Joshua Davis helped me find the perfect bike for me. I was originally looking for a Dyna or an Ultra Limited but he showed me a Road King and helped me with the buying process. He was quick on getting back to me with any questions I may have had and even stayed late so I could make it up there from Snyder to pick up the bike.

I went in and told Melinda the sales lady I was interested in a chrome helmet. She showed me and I tried it on in the showroom. Never did she tell me that it was not a DOT certified helmet and was only a collectors item. I took the helmet home where I realized it was not suitable to wear for safety. When I tried to return it I was told they could not take the return because I had put it on my head and health concerns said I couldnt return it. I never put it on after leaving the showroom so my question is had I chose not to buy it after trying it on would they have disposed of it since I had tried it on. Its a shame that customer service is such a low priority for the staff of Twisted cycles. I personally will never take any of my buisness to them again and will quickly inform anyone that asks that they do not do good buisness and would definitely use some other company. I cant imagine buying a bike from them if they cant even stand behind an $86.00 helmet.**********UPDATE **********I received a call from Melinda this morning and was offered a very heartfelt apology for the service I received, she also went so far as to credit me for the collectors item I had purchased. I want to thank Melinda for taking the time to personally call me and rectify this situation. By doing this she not only salvaged a customer, but renewed my hope that good customer service does exhist.. Thank you Melinda for taking care of this....Ricky Shew

If only there were a lower rating, we spent months and months dealing with this company and after thousands of dollars spent on the vehicle that we were certain was fixed over 6 different times, ended up with no car and no refund after they messed up on thier service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ANY LOCATION. Thank you Brad (GM) and Scott (Owner) your actions were revealing of the overall company its apparent that MATADOR MOTORS lacks the class that your competitors have. We gave your company a chance and its sad that we had to part ways.
I bought my first car from here and completely paid it off and it took them forever to give me my title. I had to call countless times and it wasnt until I blew up on them that they actually went to get it.Salesman I talked with knew nothing about cars, they marked up the insurance without any prior warning, the only people that I liked were the ladys who took the payments; they were always nice and respectful.But I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and Ill never buy a car from here again.-just my honest opinions

Bought a Harley from them a month ago and they would not replace the front tire even though it had obvious cracks in it because they said it passed safety inspection. They guy I had change it commented he didnt understand how it could have passed safety with those cracks in it. Also, did not work with me on the price at all even though I told them it was really a little more than I wanted to pay for it. Kinda disappointed in the whole thing now. Would not really recommend them to anyone at this point.
Justin was so nice and very helpful. He was able to answer any questions that I may have had and provided details about the car they I would have forgotten to ask about. I highly recommend going and asking for justin.

Very high pricing. Only reason I didn’t purchase the bike, they were asking 2k more than book value. Not much better if you finance it with your own bank.

A friend recently bought a car with multiple defective systems, including one critical safety issue. The mechanics misdiagnosed the problems and wanted an excessive fee to correct the issues. It required the threat of court action for them to attempt to fix the car. Remains to be seen if they corrected the defective systems.
Called for info ruby kept hanging up on me. Asked for the manager she said stop calling. The reviews are correct bad customer service

