Best food store in my part of Colorado. clean knowledge able staff very help full. far better then other stores

Honestly the dirtiest and saddest Safeway Ive ever been to. This shop is long overdue for a remodel. The folks working there were totally fine and obviously dont have any control over how rundown the building is.Corporate Safeway! What are you doing??

First time going into this Safeway and wow! There were like 8 people in the whole store and pretty dead. Definitely go on Sundays when a game is going on.

This Safeway is in a really bad way. I feel really bad for the employees that are assigned to work this store! This store is so dirty and old and had very little stock and very little selection. It is like Corporate Safeway left this store to die. This store desperately needs a remodel!! And store security.

They have a few good deals. The staff is very helpful and great atmosphere.

This is the worst Safeway in town! They State they strive to provide their customers great experience and superb service, those statements are very inaccurate... There is no help/employees when needed and when you check out you get people like Becca that are very discourteous and seem to have little to no customer service skills.Restructure is needed at this particular store - Starting with HR to make sure this store has the proper hired help needed to provide the superb service they wished they had.

Nice grocery store, very well stocked with a variety of all items reasonably priced. The staff was very kind, and helped me get set up with a membership and showed me how to get all the deals on the app

They always seem to have the better deals from the other two Safeways in Loveland.

I stopped at the Loveland store because the meat dept is so good....didnt disappoint however I am concerned that the homeless people continuously loitering are not great for business. It appears like people have chosen to shop elsewhere, 5 cars in the parking lot at 5pm

Old school and local Safeway. Everything we need, but it was strangely laid out. Looking for bottled water, it wasnt with large bottled water, it wasnt with other water and we found this with a few products. They werent grouped together. We survived, the staff was super nice and friendly.

Pretty poorly run place. Standing here by the cash register with missing tiles and dust swept up against the wall.Picked up a package of chicken breast only for it to trickle juice down my arm. Grab another chicken breast.. same thing. All of them are wrapped around in plastic with openings at the bottom, dripping bird juiceIn the alcohol section. Pick up a package of Peroni beer - ALL the beer falls out the bottom of the cardboard and rolls over the floor.I dont normally Karen stores like this, but this experience stood out.EDIT: I have to update this. THE INSIDE OF BY BACKPACK IS COVERED IN CHICKEN JUICE. Bought a roasted bird supposedly contained within a bag - these bags are not water tight whatsoever.This place sucks. Ill bike another 1.5 miles down the road to king Soopers every time.

Again I cant mention enough how a company that is large makes you feel like your in a small town market. Hats off and kudos to the people at all three local Safeways that Loveland has. There doing a very good job

Went to pickup a doordash and some employee rudely yells at me that they are closed as Im walking up to the building. I explain I was just assigned a doordash order and he says were closed no exceptions. I understand that you are closed but no need to yell and be rude someone who hasnt even said a word to you yet.

Never enough cashiers and a bunch of shady looking people and homeless people hanging around the building and parking lot.The customer at the register next to me asked if they had jugs of tea in a cooler, when the Grocery Manager who was cashiering said it would be in the cooler at the back of the store (you could see the said cooler from the register if you looked down the aisle). When the customer said can we go check, the manager replied well, Im leaving so if you get out of line to check, youll have to go to another register..... the other register had 6 people in the line because he never turned his light on to let the customers know there was more than one register open.Another time, 15 customers in 2 lines and 3 manager/employees were at the service desk showing each other their phones and leaning on the counter like there was nothing to do.Very poor customer service.

Staff is Friendly, store is clean, stocked and never too busy.

I dont have trouble finding what I want. Also any of the workers there can tell where to find what i want

This store is really old. In the lines were kind of long the day that I went. Theres a lot of homeless people that hang around the parking lot and made me feel really unsafe about my vehicle being out there. Theres a pretty rough hotel across the street which explains a lot. I ate from the deli there in the food was good its just the atmosphere I had a problem with this being the reason that I would give it three stars.

Their produce is beautiful, and the employees are very friendly. They have some great sales, and its a wonderful place for single-serve desserts. We enjoy shopping here.

I shop off and on at Safeway, the downtown store. There was a time when I stopped as I didnt feel safe because of a large transient problem and the store became run down. Then in a hurry I stopped in there and the store was rearranged and clean and always someone around to help. On the way out I realized there was no longer a transient situation and I felt safe. So I now shop there often as it is close to where I live. Their produce department and the meat department are very good. And their sale prices are also very good. The employees are friendly and helpful. And I notice there are many more customers these days.

Just went to this Safeway to get a 2 liter of coke all I had was change I had 50 cents on a card and the rest in dimes when the cashier totales me out I said gotta pay in change no response I than said I need to do 50 cents on my card and the rest in change... Now yes I understand the odd request for only running 50 cents on a card. After this request she pused asked me to be sure 50cents? I said yes she then Proceeded to Laugh at the request and in return me while running my 50 cent request. Now again I understand the odd request but this person dose not know my situation or anything about me. I feel she is out of line laughing at this.

