My laptop battery died and was no longer being charged. In a panic, I brought my laptop to Uptech and hoped for a miracle. The only knowledge I had of them was the few reviews that I read online and that they were the closest to my house.Turns out the part that failed was something only the manufacturer could get and since it was under warranty, I had to deal with HP Support. But the team at Uptech was able to pull all of the data off my hard drive. I had been in the middle of an important project and stressed that I had lost all of that work. They truly came in clutch when I needed it most. I think one of the most critical aspects of the backup they did, was not just getting my documents, etc. They pulled application data off as well. When I got a temporary machine, I was able to copy those settings over and it was like I didnt miss a beat. I just dont believe the regular ole repair shop would have done this. The time they saved me by copying over what they did has proven invaluable.I remember when they called me about the hard drive being encrypted and letting me know that it would take extra work, thus more billable hours. It didnt matter to me because I needed the data. But when I got the bill, I was blown away at how low it was. Great work, fast turn around, did more than I expected, and I got charged less than I expected. Top notch all the way around.

The guys at Uptech went above and beyond to get my system working properly again. There was a quick turn around on the repair. These guys know what theyre doing. Ive been a software developer for more rings than I can count, and Ive learned many things over the years. One of which is that I hate making the thing run; let alone run well. Uptech has now helped me out of numerous PSU, GPU, CPU, and HDD issues. Moral of the story: leave it to them. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly not a complete rip-off thinking that luddites have all the money and dont know any better.

I want to take time to rate, and say Im well pleased with the deal, and service I got here. I started by buying a computer online, which was a mistake. Took the new computer to Uptech, I left with one of their referbished computers with the info from my old computer uploaded. Later I tried setting my printer up. Nothing worked except a phone number to a scammer. The scammer wanted $100. explained his scam saying my computer was hacked. I called Uptech. The tech at Uptech solved my problem, and concluded by saying, do not contact, or deal with scammers, phone him. That was my first instinct, however, the scammers are also good at disguise.

I’ve used their services twice. They have been fantastic both times and really saved me in a big way the second time I needed them.They are also timely and responsive.

The technicians at Uptech are excellent in every aspect. Having owned a network systems integration firm in Southern California, I should know the real deal when I find it. They are it. Enough said. Forget the long lines and crazy prices at Best Buy. Take your PC to Uptech - regardless of the issue.

Came in with a BSOD error (critical process died). I was not able to narrow down the problem beyond the fact my OS was faulting. The guys at Uptech were able to deduce it was an unrecoverable windows fault, along with a bad GPU. Got me taken care of within 3 days.

Took my laptop in after husband dropped it on the charger port side while it was plugged in, caused interior damage that they were able to fix, but also broke the plug. The repair was inexpensive, and they informed me they could sell me the plug but I could get a cheaper one at battery plus since they bought theirs in such large bulk. Honesty goes a long way! Send everyone who asks to them!

I recommend this place for sure. Great service. I went in for a broke computer screen and they fixed it perfectly. Also, they tightened up a part of computer, and added back a piece that was chipped off. They also added Malware to my computer.

Took 2 laptops in for repair, one with broken screen, other just powers on but no screen at all. They fixed one in 3 days, and told me the other was not worth the price to fix it. I am pleased with their service, and honesty about fixing the other. I will recommend this place to all my friends.

My computer was still working but it had slipped off the couch and had come slightly apart at the seam in one of the corners, just enough to prevent plugging the electrical cord in. I was told that it would be a minimum of $50 in parts and $100 in labor. I decided not to leave the computer. I had a friend who works on computers look at it and he was able to fix it in a matter of minutes for no cost at all.

This was my first time taking my computer to a shop to be fixed and I had a good experience. The service here was fast and straight foward. It didnt even take a week to order the part they needed and repair it. I also didnt think it was too expensive, I expect my computer to run a long time after this so it was a fair price in my opinion.👍 They were very nice and gentle with my computer too!

I dropped my lap-top off with Uptech nearly a month ago, and just now got it back. My lap-top was generally slow, so they said theyd clean it up and run some diagnostic tests. As discussed with the technician when I dropped it off, I expected a call with an estimate before any work was done. Nearly three weeks after I dropped my computer off, I hadnt heard anything. I called, and all I was told was that my bill was going to be $50 (Very expensive for the amount of work they did). They hadnt called and given me an estimate or anything before completing work on my computer!I finally pick my computer up, and when I brought it home, nothing worked! I couldnt open my browser or any Microsoft programs (One-Note,Word etc.). I called and told them about the problem, and instead of apologizing and telling me to bring it in for my warranty, the technician tried to run me through a potential fix over the phone! Why would I pay an IT company to fix my laptop, only to receive it back broken, and then be told how to fix it myself!?Overall, VERY poor service, and lack of ownership in their work! I certainly would NEVER even think about using Uptech again, and would NOT recommend their services to anyone else!

We dropped our printer/fax machine off for repairs. They replaced the broken print head. Once we got it home, the print head had punctured the ink to the point it was leaking everywhere. We took it back, and the owner replaced our whole machine for the original cost of our repairs. We are very happy with our service, the owner went above and beyond.

They fixed my iPhone 6 really fast while I was on vacation they had it ready by the time I got back and works like new.

3 days after dropping off my computer at Uptech, technician Josh went through my computer accounts. He found that I had a LinkedIn account. He then went to my profile on LinkedIn. LinkedIn alerts you to everyone who accesses your profile. The only way he could know that I even existed was by going through my computer. What else did he access? I feel very VIOLATED!

Toshiba corporation emailed me this as a authorized service center for a Toshiba laptop that is less than 30days old. I went to the store and the greetings to start was less than respectful. I asked the person the question about getting some factory service and repair. This not so ??person said that they would not touch the laptop that Toshiba said they would service. So now for a laptop less than30 days old with a Warrenty and the extended warranty bought at office depot. So I have to pay $30 dollars they say to keep their warranty for repairs of their defective product. The cost of the product that i paid for and can not use now is $ 941.57. Toshiba and office depot along with Asurion data is not a product or service i would recommend to anyone......

My very expensive thrustmaster warthog joystick had stopped working and the manufacturer had shipped me replacement parts. As my experience goes im not at the level of repairing a 400 dollar joystick when i need a soldering gun to do so. Uptech had it back up and running in a day.Thanks a ton guys!