What kind of business wont let you pay online or through an after hours automated line? I work 8am to 6pm and am on only off Sundays. I guess I will never pay my bill....
The only reason there is 1 star is because you cant rate a 0. My husband was interested in a car. We had stopped, looked at the car, and visited with the salesman. Through several days of phones calls between him and the salesman, my husband made an appointment to go and look at the car again, drive it, etc. The car was pretty much his, as all paperwork had been approved.We get there and the salesman that my husband made the appointment with was not there. So another salesman took us out to the car, he turned the key, and nothing. The battery was dead. Okay, that stuff happens, right? While he is getting the battery charger, my husband was looking over the car. The car had not been cleaned...it was dirty on the inside, items in the back seat...and get this...the trunk had dirt in it. Not like the regular West Texas dirt you get for a dirt storm. It was as if someone had taken a coffee can full of dirt and dumped it in the trunk. After said salesman was able to start the car, he had to take the car to put fuel in it...ALL THE WHILE we are waiting to drive this car with the intention of buying it. Remember, we had an appointment...it wasnt as if our visit was a surprise. All of that should have been taken care of before we got there.This review doesnt even include the ridiculous requests they made as far as paper work is required. We rent a house, they wanted a copy of the deed from the landlords. Are you kidding me?After a couple of lengthy closed door visits with the GM and his boss, we walked out. We will call you Monday, they said.They can call Monday, but they more than likely will not sell that car to us.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The sales reps were very unprofessional and disrespectful. I walked in to make a payment for my fiance and had to sit there for 20 minutes since no one was available dur to a meeting, what I heard astounded me as the sales reps were talking horribly about customers, the customers financial situations, and laughing at customers. On top of that, they agreed that with a cash down payment they would fix the issues with the vehicle...paperwork written on it...all they did was clear it out of the computer and refuse to fix it. Find somewhere else...Don Cox at Pollard is amazing...dont waste your time with the lies, excuses, and have a chance of everyone talking about your financial information in front of other individuals.
Horrible traded in my car 2014 for 2006 nissab Pathfinder put 2100$ on top of that on it with the trade in.. payments went to dam near. 700 a month they wont fix it was in shop 2nd day had the car. Been in few times still wont fix it. Wont help everyone give me the run-around n had the car for a month its bs
Okay. Let me just start by saying wow!! I had some issues with car buying experiences and so forth. I personally came across a sales person (Austin Brown) who literally took his time to sell me a car from home. Like seriously, I am a stay at home mom and I never had to leave my house! He found me the perfect car and at an unbelievable price and I didnt think there was anyway possible. He was a blessing! Then him, Ruby, my husband and myself sat down to sign paperwork..they were so down to earth, so sweet and gave an all american family a chance. They made my family feel like we mattered and my van is just gorgeous. Ive never had an experience like this and never met such good people that actually work in sales!! I am just so amazed at the customer service, the friendship and the work they put in just for me and my family. It wasnt just a car it was luxurious and something that exceeded expectations. I cant thank them enough!! Thank you Matador!!!Update: all the good people are gone. It just plain right sucks and thats an understatement. They took my car during the worst part of the pandemic. Even though I made payments for 3 straight years!! They also were supposed to do oil changes on my car but I went to change it about 3 times. Every time my oil light would come on, I finally took it to boltons and it was dry bone dry, NO liquids. That is just a few of the MANY issues with the vehicle!! They are crooks. They dont give a damn about anyone. Frontier dodge took care of me and I got a brand new car off the lot. They really know how to do business. Skip these idiots and save your time and money.

Edit— A nice woman named Lisa had overnighted the documents and everything has been handled. Thank you Matador Motors.I got a car from this place a couple years ago. I had great sales service and everything has been fine with the vehicle. However, the admin office is beginning to upset me. I moved out of state and have had my car registered here for over 6 months. Now, it’s time to renew my registration and I am not allowed to do so until they send a copy of the title over to the DMV. There have been multiple letters sent over the last 6 months according to the Tag office and they still haven’t complied in sending. Now I am unable to drive my vehicle. My sticker is completely expired BY OVER 30 days!!!!! I will get the vehicle impounded if I do not have the proper registration and I happen to be pulled over. THIS IS THE ONLY VEHICLE MY FAMILY HAS. I have a husband who works 35 min away and a child in school. We use this car daily. What is there to do now? Uber? There is no public transportation and my child does not take a bus. This could have been prevented MONTHS ago. I am very upset and very angry. I have consistently made my payments and I have never missed any. I have always communicated thoroughly. This is NOT how you do business. I need a resolution immediately. Overnight mail it if need be. All of this is unacceptable. I have left multiple voicemails - admin office, Ruby Molina and Pete Ruiz.
WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN???First of all before you decide to buy here exhaust every other option first! This is the worst car buying experiences I have ever had and I have purchased many vehicles. I was excited to find a car lot who would help me get another car quickly after mine broke down little did I know I was in the worst place imaginable.I had met with Lorenzo he was car salesman and we had found a car to fit my needs and agreed on down payment and monthly payments I could afford and I gave him my down payment to hold the car well you guessed it, THEY SOLD IT! REALLY?? Next I come back they found another one for me and promised to keep my payments and down payment the same ha that was a lie, I go test drive to find the car is knocking and A/C not working properly, this was a major thing for me they gave me a loaner car and said they would fix the issues. The only thing they fixed were the flat tires it was sitting on literally!Anyway they called me to go get my car and when I got there they told me I would have to put more money down and my payment went up 105$ per month! I was really desperate for a car so I just went with it. They had me up and down in that place about five or six times for no reason at all because they can not keep their end of any agreement and your wait time will be well over two hours each time and you will not be greeted anytime they look at you with a blank response. Seriously these guys are something else all they do is sit around texting and talking smack about other customers!They also promised to fill my tank with gas for all of my troubles a few times and I called to tell Lorenzo what time I would be there so I would not have to wait two hours to get my gas and what do you know I waited two hours only to get sick of waiting so I left with no gas! They do not even bother to talk to you and let you know what your waiting for they just keep looking at you and making you guess.I have not received a copy of my contract because their computer is running slow so they say, and I have yet to have my A/C or the knocking in my car fixed nor did I get my car detailed and washed that they claimed would happen either! The guy Tom that sits down all day doing nothing that claims he is the finance manager is a total joke and should be fired for being so unprofessional he thought he would get smart when I suggested that I make an appointment to get my gas with sarcasm, he calmly replied yes she needs an appointment lol !!!!! WOW?If you really think about it smart guy I had an appointment because I told Lorenzo that I was going to be there at 4 so keep your end of the agreement !Anyway I will be back every other day to get what is promised to me until I get it!!! Need new team of people here for sure DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE PEOPLE!!!!I know I am leaving stuff out but I have to get back to work so I can make money to pay for the KLUNCKER they sold me for way over market value!!!Oh and check out how lazy they are they wont even give me my temporary tags they have me using the car salesman tags you all should be very ashamed your a bunch of crooks and something needs to be done to resolve this matter!!!!!!

