Id give them zero stars if I could. Animal Cruelty at its finest. Different animals are housed together and the place is just disgusting. Poor animals need to go to a shelter. Do not buy from them! Lets bring this place down.

Good riddance to an unclean and unethical shop. We stopped in to save two rats from these conditions. The rodents were being sold as both live reptile food and pets. Not a good practice. The puppies are kept in cramped and uncleanly pens. The reptiles and fish were listless, underweight and looked very ill. One bearded dragon in particular looked like it needed immediate veterinary help. The entire shop was covered in a thick layer of grime and filled to the brim with an offputing sent.

We are so happy with our beautiful Golden Retriever puppy purchase we made today. Our experience was excellent. I am so tired of all of the fake reviews targeting good businesses. Today my wife and I and our 2 children went into this store after a failed attempt at getting a rescue dog from a shelter. The shelter dog seemed to be abused, neglected and completely traumatized. It was also very ill. The dogs in this store were the complete opposite. They were happy, playful, clean and looked to be in great health. The owner took extra time to tell us about our dog and the other dogs he had available. He truly cares about his animals and it shows. Please stop reading all of the negative reviews and check this place out for yourself. You might just find your next best friend!

The girls are great at taking care of the animals, had some nutty woman trying to get to the back of his store. I asked if I could help her?She was very concerned about the pets. There were two outside to go potty, while the kennels are cleaned. Stupid lady freaked out and started a protest down there.She ignored what we were telling her. The dogs are not left out all alone with no supervision. They take great care of the animals. Im not sure what her deal was, maybe she just has too, way too much time on her hands.For that Psycho I just wanted to say Get a hobbyIf youre so concerned about the animals, I suggest that you buy some property or rent and start your own pet store. See how easy it is. I really have no tolerance for STUPID PEOPLE.Mind your own business!Better yet go down there and apply for a position, that way you could help out and give your input. I am very glad to hear this place is closing. I have always avoided going in to the shop. Just because of everything I have heard. But my wife and I wanted to go check it out to see if it was all true. We also wanted to pick up an animal for we where worried what would happen to some of the remaining rats they had. Some of the most concerning things where, the state of many of the animals. The place was filthy. The bearded dragon appeared to be in a lot of distress and discomfort. And the fact that we where asked if we wanted the rats as feeders or as pets was very concerning. Pet rats should not also be sold as feeders or vice versa. The only reason we gave them any money is because of the concern for the animals and that since they are closing that money will not go twords them buying more animals and subjecting them to that torture.

His replies to these reviews are answered with absolute ignorance and shows his true colors. The poor animals that are kept here are in awful conditions, with the puppies being kept in tiny cages with more than 2 of them per a cage, it look and smells like the animal cages and shop itself hasnt been clean in decades. The animals look miserable and sick. I bought a pet rat from here, the very rude man, told me that my rat was a male when I bought it, only to find out it was a female. Its your job to know, and to disclose the correct information! If you are looking to buy a pet or even look around, DO NOT COME HERE!!! Save yourself time and money. I bought my puppy here in 2012. She’s always been healthy and strong. She’s my world, my best friend and I feel lucky to have found her. I do agree with others the store is extremely dusty and dirty. The dogs are kept in a small space.

I purchased dogs from this store on 2 different occasions 5 and 6 years ago. Although the store was dusty the dogs were well cared for and healthy. Weve had absolutely no health issues with both dogs. They are the best dogs weve ever owned. I used to breed Siberian Huskies.

This place is disgusting. The owner is asking thousands for these dogs. They are kept in a tiny room with no sunlight and no space to move. There is a mastiff in there that is almost a year old and has probably spent his life in a tiny crate. There was also a bulldog who had an infected eye. What the hell is this owner thinking?? This is animal abuse.

