The lady was so nice and the food was really good.
This was a place ive been waiting to open since last year and omg the foods far from my expectations. Everything is fresh an home made, nice long menu, an not a long wait. Ive been waiting for a mexican restaurant to open in the Lower Brownsboro area an i have now found my home. Ill be eating here forever
This is the real deal with great service and amazing food. I am hooked! Great addition to the neighborhood.
This place was fantastic, not a single bad taco. My new favorite taco spot for sure, dont miss out.
I had a wonderful taco salad. My date had fajitas.Awesome dining experience. The chips and salsa appetizer also came with warm refried beans.Nice little bonus. Will be back.
Wonderful food! Tried the chicken vegetable soup this time. Tasted great, and very filling! Definitely will be back.
Delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine. Made from scratch mole and some of the best tacos Ive ever had.
Love it..great food.Awesome people!! Fantastic service.Prices are very low for quality..which is best around here.
Delicious fast so good and they have a grocery store yes my favorite place to eat right now
Food was good tea was great but...4.99$ a piece for tea is just ridiculous if I go back Im stopping at McDonalds and get my tea for 1.00$ first
Great services! Good attention. Friendly and affectionate. Above all, excellent prices and products. Definitely visit LA BONITA TIENDA MEXICANA.
Dry and flavorless al pastor and asada tacos. Lacking even salt! Bland.
Great little neighborhood taqueria in Clifton/Clifton Heights. Super friendly hosts serve up authentic Mexican in a small but comfortable setting. While I typically stick to tripas and pastor, the chorizo is unlike anything ever seen, full of juicy chunks of pork sausage. Add a healthy dose of homemade salsa and a cold Fresca for a satisfying quick bite.
### CLOSED ###What a GREAT new find on Lower Brownsboro Road in Clifton! We went in for a quick bite on an impulse and my executive chef husband was BLOWN AWAY. Top notch quality and flavor to match! The freshness and clean eating factor topples the scale at La Bonita Tienda. Nope. That scale is broken.Something for everyone here! Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with specials on a chalkboard. Special diet peeps (vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free) can eat as well as meat-a-tarians. I have a limited diet and ate like a queen. The horchata, a sweet rice-milk drink over ice, really hit the spot after doing yard work. And since I always require guacamole, an appetizer was in order. Their insanely fresh guacamole is the perfect balance of tangy lime and cool cilantro with chunky avocado and bits of tomato and zippy, not-to-hot peppers. The tacos made me very happy. Better than my grandmothers tacos! Ok, she was a depression era, proper Bostonian of Irish decent who never ate a taco in her life, but IF she had ... I digress ... but corned beef would have made an appearance.I tried the flank steak, marinated pork, and chorizo tacos. They come with a sprinkling of duced onion, sliced radish and lime wedges on warm corn tortillas, the ultimate comfort food. The pork was my favorite because it had grilled pineapple with the meat.Use the house made green tomatillo sauce to bump up the heat or the red tomato sauce to add a little heat and lots of flavor. And, yes! They DO sell the sauces to go too!I miss the guac already! And dont forget the grocery store too! Im so glad Ive got authentic food and shopping in my neighborhood now!
Excellent food. Generous portions. Go there today!
We had chorizo and pastor tortas, was simple and quite good. We enjoyed a good lunch and would recomend.
Good food, friendly service, cute small grocery, decent prices
Worst place Ive ever ate at Im my life
This place is new and its a wonderful secret hole in the wall taco stand (that probably wont be a secret much longer!) .The horchata is the best Ive ever had, the asada tacos are amazing, the fajitas are super fast and piled high, the soups are massive and very tasty - look, this isnt a fusion cuisine place like luchador or migo, or a generic Mexican restaurant, its a super traditional Oaxacan place with very nice staff (be easy on them, most dont have a ton of English) and a very authentic feel. Very happy to have them in town!
A nice family restaurant, good food, good people,I recommend it...
Very friendly staff and delicious food.
Great for very authentic Mexican food.
Great food and friendly service
This place is amazing.
Friendly, good food, large portion
Great tacos!
Authentic and delicious
Awesome
I give the one star only because I have to give them something. Tacos are very overpriced, bad quality, they put way too much salt and the service very poor. Not going back.I give them a star because I have to give them something. Too expensive, very poor quality and super salty food. I do not plan to return anymore nor recommend anyone.
This place is legitimately in the top 3 true Mexican places in Louisville. The got everything you want for the most part. The food that we had: true Mexican style tacos. The flutes, horchata, rice, beans, pudding, three milks. Everything was straight out of the grandmother kitchen. This place is all we want in Mexican food. Horchata rich, the owner is like your grandmother, tacos de la calte, rich sauces (but not very spicy). Eat everything. I hope you have pozole next time. Of course if we return.
It is very cozy
Excellent everything very fresh and clean I love it
Very good