You know, my husband and I have REALLY bad experiences with buy here/pay here lots, and theyre usually for a reason, and this one is for a good reason. Im really disappointed in this one, because like many other lots like this one, they took advantage of a poor situation to get a sale.My husband and I went in when they had the tax refund sale (or whatever it is) in late January, and we were able to get approved for $1500 (whenever we signed). We were told to come back in when we have insurance, which is typical. We came back in later that week with proof of insurance, and to sign the remainder of the paperwork, but the salesman came back and told us we need to put down an additional $300 down payment (that we didnt agree to, was not on the paperwork). I pointed this out when my husband was signing the paperwork, and the only thing they could do was give us one day to give them the remainder of the payment. We were already in a bind, so I gave them the other $300. This escapade went on for about 1-2 weeks by the way because the salesman had our paperwork for our taxes, didnt file them right, etc.We finally got into our vehicle, and it worked awesome. For about 2-3 weeks. We made the first initial payment, and they have this system where if you dont make your payment, itll shut off your vehicle. The system didnt reset correctly, and we believe it shorted the electrical system, and we were unable to turn on the vehicle from that point. We returned the vehicle because 1. It wasnt turning on. 2. We havent recieved our tax return that we have already verified with the IRS it was already deposited (on a card Matador gave to us). We later found out they gave us somebody elses card that had little to nothing on it, and they gave ours to someone else (that had our pin information on it). The card company cant do anything about it. We contacted the company on multiple occasions to resolve this just by giving us our tax return, and they just wont respond. Ive already complained to the BBB, and they havent responded to the complaint.So. Its common sense to not go to a buy here/pay here lot. Just dont go here. Please dont. Poor customer service. They seem busy, but theyre just talking amongst themselves about the previous weekend. Poor or limited car selection all month. Save your self the headache.

This company is not only the worst company in Lubbock to buy from, it is also the worst company in Lubbock to work for. Not only do they lie, cheat, and steel from its employees they do the same to its customers. Deceptive trade Practices If you have purchased a vehicle from this company and they have reposed a vehicle from you and kept your down payment, if they have made a payment arrangement with you then didnt hold that end. If you financed with a bank and you do not have your TAGS and your trade is not paid off. You need to contact an attorney ASAP! This company is in trouble with the EEOC, OCCC, Department of motor vehicle dealer enforcement division and WHO KNOWS ELSE. They also discriminate not only against their employees their customers as well. If your a precious employee and feel you were done unjust contact the EEOC and an attorney ASAP. VENDERS they are bouncing drafts to wholesalers and they are out of trust with their own bank and refusing to pay sublet invoices

As you can see by my personal reviews Ive done a great job for my customers! With that being said, dont EVER purchase a vehicle from Matador Motors. They treat their employees horribly and good luck getting your trade in paid off in a timely manner. They dont even pay their vendors in a timely manner. I personally had customers whose vehicles almost got repod because Matador Motors neglected to pay the vehicle off in time. I didnt even buy my own personal vehicle from Matador (purchased my vehicle from Reagor Dykes on 82nd and Milwaukee) Reagor gave me a better deal than my own employer. Needless to say, I no longer work with the Matador Company and am still waiting for a check that Pete a Ruiz has refused to pay me, to the point that there have been complaints filed with the Texas Workforce Commission as well has the U.S. Department Of Labor. DO NOT BUY FROM MATADOR MOTORS OR PETE RUIZ!!
