I got a recall notice pertaining to an air bag ( Potential Problem !) I made an appointment with Greater Lowell GMC/ Buick, where I purchased my 2009 Sierra SLE back in 2009...When I arrived, I was greeted by the counter gentlemen at the office and told them who I was and they couldnt have been more helpful ! Minutes later I was drinking a hot cup of coffee that was offered to me and decided I would do a little window shopping...so to speak..! I walked around looking at new GMC trucks and other vehicles in the lot. Before I knew it, my truck was finished and brought out to me... !I couldnt have had a better experience...polite employees doing a great job ! Many ThanksJ.S.Hall

1 day job took 8 days. Repairs were supposed to be done under warranty, but the warranty company was not even contacted. Broke my axle during repairs. I was told it would be fixed under warranty, no question, so I authorized repair. Obviously it wasnt since they were not contacted. I was then told if I didnt pay the whole bill, I could not get my car, no matter what.Extremely underhanded and unethical. I am currently looking into legal action.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Bought a 2015 Acadia almost exactly 1 year ago at the time of this writing. At the 10 month mark the car ran out of transmission fluid during a family vacation, luckily not until we got off the highway. The car was still under warranty and so no cost was incurred. Not too long after, the exhaust had a leak and when I called to schedule an appointment they failed to call me back (the warranty just happened to expire around this time). Unhappy with their customer service at this point, I brought the car today to a local mechanic who fixed the exhaust leak and also discovered the front and rear differential not only hadn’t been serviced before I bought it, it was also filled with MUD AND TINY BITS OF METAL!! They’re supposed to be a trusted GMC dealer, but they sold me a vehicle that was bound to fail, save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else.

Nice, helpful people. No problem getting an appointment. Was taken right away. Wait wasnt too long (about an hour). I had a slight mark on my fender and the nice guy, Eric was nice enough to polish it out for me. No complaints at all.

This was my first time there servicing my truckI came in for an oil change and tire rotation. all was well, however, I received no indication of any time of inspection on the vehicles tire wear and tear, Breaks ect.. not sure if its because this location does not provide this, but it be great knowing it was looked at.P.S Love the car wash

Brought my Sierra in for a faulty trailer light connection and a separate issue with an extreme odor in the passenger compartment. The advisor, Eric, took careful consideration of the issues, assured me they would take care of both problems, and provided me with a loaner vehicle. After only a few hours, he called to report both problems had been identified and solved. (Yes, it was a dead mouse in the blower motor.) Lowell GMC is always on top of their game. Thanks to Mike and Eleanor and their entire staff.

Just purchased a vehicle yesterday and I just wanted to say my experience from start to finish was great. I worked with Jim initially and Angel took over. Everything went smooth and customer service was excellent. Special shout out to Angel for all his help, assistance, and just being an overall down to earth person. I feel like I’ve been to dealerships before and they were trying to shove leasing a vehicle down my throat where Jim was very upfront and honest about what would work better for me. Check engine light was on due to a traction control off message that appeared on the dash. So I took the car to Greater Lowell Buick GMC stealership for a diagnostic test. The mechanic was not able to find the source of the problem. He was throwing guesses on possible reasons why the check engine light could be on.Yet, Eric Scamman who was the service advisor at the time still managed to charge me a diagnostic fee of $125 . If I am not mistaken, a customer get charged a diagnostic fee when the mechanic is able to find the problem with the customers car. Right? I am very disappointed and will not service my car at this stealership in the future.

Jim, the General Manager of the dealership is fabulous to work with. He is the reason I came back this time and will again. He is generous enough to allow his sales managers to take the sale, even when he does all the legwork. You do not get the car salesman feeling when you work with him. He does not push, and he is honest and upfront about what the costs will be. I do not even bother going to shop at other dealerships anymore, I just call him directly when I am ready for a new car.

When I moved to NH I thought it would make more sense to bring my car to a dealer that was closer to me. Have to say, the customer service did not even come close to the service I have received over the years at your dealership. The next time my car was due for routine maintenance there was no question in my mind where I was going. I applaud your entire service dept. Everyone was very courteous and helpful from the time I was making the appointment until my keys were handed back to me. I just wish I remembered to follow up about the hitch cap. I lost the dealership one that came with the car at time purchase.

