I had an appointment for a delivery and set up of a bed. They called twice to verify my morning appointment. The day of delivery, I took off work so I would be home. I make about $250 a day. At 1:10pm I called Global Couriers and they told me that they will not be at my home until later this evening. They changed their route so that I will be the last dropped off and the item setup. It’s now 6:30 at night and still nothing. I’ve lost a day off work and now I’m sitting around waiting for a company that thinks I’m not important enough to be here even somewhat close to our appointment time. I called to see where they were at they said they were not coming at all because it would now be too late. They didn’t even have the courtesy to call and let me know they were not coming. They said it would have to be tomorrow. Now I have to take a second day off of work. When I tried to explain my frustration I was yelled at by the manager and told that they have been doing this for 30 years. They attempted to blame the company I purchased my product from. However, they verified twice they had the product and that it would be delivered today between 8a.m and 1p.m. When I spoke with the company I purchased the product from they were disgusted and deeply apologized that this contracted company has done such a poor job.