The store owner is not charismatic for sure, but he knows a lot about the aquatic part of his establishment. Ive bought fish and aquarium plants from every pet store in town, and the only ones that are healthy and have survived came from Town & Country. A+ As for the rest of the living things there, if I were in the market for a puppy I would never buy from a pet store. Puppies need space and other puppies - they are pack animals. Buy from a breeder who provides that environment, or go to the Humane Society and adopt.

This is a true pet store! Individual aquariums stocked properly. There are amazing reptiles and high quality puppies in the back. The owner is a no-nonsense guy who will tell it to you straight.

Bought a inbred German shepherd puppy from here years ago and it had to be put down at a year old. You have your tortoises listed as wood tortoises their Russians. I felt sick after visiting this place. Fish tanks were disgusting, cats were in cages fit for a much smaller animal without any bed, dogs were and puppies were in tiny little areas in the back. I havent stopped thinking about how awful I feel for these animals.

The only reason I would buy ANYTHING would be to save them. This place is a hell hole. I keep live plants in my 45 gallon fish tank, my 3 gallon and my 1.5 gallon, and I keep my fish beyond healthy and happy. Whoever runs this store has no experience in pets- or cleaning for that matter. Go to a wonderful and clean and healthy place such as The Fish Crew or Petco. But this? This is hard to look at. Owners responses on these reviews are overly friendly, but in real life, he is highly unfriendly. If you are reading this and contemplating a visit, do not go. It is disturbing.

I was looking for a puppy and figured I would give this little pet shop some business... NEVER will I go back. The owner of this place is very rude and is not out for the best interest of any of those puppies. If you are wanting to look around and make sure that the puppy is the right fit for you... do not come here. If you tell the owner that you want to go home and talk about it or if you tell him that you are wanting to make sure it is a good fit, he will all but pick you up and throw you out. Because of the poor customer service, we will HAPPILY buy a dog from another place or breeder... we would have taken a puppy home today if it werent for that guys terrible service. He wants those puppies in and out as fast as possible and doesnt care what home they go to. once you pay for that dog, its out of his hands and hes happy as can be. This place reminds me of the country pet stores I use to visit in the 80s.I have been looking everywhere for a male Basset hound,so I called and spoke with owner,he was so kind and informative. I made the long drive up there and found my baby.Couldnt be happier. I have worked with and had dogs all my life, and this dog is a happy puppy.So its hard to read the bad reviews about a rude owner or the dogs are mistreated. Definitely not my experience!

Im a little amazed that this place stays open as the conditions seemed far too cramped and dirty for any creature to comfortably or happily live there. My heart broke looking at the puppies shoved together in a tiny room. I didnt find the owner as rude as most people seemed to, but definitely a little odd. I truly hope either the conditions improve drastically or someone steps in to help these creatures. The prices, while obscenely high, were the least of my concern in comparison to how the animals were being kept.

My husband and I brought our daughter to this place to look at puppies. We walk in the old man sitting at the front did not say one word to us. We looked around and in the back was the puppies. Immediately he and a women approached us, not in the most friendly matter. I asked if we can look at the dogs, he said here is a list of the dogs we have you can not look at the dogs unless your serious about buying, which we were. We were not shopping for a specific breed of dog and wanted to see if there was one that jumped out at us. How do you expect anyone to buy a puppy if they can have no interactions with the dog. This man was very rude and has no sense of good customer service. This place is dusty and filthy. I feel bad for the animals at this place and how he stays open is beyond me. We left and will never go back to this place.

Friendly staff and well kept animals. I go there for snake food and always take a peek at the reptiles. Their skin looks healthy from the right temperature and humidity.

We bought a puppy three months ago. So far, he seems to be healthy. One word about the owner/salesman: he is as rude as the posts say, and he wont go out of his way for you once hes made a sale. For the amount of money I spent here, I would have thought he would have treated me better. I guess hes not into repeat sales or his business growing from word of mouth. I wont be back! I am hoping that he at least cares enough about the lovely animals he sells, and we wont have any future health issues with our new little guy.

