Stacey for any Computer or Printer needs to anyone! Glad they are there and in Business to help me and my friends!

I just call for information on a external hard drive-in casing For my laptop .the Guy who answered the phone was very Rude End not professional at all. Management needs to help with customer service skills Its a key ingredient to helping their business growth. I personally will not be shopping there but you guys can see for yourself.

The owner is a scam artist. DONT GO HERE. My computer charger was not working, a very common issue I learned after the fact. He charged me $80 for his time and called me 20 minutes later just telling me I needed a new charger, which I had to pay an additional $50 for. He takes advantage of his customers and I have no doubt he knew how to fix the issue before he charged me $80 extra dollars.

Looking for any kind of computer part? These guys have it. Also has a selection of new and used computers and tablets to choose from at decent prices. Only downside - its on Bardstown and parking during peak times can be difficult. Theres a very small lot area in the back shared by area businesses.

Very disrespectful, and a total scam artist. Bought something just to find it was not needed. Upon sell I was told I could bring it back. When I tried to bring the item back with my receipt the very next day I will told exchange only, no returns. I then received a sarcastic laugh and was told sorry, thats electronics. Poor excuse for a business man and needs to be taught basic human decency.

I have had a couple of printers repaired by ACS Computers. They have always fixed the problem. I find the prices reasonable. They charge an up-front deposit that gets applied to the invoice total. Some people may be frustrated if they are trying to get an inexpensive (or free) printer repaired and have a $75 repair bill. I am in business and they have saved me from buying new laser printers. Good deal for me.

Had a horrible experience dealing with this company. Dishonest practices, deceiving communications. Overall a really bad experience. They stiff me of 200 dollars for a simple fix of my typewriter. Will never do business with them again.

Brought my computer in for some software issues the gentleman took care of it in less than 20 minutes and his pricing is very very fair

Took in my laptop for service for overheating and graphics so they cleaned the heat sink and the fan and replaced the screen 14 days later its back in the shop replaced the screen again and being charged 60 for labor and 80 for the screen think this is b.s. and so do my fellow veterans
