I did not appreciate that she cant tell you the pricing of the alterations until they are done which is more than what she quoted. She charged $111.00 on my bridesmaids alteration when she estimated $80 and the dress itself was only $120. I had to go buy my own plastic bra straps. What dress alteration shop does not carry theses? She does not carry these at all if you need them. She does not press your clothes after alterations, and for that kind of money she should at least press what she altered and place it in a plastic bag and not just a hanger. Unprofessional! Even the cleaners give a bag for item even under $6.50. I also did not appreciate feeling discriminated against for coming to this part of town to do business, not by the owner, but her clientle. My money is green like everyone elses and I just wanted to feel like a customer trying to support a small business. Sorry I will not be returning and if your a minority I dont recommend this place if your expecting great customer service. And to top off off my $111 alterations came APART WITHIN ONE DAY!!!!! WHY ME GOD? I have no one to fix my dress before this wedding. I drove all the way from Indiana just to come to this shop. I wish I could show the pictures to prove what I am saying. Worst of all I tried to reach out to her and no response. I need a small claims court attorney 😭😭😭😭.

Poor job in my opinion and I feel like my order was carelessly taken care of. Half of the work I requested to be done on the price was missing at pick up and no refund was offered or solution to the issue. I felt like I shouldn’t have to be the one to ask if I would get a refund for the work missing but I did and nothing was done. Probably won’t be back. Mistake was on something very meaningful and I felt as if it was brushed off and they kept my full payment without reimbursement as well :/yes, this is my business account. The item was my childs first Christmas stocking in which the entire middle name I requested was left off. I confirmed with Monica that we had written it down for design and it was. I was not offered anything for the mistake correcting it or providing me with a refund of the materials that were not used but were paid for.Its unsettling when the customer comes in and finds that something very meaningful was messed up and put so big on the center of it that other letters now cannot be added to it and the only answer I got from Monica at the front was oh it would only be about two dollars that we owe you. I paid $55.00 total for a small name and birth date printed on a baby blanket (turned out correctly), and the stocking which was messed up entirely and that was the response I got about anything being done.That is why I am so upset, and rightfully so. Thanks.

I would not recommend except for VERY basic embroidery.

Sew Cute had a set up cost that was half of their competitor. They allowed me to bring my own materials. Their turnaround and communication was great. The finished product looks high quality and is something I will be proud to display.

I found Kate’s shop online, she altered a jump suit for my graduation. I was very happy with her work!! She & the other ladies in the shop were very nice to me. I took my jump suit to her almost 2 weeks before I needed it because it was around derby & prom time & she had done in less than a week! I definitely will be goin back! Oh, cute gift ideas there!

I purchased 3 facemasks on Friday and received them on Monday. Very well made product. I love them.

I just took a gorgeous $600 ball gown with train to get to shorten. She mutilated the lace bottom. It looked like my three-year-old nephew cut it left with jagged edges and she cut the back shorter than the front. Then had the tension to tight when shortening the train and now the material is stretched out. I’ve wasted three trips to her shop and now I’m one week less to my deadline of needing it. Now having to take the dress to be hopefully salvaged by another seamstress which I’m sure will cost me three times what it would have. They tried to charge me $85 for a war raining a $600 dress

Friendly & helpful staff. I have purchased quality items in the shop for monogramming and I have also brought items purchased elsewhere that have been beautifully monogrammed at Katies. This is my go-to place for customized gifts.

I ordered the baby blanket as a gift. It is advertised on Katies website as 36x50. When I took it out of the bag it measured 30x40. I immediately called and spoke to katie. She said her website must have the wrong information and because I had it monogrammed there was nothing she could do about it. I need the larger size for a cover in the NICU and told her this when I placed my order. After asking for a partial refund she offered 10% which would have been $3.50. I declined. Had I known the blanket was this small I would have shopped elsewhere. Very disappointed. I gave one star because the monogram itself was well done.

Mask came quickly and looks great!

Took 2 French cuff shirts in to monogram initials on the sleeve . Both were on the wrong sleeve, one was off center & crooked. The other was ok but not done as I asked. Ametuerish

Bought several face masks & wish a care label would have come with them. Dryer shrunk mask!!!