I didnt realize there were so many pet store owner in the comments section! Everyones an expert. I see many people wondering why its so dusty... maybe because the animals are all bedded in shredded paper or wood chips.... they could have the place spotless in the morning and it will be covered in a layer of fine dust by noon. This place is absolutely disgusting. Fish tanks so dirty you cant even see what is in them. Dust and dirt everywhere it felt like I was walking through a barn. The puppies which are all kept in a small area in the back (puppy mill style) are all overpriced to an insulting level. I dont know how places like this are allowed to exist. Ive worked in overcrowded shelters before and have smelled many a smells that puppies can create and I assure you these smells from this place ARE NOT NORMAL. This place is nothing more than a glorified puppy mill with no personal responsibility and the only positive comment coming from a woman who hasnt stepped foot in there for over 18 years. I purchased a pet from this store. She was full of worms and had been very neglected per my vet. Another dog has mange and has been neglected to the point where he is a dwarf. I asked my vet to please adopt the poor dog and save him but the pet store is asking an unreasonable price for a dog who is sick and will have serious health issues in the future. This pet store has been reported numerous times but nothing is being done. I don’t know what to do to save these defenseless animals.

Town and Country Pet store:NEVER go here. The man that owns the place is manipulative, and will steal your money from you. He lets his animals live in conditions that are unsanitary and cramped. On top of that, his prices are ridiculously high.The man that owns it is also a pervert. I would catch him looking at me inappropriately and would always cut devin off to talk to me. This man is at least 60. He has stolen my money for cheap animals that wouldnt live past a day and would not refund me. He also would tell you what you want to hear just so youd come back. Old school style pet store - Very knowledgeable owner - sells pets responsibly. Would highly recommend it, but know before you go that it is a little tiny cluttered store teaming with life - if you buy a pet from them, you will also walk away knowing how to truly take great care of your new family member.

I also had a terrible experience at this shop. My 10 year old daughter and I entered this mess and found kittens with mange. We felt horrible leaving after the clerk, maybe owner, mistreated one kitten and also wanted to charge $525.00 for him. We were heartbroken for the animals in this place. I reported to the BBB, but I see that after many years of complaints they are still in business somehow. Maybe for the most part, to sell mice for consumption by reptiles.

He buys from puppy mills and sells them for average 1200.The cages are plastic, dirty and overcrowded. The animals have no natural light. They are crammed in the back of his store in a dark place. My boyfriend and I went in to look at the fish in the store we walked around for nearly ten minutes disgusted at the state of their tanks, when I heard from the back two woman talking about how they hurt a puppy by picking it up to fast, they finally came out to greet us just as we were ready to run for the hills. The animals conditions are not met, even if I were a first time pet purchaser I would have known better.

I stopped in the store to look for a dog coat for a medium sized dog. I was greeted at the door and the young woman showed me where the coats and sweaters were, but thats the only thing positive I can say about the store. From the minute I walked in the door, I was trying to identify the awful combinations of smells. When I looked at the coats, one of the plastic bags containing a coat broke apart in my hands. They were covered in dust and something grimy. I walked to the back of the store where the animals were and there was dirty tank after dirty tank. The dogs and cats had clean litter, but there was an awful smell. The owner was really rude to me, saying that unless I was buying today he had a lot of work to do after just receiving a load of puppies and basically shuffled me out the door. I would never buy something here out of fear of what I was supporting!

The owner was rude. He asked multiple times if I would take a cat home if I fell in love, and when I said maybe, he outright asked if I had money to buy a cat today. When I said I didnt want the cat, he roughly handled him and said shes not the right one to the cat. Not a great sales technique. The animals are cramped- especially the dogs. Some of them were just motionless covered in wood chips, probably because its hot in the small room and there isnt room to move around.Edited to add: he implies that I was high, drunk, or mentally unfit or that I offered money. I dont drink, or get high, and am generally mentally fit, (whatever this means) and never offered to buy one of his overpriced pets.

