Needing to replace our travel toiletry bag, we drove by Taylor Trunk on a Sunday and thought wed drop in to see what the options were. When we walked in we were greeted by a very nice lady named Kathleen (I believe, but I could be wrong) who asked us what were were looking for. We told her we were finally going to retire our storied travel toiletry bag and were looking for a replacement. Our current bag was about 15 years old and has been to Italy, France, Spain, about a dozen Caribbean islands, Mexico, Central America, Canada, South America, Hawaii, and countless US cities. We want to replace it with one thats worthy of that kind of travel.(I just made a big to-do about a travel bag. Must be a slow news day)Anyhoo, Kathleen took us directly to the travel bags. They have a pretty decent selection and we immediately homed in on a certain bag that looked like it was going to the outgoing bag proud. The color options were black and plum. Normally Id go for black, but wifey was partial to plum.So we opened it up to see what it was about. We unsnapped the snaps, unzipped the zippers, and un-velcroed the velcro. It was a nice bag with a lot of compartments. And it was plum. (wifey won the color battle)The bag was an immediate fit, but we shopped around and chatted with Kathleen a bit more. She showed us other types of luggage and more colors than Id ever imagined. They have A LOT of great, quality luggage at Taylor Trunk, but with that comes prices tags on some of those things that kinda made me dizzy. We saw one piece of luggage that cost, literally, a weeks pay. Im more of a modest luggage buyer because it tends to get beat up pretty easily, but thats not to take away from their selection.But seriously they do have a fantastic selection of luggage at Taylor Trunk. Its all very nicely displayed and the staff can answer any question you have. Its a great place to shop for luggage.So off we go with our new travel bag. Where were going next we dont know (thanks COVID-19), but we can go with out brand new ... plum ... travel bag.

My husband and I havent traveled in quite some time, but recently we planned a trip and went to Taylor Trunk to upgrade all of our old luggage. After living in Louisville for my entire life, I knew exactly where to go. Taylor Trunk has always been know for their expertise in luggage and travel accessories, and I was very impressed with their selection as well as there helpful and knowledgeable stuff. I will definitely been coming back to Taylor Trunk to Christmas shop... now that we know they offer free gift wrapping!

Taylor Trunk is the place to go if youre looking for quality luggage!I have always bought cheap luggage in the past, and after a few flights it breaks or tears. I was taking my first international trip so I went into Taylor Trunk after a friend suggested it. Not knowing anything about luggage I walked in and was immediately greeted by the employees. I told them I wasnt sure what I was looking for, but told them my needs. They gave me many excellent options and helped me narrowed it down.I ended up with an amazing suitcase with a life time warranty! I will never shop anywhere else for luggage and recommend this store to all my friend and family!

They have a pretty good selection but prices tend to be higher than elsewhere. The lady who helped me was super friendly and helpful though

I love the colorful Vera Bradley line and TT always has the newest styles and best selection. Im also an avid traveler and I appreciate the top quality brands the store carries for luggage. Tumi and Briggs and Riley cannot be beat, and at TT you can walk right into the store and see which model fits you best. When you travel a lot like me, it is smart to invest in luggage that will stand the test of your many destinations. Light weight, durable, and best of breed materials. Sooo... Im kind of obsessed with this store. They were having a sale on their Briggs and Riley, and I got a deal better than anything I could find on the internet.I was being really indecisive, but Mary was patient and just let me do my thing until I picked a suitcase I liked. I came back to look at a toiletry bag a couple of days later and I got a lot of help to find the perfect one, for really cheap!Thank you ladies!!I asked about Eagle Creek bags, they currently have the no matter what duffel, and the packable duffel. They said they would be getting the carryon soon. Ill try to repost if I see them.
