This liquor store is my go-to, old reliable pal when Im in search of alcohol. Makes sense, but whats different about Fern Creek Party Center? Not exactly a ton, but they do have what many dont: consistency and selection. For years now, this Fern Creek liquor store has offered a solid variety of craft beers, which after turning twenty one several moons ago proved to be a bane and a privilege. Ive spent way too much money trying over 500 different six packs worth of craft beers that have come through the store, but Ive also been able to taste beer from all over the USA and world thanks to their rotating selection. I believe a couple of the workers are big beer guys, and they try to ensure that the most popular, the highest quality, and the diamonds in the rough beers make their way to their shelves. Of course, theyve got all your domestic beers too so dont worry youre covered.In terms of the hard alcohol/spirits selection, it appears to be thorough and features a ton of local Kentucky Bourbon. They have it all, from wine to whiskey to Vodka and from cheap to fancy. Whet your tongue with something from this fine establishment and support the neighborhood liquor store.

When ordering for delivery via Drizly, Fern Creek Party Center provides super fast service. I once placed an order after mowing the lawn. Jumped in the shower after placing the order. It was sitting on the porch waiting when I got out.

Update: moving my review to 3 stars; they called with something about Drizly “canceling” my order or whatever; they are fixing the situation 15 hours later. Still would not recommend overall.Original: REALLY ZERO STARS. Ordered through Drizly App for delivery at ~945p, got a call from the driver at ~10p saying on the way. The store is about 20 minutes from my house. Drizly tracks the driver so I watched them drive in the opposite direction to Shelbyville (30ish minutes away) and stay there for 2+ hours. They started driving back towards me and then past me to downtown Louisville and stayed there until past 2am; I fell asleep so not sure how long. I woke up this AM thinking maybe they will deliver, nope. At 11:45a they marked my order delivered and took my money. No contact from the driver, the store, or even Drizly. I’m out over $50 and no one is helping..

I walked in and the employees barley glanced at me. They definitely couldnt be bothered to say hello. They were too involved in their conversation. I guess I interrupted them when I was ready to pay for my items. The first and only thing the clerk said to me was my total. While my credit card was processing she picked up her cellphone and texted someone. Unbelievable!!! You are being paid. Customer service is your job.