I went in and wouldnt let me look at the puppies and whenever I tried he was rude and said if I wasnt going to buy a puppy that day to leave. I wasnt allowed to even see then but when I did there were 5-6 puppies in a pen. The overall shop was dark, dusty and wasnt in the best condition. We had gotten my grandma a dog there 7 years ago and the shop was still dirty and dusty. When we chose the dog he left to a different part of the store. We had waited for 30 minutes before he came back to ring us up. Also the animals and products sold there are overpriced. So if anything do your eesresea before you go into the shop since he wont help you much. Or adopt from a rescue.

Bought some rats from here 2 weeks ago, he said they had no upper respiratory problems, which was a lie. Theyve been sick since I bought them and theyre both dead even though I put them on antibiotics. Also thought it was really strange that the guy said he doesnt allow people to play with the puppies because theyll get confused.

Bought my dog from here a few months ago and absolutely adore him and is healthier than ever . Upsetting to see such negative reviews and wish they would drop prices to get people to buy here so the animals are bought faster and treated better .

Had a really good experience here. Was really shocked to see all the reviews of Mark being rude. He was very friendly and helpful in getting me a pet cockatiel when no other stores in northern Colorado had them. He didnt have any currently in stock but with one phone call to his supplier he was able to get me the bird I wanted in only 2 days!!! I guess I can see how he could be less friendly if youre just there browsing and not serious about buying anything. The only bad things I could say is that yes the store is a little small and cramped.

Was an odd store but I got one of my pomeranians there and she is 100% healthy and happy. Found out she also has the same parents as my one of my other pomeranians. She is 3lbs and is amazing.

The poor pup we wanted to see had green goo coming out of its eye. There was actually a used and open needle, yes a HYPODERMIC NEEDLE sitting out where anyone aged toddler and up couldve grabbed it next to a bird cage...and it had been there awhile, there was dust on it.Please do yourself and your family a favor and do not patronize this establishment.

The owner was a jerk 20 years ago when I first visited his run down puppy mill outlet. He was a jerk 10 years ago when I asked why a full grown cat was being kept in a cage where it couldnt even lay down. And he was a jerk on my last visit when he made it clear that I was wasting his time by my just looking. I have to give this place credit, its consistent. Its consistently dirty and the owner is consistently rude. Whether it be a substance abuse or dissociative behavior issue, its sad hes been allowed to put animals into such deplorable conditions and act as caregiver when its so obvious he doesnt care.

Came in once because I saw the sign for puppies and I love looking at puppies and one German shepherd they have thats about one year old is super skinny and desperate for attention. Its obvious the rest of the puppies are desperate for attention too, when they saw me tbru the dog they started screaming... Walked in, cash in hand, ready to buy a baby Boston terrier and then the owner opened his mouth... horrible customer service. He should really hire someone to do the selling part of his job. He needs to stay locked in an office away from customers. We walked out without purchasing a puppy. I dont recommend anyone shop here. After all these years in business you would think the owner would have developed superb people skills. Just horrible!! Hes missing out on a lot of sales just by opening his mouth.

Make sure you have pet insurance before you buy an overpriced puppy from this place. We just bought the cutest Shiba Inu and shes been so sick since we brought her home that she barely gets around on her own. And now Im having to spend more money on vet bills that could have been avoided. Also, this place is not clean and stinks.

Went in just to look heard bad things about this place wanted to see my self how bad it was and its terrible the owner didnt seem friendly at all. The fish tanks were full of algae and the tanks werent clean at all. Some of the easier to take care of reptiles looked okay their tanks were dirty there was some co hab going on with animals that werent compatable one of the bearded dragons looked extremely ill and the reptiles didnt have proper hides or lighting or humidity to keep them healthy. And alot of the reptiles were extremely over priced you are better off buying an animal from pet co or petsmart and their animals arent cared for the best. Definstly would not reccomend buying from this poop shack.

