Great products, excellent service and extensive selection of unique beams and live edge pieces to choose from. We purchased a live edge slab for a mantel and couldn’t be happier with Southern Vintage. The hardest part was refraining from purchasing other beautiful pieces they had in the showroom.

We were looking for basement flooring in our 1920 house. Our interior designer recommended John, who helped us pick exactly the right product, at the right price point for us, to create a playroom and family room. John also put together a floor prep plan to address our old concrete basement floor. Manny, the flooring installer, did a fantastic job with both the floor prep— which had to be challenging— and laying our luxury vinyl plank perfectly. Manny and his team also installed shoe molding, showing great attention to detail. John and Manny are the nicest guys. Manny was communicative about changing schedules when the floor prep needed more time then expected. Amazingly, despite a few challenges, Manny was able to finish the job before our son’s birthday party. It looks gorgeous and feels fantastic underfoot. For high quality product and service, we highly recommend Southern Vintage!

I was looking for vintage barn wood flooring on the internet low and behold I found southern vintage located here in Louisville. We picked out same flooring they had on their showroom floor to install in house I was renovating. Floors turned out beautiful and I believe were the reason house sold in a day. My wife and I liked so much we are having installed in our house. John was knowledgeable and great to work with. Flooring was higher than I wanted to spend, but end result was worth it!

John did old beech wooden floors at our retirement home in coastal NC. The floors are beautiful and any issues we had he personally made sure that we were happy. John flew down himself to inspect the work. They are the experts if you are looking for any type of hardwood but especially older type barn wood floors . He also covered each bedroom headboard wall with a different old barn wood which turned out so beautiful . I would highly recommend using southern vintage for any protect .

Great experience. Love my new barn wood mantle. Sara helped me choose the color, it goes great with the color of the stone on my fireplace. Installer was great, very knowledgeable about what he was doing, and super nice! They said it would take 4-6 weeks it only took 3 weeks! Will definitely use them again for other projects!

John and his folks have laid hardwood floors in 4 rooms in our house. They have also redone our kitchen counters. Their work has been professional, on time, and looks great!

SO glad that I found Southern Vintage - the hidden gem in Springhurst!! I wanted a barn wood mantle for my new house. I called and spoke with Sara. She gave me her cell phone number to text a picture of my fireplace/wall, then my floor while we were on the phone together, so that they could stain it to match. It’s stained Rustic Pine and matches perfectly!! It was installed yesterday and the gentleman that installed it and his helper couldn’t have been nicer- they took their time for me to pick exactly where I wanted it mounted, which side I wanted to show, etc. They put drop clothes down and vacuumed everything up!Overall great experience and I would recommend them to anyone. I know I’ll go back there for sure.

When doing business with this company please ask a lot of questions. We did not have a good experience. Listed below are some of the things to consider.Make sure the the color you chose is on the same type of wood they are showing you the color on in the show room.Ask them a lot of questions about how it is to look, who is going to the main point of contact at Southern Vintage, who is responsible, ask to speak to the installer before installation, have them send pictures before installation. Ask Southern Vintage if the installers have looked at the beam to determine how many people they are going to need to install the mantle, will ti requite 1, 2, 3 or 4 people? They make money on the installation of the wood beam mantle according to how much the installer was going to charge Southern Vintage. We wasted a lot of time waiting for these folks, so much that they promised to buy us dinner. Well you guessed it still waiting for the free gift card months later. After three attempts it is finally installed. My last recommendation is do not pay them until it is installed.

My wife and I couldnt be happier with our decision to do business with Southern Vintage! Everything about the experience went above and beyond. Ownership genuinely cares for each and every customer. From the installer to the finnish crew to the owner - all delivered on their promises. They arrived everyday - exactly when they said they would. Took it upon themselves to ensure the quality of work was done correctly yet still completed the job ahead of schedule! Amazing! Our floors look beautiful and the customer service was among the best Ive ever experienced. Just had to share some positivity!

Great company with great customer service and a really unique showroom! I love the family feel it has and how easy it was to work with them. They are very knowledgeable and I cant wait to go back and work with them again soon.

Im a professional woodworker and recently visited Southern Vintage. First, I will say they make, what looks to be, very good quality flooring. But thats it. They knew I was building a bathroom vanity yet attempted to sell me laminate flooring to build with. I then told them how many Board Feet of solid lumber I needed. Then they offered to cut all the vanity parts to size (according to the plans). You have to cut and measure as you go. Small errors are inevitable but can be dealt with by measuring and cutting as you go. Lastly, the price. I get that its 150+ year old lumber but $3500 for 50 BF of hickory is ridiculous. I got 64 BF from a lumber yard for $174.

Southern Vintage has a very impressive showroom and a good selection of quality products. I found the staff to be very professional and they also made great recommendations when they visited my home for measurements.

The worst customer service I have ever seen. I have no idea how they stay in business. They took my order 2 months ago.2 days after my payment they called back and said they made a mistake. They needed $755 more. I paid that. It went from 4 weeks to 6 weeks now 8 weeks.... The wood was promised to be delivered today. I paid my contractor to have a man waiting at my home all day. No calls, no wood. When I called here I got voice mail. No return call and still no wood. I tried their chat line and got no response.My opinion, they are at least lousy business people and maybe crooks !!!

I arrived at 320 on a Saturday. Door says open until 4 yet it was closed.
