I needed a sealer for some wooden steps. They did not have what I needed in stock. They called a supplier and I was able to pick it up the next day. They went out of their way to get me what I wanted. They are very knowledgeable and have great customer service skills. I highly recommend them.

I recently found this is an Amazon pickup point. Its a good little paint shop among a cluster of name brand paint stores. The store employees were friendly and quick to serve you. And they are experienced at pickup procedure. I received my package easily.Really, this is a good extra little way to draw customers to your own store, too.Well done, Dages!

This place takes customer service to the next level. I live over 100 miles away and needed a custom item that they are the closest retailer for. Not only did they work with me to get my item perfectly customized, they shipped it to me overnight and saved me 5 hours of driving! If you are in the Louisville area this place has to be your go to for all your painting needs!

Every employee I interacted with went above and beyond to assist me. Better than any experience I’ve had at the bigger retail chains. This will definitely be my “go to” paint store.

I had been in search of paint for the exterior of my home. Tried several different paint store companies with no real customer service or support, so I was getting frustrated.. I walked into Dages Hikes Point and everything changed. Excellent customer experience from beginning to end. Elizabeth Pike and Joan Weiter were amazing all around in listening to my ideas, gave me their expert advice and guided me to the right choice. I absolutely love the iron gate color! Denise Killmeier also did wonderful in assisting me on ideas for my interior. Bravo to this store! This will be the only store that I will use for any projects in the future!

We were looking for a matte poly product to complete a project. Sales people were very helpful with selecting a product and a good brush. Their location is easy to see from the street and there is ample parking. I would recommend them if you have a project.

I’ve recently purchased a home that every inch needs to be repainted. This was originally an overwhelming task. The design services at Dages has been phenomenal!! I’ve come in with some general ideas of colors and they’ve helped me narrow it down quickly. I’m thrilled with every color we’ve chosen thus far. I recently also started looking at wallpapers and the assistance was top notch! This is such a wonderful service, I highly recommend speaking to their design team about any questions with regards to paint color or wallpaper.

The employees here are beyond fantastic!! I visited on a Saturday and the store was empty when I came in... within 5 mins there was a line behind me with the phone ringing off the hook. This crew was unflappable. They too orders, shook paint, answered questions!! They were even carrying paint out to customers cars while being super busy! I came back for my order later that day. They gave me more information about the services they have at their other locations and gave me some pointers on how I can paint some metal pieces I have!! There is no one in the city who offers such excellent service!! I will be a customer for a life!!

She carefully listened to my preferences and was extremely helpful when we made our final decisions regarding the color palette. I am very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend her services.

Instead of loaning me a paint book to pick out colors to paint my 9,000 sq, ft. house they made me purchase the book. It is a small thing against the purchase of so much paint but it was the principle. I will ask my painter Alex to purchase his paint elsewhere. I dont consider that good customer service.The measure of a good business is not the mistakes they make, but how they deal with those mistakes. I have changed my rating from one star to five stars because of the way they handled the situation. They happily refunded my money, apologized and spent three hours helping me with paint colors. Great store! Excellent service! Went in for paint for a house I was flipping and had a problem with pet odor in the house. Not only did I get great advice on a color scheme for the house, Anne also recommended a solution to spray on the floor to get rid of the odors! It worked and the house looks great!

I have been buying wallpaper here for many years. They are always helpful and friendly. Papers come in as promised and look amazing. Many times pricing is better than other locations and their sales are helpful. Lots of in stock papers available for those emergency projects.

This store goes above and beyond what one would expect. My husband and I purchased a fixer upper and have been to Hikes Point Paint & Wallpaper numerous times for our favorite Benjamin Moore paint. The quality of the paint is top notch but the best part of the store is the great service. The owner Tony went above and beyond for my husband this weekend. We stopped by on Sunday needing paint for our remodel not realizing they were closed. My husband got out of the car to check the hours on the door and Tony just so happened to be pulling out of the parking lot at that same time. He asked us what we needed, and opened the doors up for us and got us our paint when they werent even open! Talk about great customer service. Tony you are awesome!

The measure of how well a company does is often a result of how it handles problems, not how well it does overall. Lets face it: Benjamin Moore is exceptional paint. We went there because of the zero VOC paint, which is really evident in there being no smell at all once the paint dries and very minimal before. But we had a problem with the paint, which may have been partly our fault partly the paint. We really are not sure, but what we are sure of is that the store did EVERYTHING in their power to make it right for us. EVERYTHING, including the owner--Ann--coming to our home to make it right. And in the end that is exactly what a customer wants: for the product to work and for the company who makes it to stand behind it.Need paint? Buy it here. Yes BM costs more, but the paint is worth it. The customer service is worth it. The color selection is worth it. Dages Paint Company is the absolute best! Im no expert in painting, but when I bought my house a year and a half ago I painted pretty much every room. Anne Nutt and the rest of the crew are very knowledgeable when assisting in picking colors to meet your needs and guiding you in the right direction for other supplies you may need. The paint is absolutely amazing... it goes on easily and is a great consistency. I just painted my bedroom and didnt even need a second coat! They are also wonderful in answering questions about any concerns regarding your projects. On top of all this, they couldnt be more friendly.. like family... which is just one of the amazing perks in supporting local businesses! I wouldnt recommend any other place for any of your painting needs!

She was fantastic to work with. During my project I was short a substantial amount (my brick is very rough and took a lot of paint) and good karma and Ann’s customer service came into play. Went in to buy a specific paint color and the gentleman Corey was extremely nice and helpful. He told me that the colors probably wouldnt be an exact match because the paint i was trying to duplicate was a varnish with a few additional chemicals in it. He told me if it was too far off to bring it back in and they could test both paints and get them as close as possible. I went home and the paints were very noticeably different. I went up the next day and another guy that worked there refused to match the paint because he wouldnt color mat h sherwin Williams version of their paint color.Basically i just gave them 30 bucks for a worthless quart of paint