I just want to say that buying my 2021 DENALI 2500 DURAMAX at Lowell GMC was the best experience I’ve had buying a vehicle, and I’ve bought quite a few of them !! My vehicle needed an oil change, but I couldnt bring the vehicle in because I was caring for my wife who was recovering from surgery. The dealership came to my home, picked up the vehicle, provided the service, cleaned the vehicle, then brought it back to my home. I paid for the service over the phone. Bought my last vehicle here. The sales team was fair and transparent, no games. Quick too, came in one evening after work knowing what I wanted from a previous days year dude and some online searching, and the next evening after work I was in my new vehicle. I purchased my vehicle in 2015. I have also had no issue with their service department. Same deal, friendly staff, prompt service, and honest and transparent pricing. You can forget the stigma of dealer said being expensive here. Sure a neighborhood shop might be slightly cheaper but the fair and honest staff and complimentary water and coffee (and in the morning sometimes donuts too!) Is with the few extra dollars. I recently needed new tires and found their prices to be very comperable to other the retailers. They prove match on the tires themselves too. Regular maintenance is reasonable prices as well and they recently started detailing vehicles also. The biggest plus if they are gm certified so if you own a GM vehicle and its under warranty, you have no worries because nothing should go wrong and any work they do will not good your warranty. So, to sum it up, friendly, honest, and transparent sales team, friendly honest, transparent, and trustworthy service team, and a nice atmosphere on their waiting area if you choose to wait for your vehicle to be serviced or they also provide a ride to your house if its an extended job. During the pandemic they will even pick your vehicle up from your home for service, check with a sales rep for availability though, while I havent used this service I overheard one of the service reps explaining it to someone over the phone during my sorry wait at the counter.

Worst car shopping experience yet. Walked in, was chased around the store by a salesperson. I walked around a car and he followed my every step. I felt like I was being stalked. When it was time to look at numbers, I told them my budget, they went to run numbers came back with a price way over budget. I asked to work with them and to see if they can go lower. They basically laughed in my face, were rude and not easy to work with. Walked across the road to one of the other dealerships, and it was much more pleasant, easy to work with and I bought a car on the spot.

I requested a ball joint, inspection sticker, engine diagnostic which I was told was 134.00 and a headlight bulb change. I had my extended warranty for only 12 more miles. So the work needed to be performed and the inspections/checks on it were critical. I made that clear. They didn’t have the car part til four days later, it took them no time at all to fix the ball joint once part arrived as well as headlight bulb. However throughout the entire FOUR days the vehicle was there they did not do an inspection sticker as requested or an engine diagnostic or multi point inspection. I came to pick the car up when it was ready and realized there was no sticker and also the engine diagnostic was not done or multipoint inspection.They asked if I had a minute they would do a sticker right then and there, stating it should take no time at all since they had the vehicle for four days and it should have no problems! They also guaranteed me that the rental was covered under my warranty claim for the entire duration of the repair which was four days. My bill stated They charged me for the fourth and final day, it stated the claim wouldn’t cover the last day.. when I mentioned that there was no inspection sticker. He stated it had mismatched tires and the license plate was bent. This was done right in front of me and not during the four days they had it.. only after complaining in front of the manager did they perform this too basic of an inspection in front of me. They didn’t scan it for codes or for anything related to an Kind of inspection. I stated what I needed done, and expressed the concerns I had about the oil sludge to them. They assured me throughout the four days each day they were working hard to meet my requests and my cars needs. They didn’t even ask me if I wanted to purchase new tires. Very unhappy as of now two days after getting the car, the engine light has come on for a catalytic converter problem which would have been remedied if they had done the job right the first time under warranty.

