Worked with a gentleman named Jeremy and he was excellent and straight forward. Didnt let us have any surprises in prices and did his best to set us up with the best price within our budget. Went through and broke down every option we had. People are a product of their workplace and if the rest of the folks here are half as nice as Mr. Jeremy then youll be in good hands.

I just left Verizon after 11 years. In the past month Ive had my phone stop making calls & texts twice. It took 3 weeks to fix after they tried sending me back & forth with insurance. The newest update did the same. You cannot talk to a person and everything HAS to be text. It takes HOURS & they fix nothing. I was sad to leave, but the only way to get help is to take it to Twitter and do it publicly.At this location they make you stand outside. The man that came out was nice enough, but directed me back to the phones & endless we cant help you.Do NOT go Verizon. A tin can and string instead. It is more reliable.

This store is a joke! I had to drive 2 hours to get to this corporate store and when I got there the manager tried to help and he couldn’t get my daughters phone to work so we were told from Verizon that it needed to be replaced and than he took my daughters SIM card out of her phone and placed it in his phone to see if it was a issue with her SIM card which it wasn’t and it was a issue with the device itself, the manager said he couldn’t help! So it was a waste of time and gas on my part! Than when I got home and got on my Verizon app to contact Verizon, I noticed that the managers phone was now registered on my account because he switched my daughters SIM card into his personal phone, therefore I had just made a payment for the phone and it was going towards his phone! He has been able to access my account information because he switched her SIM card into his phone which is a violation of my account! He should be fired for this! You can’t contact this store and talk to anyone there because it goes to the Verizon 1800 number. It’s been so frustrating trying to get his phone off my account and get my daughters actual phone back on there. This was a cluster of issues that should have never happened in the first place! If I could give it a zero rating I would! Beware of the manager and the way he operates this store because no telling how many other people he has done this to.

This store was helpful except the manager who enterupted the employee helping me to rush me out the door to tell me if I have issues call the help number which was already closed when she forced me out the door.... And verizon keeps marking all my phones as stolen if any one is stealing its verizon yall make money everytime I buy a phone so what yall are just gonna keep making my phones unusable.... Bad for business

We ordered same day pick up, curbside, at 2:30 that afternoon (a $1,200 order). 45 minutes before the store closed it still wasnt ready for pick up. We called the 806 local phone number & couldnt reach the store directly, it kept directing us to the corporate robot answering service. So we decided to message Verizons chat. They told us that we should wait til tomorrow, we were expecting terrible winter storms the next day & didnt want to get out in horrible winter conditions. (Very disappointed with VZW chat for multiple reasons!!!) So I decided to just go up there anyways... I show up and the store is completely empty of customers, only the staff, oh yeah and not to mention I showed up and they were playing cards behind the counter... 🙄. I told them, politely, my experience and would really like to pick up the phone today. I was, at that point, informed my order had been ready for pick up hours ago but the VZW app didnt reflect that statement... Im not sure what happened but overall I was incredibly dissatisfied with the online order service as well as VZW chat. I pay an astronomical amount of $$$ for your service & didnt feel like yall did your best to make sure a paying customer was satisfied.

I was in this store today as a medically exempt person from wearing the mask the sales staff and manager both didnt care and was told that they dont have to follow state and federal guidelines on medical exemptions get it on or leave I tried to finish my business quickly and was still forced to leave the store to get my breathe before trying to complete my business finally I just left they tried to tell me that it was company policy but I have been in other Verizon store that dont require it ........ this is against more then one law

What a joke. Couldnt go in without a mask. Only one person in at a time. Then after jumping through all the hoops, all they wanted to do was sell a 1000 dollar phone. Got my issues resolved over the phone outside with the warranty company. Doubtful Ill be back inside such a useless place.

