On a Sunday evening, when you know your paycheck did not make it through the weekend and you need some cash for the work week...... call ahed if you need reassurance. Or drop by for the best customer service ever. If u have questions you can call or email also I love the appointments availability option. If you dont want everyone to know or if you have a little more than you want others to know about.... make an appointment. We love this place.

All I did was call to inquire on how they do loans for titles on the car and the young man I spoke to was very unprofessional, might’ve been on drugs not sure, if you want a real deal advisor never take your car to these people you will regret it.

The guy on the phone is disgusting he had an attitude with me for no reason and literally started mocking me when I was speaking to him I do not recommend giving money or having businesses with these guys

Bought a laptop here back in January. My kid messed with it so I took it back to see if they could fix it or pawn it and upgrade. The young guy, didnt catch his name wiped it and reinstalled Windows 10 for me. The best part they didnt charge a thing. I would highly recommend.

Our family does a lot of business with them. They have been nothing short of fantastic! Theyre a great family and not once have we ever been treated unfairly. Theyre easy to talk to, no pressure and really know the business. We recommend them time and time again to our friends and family and will continue to support their business. Bottom line...theyre an awesome family with a great business in Louisville. Hope they stay around for many more years to come! We need good businesses like this. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff, they insult you for bringing in your items, I have never been so I sulted as the staff laughed at me.. I will never be back and Will Tell everyone to not go either.. insulting your customers is not good business.. Dont go to this place ever!!!!

In my opinion, the best pawn shop in Louisville and probably the state of Kentucky.Will communicate with the customer. Dealt more than fairly with me. Nice family owned place and great hours of operation. I highly recommend.

Went to J & M Pawn to check out their guns. Most pawn shops have a small assortment, but these guys have a pretty good selection. I talked with Shawn. He knows what hes talking about. Gave me a good deal. I will go back when Im ready to buy again.

Great little family owned shop. Stopped in on a whim today, and spent some time browsing. They have a very wide selection of stuff to check out, and some pretty good deals on items. Their broadest selections appeared to be guns and power tools, but lots of other things as well. They have pretty much whatever youre looking for, and offered to order anything they might not have in stock. I walked out with a very good deal on a set of gearwrenches.

They done me real well, told them I need a new PC, I got a 13 inch mac book sold to me at a very excellent price. They are open Sundays and have everything Im looking for. Forward to doing business with them more. Thanks, Dennis

I recently paid a visit to J&M Pawn shop on Dixie Highway. The staff was able to help me find the item I was searching for (an Xbox 360) and it was very reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of other electronics. My Uncle was also wondering what a good place to buy a gun would be in town, I am going to point him in the direction of J&M. They really do have something for everyone.

This is a great little family owned business. They are friendly and treat you right. They offer competitive pricing on handguns, rifles and shotguns. If you want something you dont see, they are happy to order it for you.

I purchase Silver by the Troy ounce from J&M pawn shop on a regular basis. They are always polite, and always charge fair prices (usually ~$3-4 above melt/spot, which is pretty standard). Additionally, I have purchased a couple firearms from them. The background check is painless and takes only a few minutes. Again, their prices are quite reasonable, and they carry quite a large selection of hand guns, rifles, and more exotic types. They also carry a fairly good amount of electronics (~15 laptops I could see, TVs, game consoles, etc).Ive been visiting this pawn shop for about a year now and have had nothing but pleasant experiences with the staff.

They told me they would give me 60 just to pawn a 42 smart tv an said tht they get them for a 100 i said if i came in an wanted to purchase a 42 smart samsung how much he said 100 but i get there an it not a 42 inch in there for a 100 an if it was it aint name brans

Very rude and threatening. My daughter had her laptop pawned by someone else and when she followed the instructions to get it back without having to go through the police process, they questioned her. Threatened to her that they can do bad too. The only nice person in there was they guy in the back that was willing to help. But apparetly the pirate boss shut that down real quick. Dont go there or do business with them. They are rude, and will do anything to make sure the situation plays in their favor. No compassion or sympathy. Horrible and good for nothing. My best deaceiption is a legal thief.

Very rude service said they might as well send me to Pakistan and what not wich I found offensive so I walked out and the guy with the eye patch just laughed at me, no reason to be disrespected like that in no way!I get there trying to make a profit as well but there is no need for what happened there!

Was rude asked me questions about why Im selling my laptop. They offered me 50 bucks than I walked out because I felt scammed so I walk back in he says no I dont want it now. Your buying my 300 dollar laptop for 50 yea I should be pist. If he says I act sketchy who wouldnt around a guy with an eye patch who asks question after question. If I could score a zero I would.

Website says that they pawn electronics. I had a top end Denon 7.1 home theater receiver that I wanted to pawn and was told by the gravely voiced woman on the other end of the line, that we dont accept those types of things. That was after she answered the phone, said hello, then proceeded to talk to someone else, then said HELLO again a little impatiently, like it was my fault, and I was wasting her time. Figured if this was how they did business over the phone, why waste my time driving there.

Brought some gold in there was getting a quote from several pawn shops. They beat the lowest price by 20$!!! I ended up getting 150$ for what they offered 65$!!! Wow talk about rip off

They are a joke I have had 2 bad experience with them with pawning something and they tried to say it had a hold on it with the police which was a lie, and another was I was with my wife and we was looking at guns and they said she couldnt get one because I said I liked that gun and it wasnt what she said she wanted to purchase I think it was because we was a mixed couple!!!!