I lease a GMC Terrian and went in for an oil change. The person working the front desk made me feel that I need to get a full injector test. I thought this was apart of my maintance package with my lease and did not realize that it was not covered. I feel like they did this on purpose to get money out of me. Awesome dealership! I made the mistake of buying a new GMC SIERRA DENALI from Quirk in Manchester. Shortly after taking delivery I discovered the truck was not properly prepped by Quirk. Over $500 worth of factory shipped items that were supposed to be installed by the dealer never were. I contacted the salesman and got the run around for over a week. I then submitted a negative survey about Quirk to General Motors. Ten days later I contacted Quirk to find out when they were going to install my parts. I was told they were on order and they would get them out to me, but wanted to end our business after that due to the negative survey I submitted. I needed to have these items installed and Jim the General Manager from Greater Lowell Buick GMC made it possible. I was treated with complete respect, the installations were completed while I waited. They even offered me a loaner vehicle. I got to meet the owner Michael, and the service manager Dave and was assured they would love to continue servicing my truck in the future. What a great dealership! I will continue using them for future service needs and will definitely purchase my next new vehicles from them.

I had to have my car towed to the dealer a few nights ago. I had called to inform them what had happened to my car that way they knew the next morning. The follow morning I got a call letting me know what happened and what they can do to fix the issue. It was going to be over $3,000 to fix it and I told them that was very expensive with a new house and a wedding to pay for I couldnt afford it and he pretty much laughed at me. I had asked them not to do anything to my car until they heard back from me (I was going to looking else where for a better deal in which I found.) So I call them the following morning to let them know that was going to be taking my car elsewhere. When I get there they had informed me that they had my car on the lift and they were about to start the work on it. This is after I had specifically asked them not to do anything to my car! I still had to pay for the diagnostic fee which I was okay with. The guy that handed me the receipt had told me he wished he knew the price was an issue and that they could have worked out the price with the service manager. I was shocked that they waited until I was there paying for the diagnostic to offer to work something out with the price of the car. I will not be coming back to this dealer as they were trying to way over charge me. I was able to find another place that only charged me $600.

Heres the thing... maybe Im getting soft in my older age, or maybe its because you guys treat me so well, but normally I would be annoyed that the GM Goodwrench inspection didnt get done when I had the oil changed like it says on my receipt. However, Im not when it comes with your dealership. After I got a call that my vehicle was ready, I mentioned that I thought there might be something up with the front rotors and pads. The adviser had them checked and recommended replacing them. Now, normally, Id fight this given the issue I had with the master brake cylinder and brakes in the past and the fact the vehicle only has 36k miles on it. (It does seem absurd to be replacing rotors at this mileage.) But, you guys have been so awesome to me, never pushing me, always willing to pickup and drop off the car when needing service, and having a reasonable price of $500 for new rotors and pads, I couldnt see any reason to push back. I trust that you will always represent truthful facts and only recommend what is absolutely needed. Thank you for all that you guys do. It has changed my opinion of GM forever and made me a loyal Greater Lowell customer.Julian

I brought my truck for a service bulletin from Gm, from then it’s been problems, they pre charged me for parts, parts that were supposed to be taken care of from the gm because it’s a safety issue on top of a service bulletin from GM that had to do with the leaf spring under the truck, so after I paid in advance Before the work was done because they said that what they do now, so I was a little confused and called GM headquarters and they told me that I was right and they were supposed to take care of it the first time I brought it initially ok, so when I notified the dealership in Lowell I think you guys made a mistake they said oh yeah that’s right, and they tried to get me “assistance” on paying they actually said that they would cover half the cost of the service bulletin, so they are making money off service bulletins that was supposed to be taken care of from GM and shouldn’t cost the customer thing, so if I did not make a few phone calls they would’ve took my money no problem, that’s sneaky grimy and disgusting doing that! I’m not a person trying to just talk bad about a dealership from a bad experience that I had and am not being dramatic or trying to make things sound worse, but getting charged for things that are supposed to be taken care of from Gm and then when it’s brought to light they offered paying half on top of that, that’s sneaky stuff, nobody should spend your money with a dealership that you just can’t trust at all and have to worry about them trying to hustle you, this is what happened to me, so I asked for my money back and probably going to have to jump threw hoops, but there you go GMC Lowell pre charging and taking money from customers for service bulletins there you go

Jacob my salesman was excellent. Delivered the car to me at my office in CT the day after I spoke with him.The next day they delivered and installed the floor mats they had to order, at my office.The sales manager gave me a great deal upfront and I bought the Denali XL that day over the phone.