This place was shite. I buyed a lizard and they said I had to get a cage and food for it, outrageous! I bought it anyways and two days later the lizard died! They know nothing of what they are doing or anything about common sense.

I purchased my beautiful (expensive) Maltese puppy there a few years ago and she has been the best puppy ever but when we got her she was matted, full of wood chips and living in a fish tank with 4 other puppies! It broke my heart and still does knowing she was there with this man! If I could have taken all these dogs I would have! We went back a month ago because my kids wanted to look at the puppies and we were in town so we stopped by. The owner once again was very creepy and the place smelled so horrible it burned our noses. We asked to see the German Shepards and they were so skinny and malnourished it broke our hearts. This place needs to be shut down! There should be no reason for these poor animals to be living in this filth! If anyone goes there and see the same thing please file a complaint with PACFA!! Owner is extremely rude. Accused us of not being serious costumers because we wanted a day to discuss which dog was suited for us. Was going to come back and adopt the puppy but after the owners rude comments we will not be returning.

I purchased a whites dumpy tree frog here several years ago. When I went in looking for one, the owner pointed at the plexiglass square tank he was in. Sadly, I cldnt even see the frog from the outside, because the tank was so clouded and green from algae, and the frog was stuck to the underside of the tank lid, trying to absorb as much heat as possible from the fluorescent lightbulb above the tank. (Good for plants, not suitable heat for frogs). On the way home, the frog was trying desperately to eat the crickets in the separate bag, as I realized the frogs bones were sticking out, and far too skinny!!! He was starving!!! The owner said the feed him 2x weekly with 2-3 crickets. Clearly, this was not enough for this animal. I had him 5 years and he passed away. I don’t know what he passed away from, as I took great care of him, and feel like I rescued him from this place. Several years later, I rescued a hedgehog from this place. The owner said not to handle him with my hands, and used a dog food scoop to pick the hedgehog up since he was so unfriendly, and sold me the scoop to use at home. He was still a young one when I got him, but had not been socialized what so ever. He was the worse pet I ever had. He hated everyone and everything!!!! I never got to play with him, because he was so unfriendly. The store is small, disgusting with dust and cobwebs all over, the tanks are green and gross, the pvc built areas for the dogs are way too small, and the owner is rude. Never go here, and don’t waste your money.

The owner is a fish guru! He has helped me every time I have had issues with my fish or tanks. He recently helped me save a 12 year old gold fish that had already survived the traumas of the 2013 Colorado flooding.I have purchased fish from other pet stores only to have them die within a day and even kill other fish in the tanks they were added to.I am willing to pay the higher costs for even feeder fish from this store, knowing that adding them to my existing tanks will not be detrimental. I recently lost a Plecostomus after eight years (which I purchased here); Im off to get another from them.

Poor animals, the fish tanks look unmaintained and the fish look stressed, both salt and fresh. There is a clearly stressed Quaker parrot that has a plucking problem, who wouldny having a borring life in a barren cage with out much food to eat. The rodent area smelled so bad I couldnt enter it. And the reptiles were mislabeled

Ive never physically been inside, but Ive seen many pictures of the filth, and neglect that this place is. The fish tanks are absolutely filthy, the space provided for all the animals is miniscule, and there are many animals all kept together in such a small place which causes the animals to start protraying maladaptive behavior, which is never good. From what Ive heard from many different people is that the owner is incredibly rude to customers, and abusive towards the animals that he sells, Ive been told he beats and kicks, starves, the animals, and no water is provided. This place is no place for any animal. Please contact news stations, and business bureaus, get this place shut down, and help these animals.

This is a puppy mill shop and has very little else. I dont buy overpriced puppies.

Neat little shop, but not very friendly. Was in search of bottom feeder fish and when we mentioned a specific fish type the man was quick to make us feel stupid then tell us we were out of luck. Super weird and awkward situation.

