Went here for the first time today 11/2/21 for the tres leches cake which is pretty good, but staff isn’t the most pleasant. I wasn’t greeted & the cashier didn’t say a word to me during checkout. I like to be acknowledged when I spend my $. Customers are the ones keeping businesses afloat. It won’t kill you to at least say hello or ask customers do they need assistance. Also there was a very strong weird smell. Not sure what it was, but I won’t be back.

This place is awesome. So many new foods to try! The fresh produce alone is worth the trip. The meat counter was great. Everyone was helpful and kind seemed like a real neighborhood place.

This is a very nice store. Its very clean with wide aisles and really good prices on everything. The meat department is beautiful with a wide range of beef, chicken, pork and seafood. This store has a bakery, meat department, ice cream parlor and restaurant with some of the best authentic Mexican food around. Pork or chicken tamales, chicken gizzards, fried tilapia, chicken wings? All cooked and ready to go in the meat department. Ask for Marco. Hes awesome.Do not hesitate to stop and shop or eat and rest your feet. You wont regret it.

Fruits sometime fresh, sometimes goes to waste, asking for help but seems like no one is speaking English there. Ok place

The supermercado is filled with pretty much a latino family needs but they only have one bathroom when they could have at least two bathrooms

I go here because is closer to my house and they usually have what Im looking for..but lately they have been out of the brand of tortillas I usually buy from them...and onother thing..is that the ladies on the registers are usually chatting to each other instead of ringing up the customers...and in my book..that is rude...I dont mind waiting..but...sometimes they leave the register and leave us waiting to go talk to each other...🤷‍♀️

Is not good, they should send flyers off their sales and they never do it so you never know when to go

Love this place, especially the one on Preston Hwy. Such a huge variety. Fresh fruit and vegetables, meats and many aisles of interesting foods. Ice cream shop, bread and pastry shop etc. Authentic cultural emporium that would satisfy a true foodie and/or cook. Great cooking utensils, clothes, home decor. And stop by the restaurant for a taco stop. No Taco Bell here folks!

So many tacos to choose from that I had to get a sampler.Today was my first attempt at beef tongue. Let me say, it was delicious. The texture was a bit chewy, but had all out flavor. I also went with a shrimp taco, chicken taco, chorizo, and a brisket taco. No complaints on any and they were more than enough food that I will have leftovers. I recommend trying the hot verde salsa, packed with flavor and sneaky heat. The hot roja salsa isnt as sneaky and let me know it wasnt playing around. This little restaurant is a hidden gem, inside the Mexican grocery store beside Beef O Bradys so keep eyes peeled and do yourself a favor and stop in.

I love this place. Such a wonderful place to explore and try something new. They have excellent tacos in their restaurant, so after shopping check them out. I was hungry and they did not disappoint! They have things you can’t get elsewhere. The store is an explosion of color and interesting products from Mx, Central and South America!

Went to get authentic Tacos...OMG so delicious. The store is super clean and well-stocked. The cleanliness and order of the store is far superior to stores like Kroger or Wal-Mart. We got 4 pastries for 3.98...and they are both huge and delicious. We will definitely be returning often. They also have a HUGE selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. This place is really worth the visit.

Aww, the smell of fresh food being made, everything I used to eat when I was a child and what I really loved the most was the Menudo. Perfect recipe no bad taste at ALL and the tortillas were fresh and hot

Its a Mexican grocery store, prices a little high, but they have a lot of options in fresh food. They have sals a pico de gallo fajita chicken with peppers in it and a lot others behind the case. They also have a restaurant in their store

Excellent supermarket. Great local specialties, a lot from Latin America obviously. But in general a great place with great value pricing.Butcher chop and fruit and vegetables is specifically good.Ample parking and convenient location.This is a bit smaller than the one on Preston, but alas convenient.

Easily the nearest and cleanest grocery store Ive ever been in. A great selection from the butcher as well as the produce. Excellent pricing and in house made chiccarones, chips, salsa, and more.

Tacos have been raised to 2.49. Still delicious. Call ahead if you can my order of 6 tacos took 18 minutes. No other customer was even there

Awesome place, you can find a lot of products that usually no one store has, the fruits and vegetables are super fresh, the meat its very tasty, the restaurant is very good, and the sauces.... Super hot. The staff its most of the times super friendly and is always smiling(except by the guy who puts vegetables, he is kind of rude). Overall, you have to go there.

This is my new must shop at place. From the first time walking through the door and smelling the spices and the food cooking in the back, next to the meat department. The store is very clean and has an old world feel to it. The meat department is like an old time butcher shop. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I live in PRP and I will make the drive to Fern Creek to shop here!

This is a very nice Mexican grocery store/butcher shop. The items are almost exclusively written in Spanish, so be prepared. At least however, Gringos arent frowned upon shopping here as it sometimes is for me at other places. Yeah, thats a thing. I love all the different spices available and am crazy about being able to buy the same stuff that I eat at area Mexican restaurants!

Fantastic array of meats at a great price. The pastries are amazing. My kids love the in-house guacamole, Spanish rice and tamales.

This Supermarket is not practicing social distancing! No 6 feet marker on the floor between each customer a woman brought cookies fresh-baked unwrap.And the cashier touch the cookies and bag them with his bearhands just second before he was touching a calculator holding pencil.Worker our not wearing any P.P.E and not following the CDC Guidelines for it customersPlease follow the Guidelines

What a great find! Great prices, amazing selection in produce and cheese/dairy for such a small space. Grabbed a plain churro from bakery, it was great.

This is a great place to get some variety of Mexican and Latin American food items. I mostly get sweet bread, (Pan Dulce, Moletes, Conchas), and hot sauce or jalapenos.

The chicken smelled foul, and the meats were sitting at room temp. They were friendly, but truly disturbing food care. The other supermercado on prestin highway is great. I go there 3 times a week best gorditas and tacos. But not bardstown location. My car smelled of rotten meat on drive home. I could not eat the chicken i had purchased from bardstown location.

I got a mangonado here and a Cuban lady made it with milk ice cream because the mango ice cream was “too hard” and we corrected her and she said she was to busy to fix it. Never get ice cream here.

I had Guanajatos once on Preston Highway a few years back, and I recalled it being super authentic. Well, this one opened up on Bardstown Road in Fern Creek and Im now a regular. The.food.is.AMAZING. The Gorditas are phenomenal and very well portioned. In fact, all their selections are generously portioned. The burritos (HUGE) are covered in cheese and come with fries. The tortas are massive and delicious. The tacos are nice. The staff is friendly, and I am glad that Fern Creek has a true Latino tienda in its midst. Bienvenidos a Fern Creek Guanajuatos. Ojalá que sean super exitosos en este lugar, gracias para la comida buena y servicio amigable.