Nicely laid out and stocked, for the most part, and COVID-aware aisle and checkout floor decals. It pays to be a member, as there are plentiful club specials clearly marked. Whats not to like?

This store is old, run down and needs a serious overhaul! ! They need more power carts for all the seniors and handicapped people that come into the store to shop!! They need to remove to mold/mildew that is stinking up the whole store or figure out what the smell is that is in the whole building!

Love this store and always shop there.I really didnt appreciate the way i was treated this morning by the old guy with white hair that works the meat department.The man was very rude about me asking if they were going to have chicken and slid the door shut on me.If working with the public aint his thing maybe he should move on where he can be happy and not such a big a**

I don’t think I have the heart to give this Safeway a 1 Star, but when a guy walks in with a parrot that has soiled the parrot owners shirt just a tad, you can’t just let that customer shop around. Ya don’t let birds in where fresh food is being sold, it honestly made me question reality because the reality I thought to have existed in was not the one where a grown man thinks it wise to bring his bird into where someone literally will have fresh food for sale. My internal temperature rises just trying to process that mindset, so really the parrot guy gets a one star for sure but that dude walked past maybe 2-3 employees when entering and that kind of exposes an albeit unforeseen but a very fair question, is this the type of place to refuse someone with a really questionable pet? Aparrotly not. Wife can corroborate story, pun at the end all my idea though.

Downtown store has light amount of customers and all have face coverings and honor one way arrows and safe distance. Staff are welcoming and helpful.

This is the Safeway within walking distance of our house, so we use it very regularly for years! We love the folks there, and have known most of them via the store for a long time, and always receive excellent customer service. Not always the cheapest prices for what we are there for, but convenience alone will always have us using this location.

Always a good variety and the people are super friendly and is very rarely packed with people... unless of course the announcer another shutdown Im sure the paper towel and toilet paper aisle will be packed

This is kind of a dirty and rundown location but the prices are cheaper than most of the Safeways Ive ever been to, so if youre looking for affordibility above all else I do reccomend coming here... but if you want a cleaner, nicer & more modern store to shop at with your family Id recommend going somewhere else.

The Safeway store on Cleveland Avenue has become my to go place. The reasons are as follows and not necessarily in this order. Easy to get in the parking lot easy to find a space and easy to get out. Great selection of produce, bakery!!!, Meats, and the deli. I love their baked chicken!!! and so do my pets. I love love love their baked chicken. When I moved to Loveland I had a hard time finding really good baked chicken or fried chicken. Some places I never went back to( its best that I do not give you the details). Lets just say Ive had no issues with the deli chicken at Safeway at this location. For my moms 91st birthday we celebrated with chicken, her favorite food. Even cold this chicken taste awesome. Another reason I like this store is the staff, I find myself carrying on conversations with them. I have not had any issues with the store, my groceries, the service desk, nor the staff. I really dont want to give them this good of a review because Im afraid more people are going to cluster into my lovely store. Oh yes theres plenty of room in the aisles 2 Mosey around. I had to edit my review because of what someone wrote in a previous review . It is as follows. Someone did a review talking about a shady hotel and homeless people hanging around the grocery store. I have yet to see any such activity. I feel extremely safe here. Its in the old part of town and yes its store is a little bit older but I love this store more than the other Safeways. Ive really never had to stand in line to check out.

The employees are all very nice and helpful. Store is clean .The prices are a little high but its worth it to me . since theres isnt a lot of people shopping, I get in and out fast.

This store is always a pain, there are long lines because of the limited number of cashiers and the store is so dirty.

Always the same, which is good. Were quick to open up new checkout stands when lines began to form.

Loved it, clean even the parking lot was nice. Found everything I needed on my list. Prices are low on their brand, so that helped. Love the delivery. Worker was fast and friendly. Made grocery shopping nice instead of something I dread. Quality place in nice part of town, no crowds to deal with. Worth going back to!!

Its a grocery store that is reasonable prices. It has a good selection of meats. When they have sales on items its pretty good. I like this store. Good customer service. I enjoy the people that work here.

This store has the worst selection of any grocery store Ive ever been here and outside of a few of the special employees that used to exist during the old management, their service is awful. The way Ive seen them treat homeless people makes me ashamed to be a part of the human race. This store should do the world a favor and shut down. Ive heard horror stories from several employees there and the place is full of evil. Ive only shopped there out of great need and lack of Transportation. If I could rate it 0 Stars I would have....

I got a salad from the deli and when I opened it the greens were less than green. Sorry for a one item score but it was disgusting and definitely ruined my visit.

Safeway is not my favorite store as their prices are usually higher and they dont have as good of a selection as King Soopers. But this location is good because its much less busy than King Soopers, and they actually staff their checkstands appropriately, unlike some of their other locations.

I live near this Safeway. Use it twice a week because its the most convenient place, instead of driving across town to the nice one. This has to be one of the most poorly operated Safeways. Usually understaffed. Water machines are always on the fritz. Use this place when you need to. 50/50 youll be satisfied.