Do not buy any animals from here! The owner is very rude and doesn’t take good care of the animals! The fish tanks and the tanks the turtles are in are filthy. You can’t see any of the fish because of the dark green water. The reptiles look almost dead. Snakes didn’t have the proper humidity or anything, a chameleon didn’t have anything to climb it broke my heart seeing him laying on the floor and he looked so skinny. Puppies are just in a little area and you aren’t allowed to see them unless you are serious about buying. They all look very sick and most people say that they die or get really sick. Everything is also VERY overpriced. The place smells horrible and is very dusty. It’s so sad to see all these animals sick and most of them probably die right away. The owner only cares about the money not the animals. I once bought 2 guinea pigs from there and they both died a week later. I will never go there again. It needs to be shut down.

Ive always passed by this place, and decided to finally go in. At first everything looks good, A lot to choose from. Then I took a closer look at the animals there and some of them are not in the best of shape.(Not all of them) I was looking at the reptiles and saw a female veiled chameleon curled up on the ground in the corner of the tank (in the wrong set up, and had a water bowl instead of dripper), she was barely breathing. I alerted the employee and got a rude response and they also tried to tell me it was normal and she was okay. He asked me multiple times if I was actually shopping around or not. I was but the way the employee treated me was really off putting and didnt want to be in there anymore. I wanted to buy /rescue her and they refused to sell me the odd ones. I really hate giving local shops bad reviews but this was a mess of a situation. I was extremely close to calling animal protection services. I know yall are gonna respond to this but Im voicing out the things that I saw and how I was treated. Im not here to bash your business Im just here so maybe something can change.

I have never had a bad experience at Town and Country pet store. The owner and staff have always been helpful and nice.

This place is awful, basically animal abuse. Majority of the dogs are ill and need veterinarian care. The kittens are kept in a bird cage, and many of the other animals are too crowded in cages or already are dead. The owner is rude and ignorant. This place needs to be shut down.

Best selection of rats. Bought a very healthy, very sweet rat for my kiddos 6 months ago.

Owner keeps way too many dogs in way too small of a place. I hope he steps on legos every time he has to use the bathroom during the night. Also store is absolutely disgusting. I hope this place gets shut down for animal cruelty.

Is there a negative star? This place was horrible! My daughter and I went for the first time and left in tears. The owner is cold-hearted and obviously cares nothing about these animals. The conditions were terrible. The ferrets had no toys or water. The tanks were green with floating dead fish in them. The poor dogs were in these tubs and cages with no beds or toys. They were very over crowded and the dogs looked miserable. The owner wouldnt let us even pet or play with any of them because it wasnt worth his time since we werent serious buyers. The whole place is dark and dirty and way overpriced. I am heartbroken that a pet store owner could be so cruel to these animals. If I could have I would have adopted all of them.

Terrible. Went in to look and maybe buy, but the fish conditions are not good to bring into my community tank, and the owner is not at all nice and does not know how to manage a store. Clean it up, and make it less cramped. Clean your tanks, take care of your animals. Absolutely abismal. Close this store.Fix your store.

The owner broke my rats leg when we bought him, his leg was caught in the wheel and he just yanked the poor little guy out and snapped his leg): he was terrified of people for months. The owner also told me how to care for my new rat, as I hadnt had one before, and actually told me to do serveral things that could have killed him.The fish tanks are gross the animals are malnutritioned and there is not enough space for the amount of puppies there is. I remember growing up people would say that he had dead puppies in the back. Not saying that is true but when that is what the rumors have been for a decade you gotta know its pretty bad for people to believe something like that. This place is honestly cruel and should have been shut down a long time ago.

Ah yes, town and country. Everyones always giving this place a hard time, I hear so many complaints about how the owner is rude, how the store smells, how product is dusty, how the conditions of the animals could be better, and how animals bought from here either get seriously sick or outright die when you bring them home. The owner, I can see him as a bit rude, but that doesnt bother me too much, old timer just trying to make a living. The smell? Again, doesnt bother me, it honestly could be better but its smelled like that every time Ive been in the store so it doesnt really concern me a lot. The product? Ive only ever been in there for the animals, never buy anything non-living. The animals living conditions? this I take slight issue with, especially with the aquatic and semi-aquatic ones. fish tanks, turtle tanks, any tank with a substantial water source, the water is so green with algae and whatever else that it really makes me question wether or not the guy cleans the tanks out to begin with. And the animals getting sick? Let me spin you a tale of my first experience with this place. The year was two thousand and nine. I just finished the fourth grade, and for getting the best grades I had ever gotten up at that point of my life my parents decided to reward me with my first pet, a turtle. Went into the shop, picked out a red eared slider, and took it home. I decided to name him Gamera, after the giant flying fire breathing turtle monster of Japanese film. And a few days, at most a week after we brought him home, he developed some kind of fungus. Dont know what kind it was, but when he swam it almost looked like he had white hair growing between the scales of his legs. We tried to get rid of it, but it persisted, and perhaps a month after I got Gamera, he died. Found him floating in his tank. Burried him in the back yard, went to Petco, bought a couple red ears from them, and then lived happily ever afterNow after that sad tale Im sure the owner is going to be responding to this review with the same generic we take good care of our animals, the animal probably died because you did this or didnt do that or everything youve said is just one huge lie/misunderstanding response that he gives almost everyone else. If he wants to, he can. But everyone else here with similar experiences knows exactly what Im talking aboutTo the owner, Im giving your store a three star rating for the time being. I plan to come in sometime in the relatively near future to buy another animal. If you dont have the particular kind of animal I want, no huge deal, Ill leave my rating as is, and I may come in another time to see if youve gotten it or something else I might be interested in. They had half of what I needed. The place is very outdated and the habitats look to need cleaning and up keep.

I came in today with my daughters. I gave a 4 because the truth is youve honestly outgrown the building it could use and update or addition. It didnt impare the health or happiness of the pets. The cats were some of the friendliest and happiest Ive seen and Ive been looking for a couple months. I did find your prices a little higher then reasonable on the cats I looked at comparitively. I was sad to not bring the kitty I wanted home! All the animals we saw were happy and healthy from the turtle munching carrots to the puppies in the back pens. I also hear everyones pets from here live long happy lives. My sister bought a cat 8 years ago and it is still and happy healthy kitty.

I got a iguana and she let it get loose and we spend 15 minutes trying to get it and she grabbed it by its tail and the end of the tail came off

Lets put it this way, the owner of the store is thinks he is too high and mighty to relate to a customer. He pushes you to buy anything you are looking at and WILL NOT stop until you leave the store and get all angry that you even came in and didnt purchase anything. I may have purchased something accept the owner feel like a vulture hanging over my shoulder plus I was looking at box turtle and one was dead! Not only was there a dead turtle in a more than unsanitary and wrong conditions, but they had an iguana in with them which had nothing to climb up on so it kept thrashing its tail around in anger and hitting all the poor turtles that could not escape this torturous environment. Birds in the store that are so neglected that they are ripping out all their own feathers. Nothing in the store is clean and resembles an old storage area. And last but not least, the oder of death as you walk in to the creepy place. I am truly surprised this place has not been shut down due to the condition of these animals!

Bought my puppy about a month ago. I don’t reccomend getting your dogs from here. My dog has been sick with Giardia this whole time, gone through three meds and onto the fourth now, and now he has cysts from it. Getting your puppies from puppy mills is wrong for a reason. Glad I got him out of this hell hole. On top of him being sick with Giardia for almost months now, this girl working inside was like 16 years old... & gave me papers claiming they dewormed him, my ass.... my golden came back with worms and Giardia. Thankful I’ve paid for him to be dewormed the right way in a healthy living condition just praying to god the Giardia goes away since he came from a puppy mill in Nebraska.So thankful I saved him from this horrible place.