Customer service in store is great. Customer service over the phone not so good. Bill too high. Tried to change plan to suit my budget but they kept trying to offer me items for higher bill.Offered to find me a deal came back with offer that was more than I was already paying. Language barrier. They would not listen to what I was needing. They were all about selling me more. I had to leave this service. Tried many times to stay but they didnt care to help me. Its not about the customer . Its about the almighty dollar.

Very helpful. No wait. Courteous. Switching over from another carrier for better customer service. Hallelujah!Update - had to return to the store for another issue which took 4 visits. None of which were good customer service etc. I guess the honeymoon was over with getting a new customer. Guys were to busy talking about going to see the new Joker movie, detail by detail to pay attention that they had a customer even though they had looked me eye to eye already. Finally gave them the scenario of why I had to come to the store they didnt know how to help and actually could care less. They put me off 3 additional times. I now have the address in Newark NJ to contact the main customer support head quarters. When you call the number online they say Oh yeah they can get it handled at your local corporate store but when you go in they could fricking care less! Sad pathetic customer service.

We never have any problems with this store until today. We checked in and waited like usual. This lady comes in about 15 minutes after us and once the guy we were next to see was free she just got up and cut right in front of us just because she knows the manager. I dont care if you know the CEO that does not give you the right to cut in front of anyone. I am completely dissatisfied with this visit

Went to this location this morning. Tony was extremely helpful, but, for some reason, there was worship music playing over the store system. While I respect anyones right to believe what they like, you are alienating a large percentage of the your customer base. Havent seen this at other locations, so I assume its not standard practice. There are places for you to worship. Work isnt one of them.

I never dread going to this location for questions, upgrades, or just to pay my phone bill. Everyone is always upbeat and willing to help. I wanted to give kudos to Tony for staying an hour after they closed (and willing to stay longer if necessary) to make sure all of my contacts, pictures, etc were moved from my old phone to my new one. On the edge here. Customer service is awesome when it comes to sales and checking out accessories. BIG FLOP in the CSM arena. Errors go unfixed, and management seems to want to hold your feet to the writing on the paper, even if non- existent. If you want service without the usual pretentiousness if other stores, this is the place, but if you want service after the sale, find another service provider. Great sales though.

I was walking up to the door at a little before 8 pm.... The guy wearing a red and gray jacket sees me walking up to the door and locks the door in front of me... Really... That is the way you treat customers.... Then to top it off there was a lady associate that walks over and makes sure the door was locked..... I will not be going back to this location ever again....

Today(July 14, 2018) my husband and I came to pay off his phone and pay for a flip phone. We were greeted and waited 30 minutes, which was fine because there’s always an expected wait time. Greg was the one helping us and we had told him that we want to pay the remaining balance on my husbands phone and get a flip phone. Greg was adamant about getting my husband a smart phone but that’s not we wanted because we don’t want payments because we wanted our bill to decrease. We go to the counter to pay my husbands phone off and we told Greg we wanted the flip phone that is on display near the front door. He stated they may not have that one but they have something similar. He goes to the back and comes out with a box. He didn’t want to open it because it was giving him “problems.” So he goes on and we pay for the flip phone, or what we thought was a flip phone. I asked how much our bill would go down and he stated it wouldn’t which was the second red flag. He didn’t want to activate the phone for us but made sure to give us his card just in case we couldn’t get it done, this was the third red flag because they usually activate phones for customers. We leave the building and get in the car where my husband finds out that he was sold a smartphone. We are livid at this point because smartphones are nowhere near similar to flip phones. My husband is now back in the store where he has been for ten minutes. I understand they work off of commission but when a customer states what they want, don’t go trying to sale us something we never asked for.Update*** the general manager went to the back and came out with a flip phone.

I went in and did what I needed to do. It took a little longer than I expected given the number of customers in the store.I understand they are supposed to push sales of accessories and add-ons, but when you politely decline and they repeatedly bring them up its very annoying. I was offered a smart home device and when I told them I already had a different brand one a salesperson told me what I had was garbage and I needed to buy one from them. Really?!?!?!

Went in to purchase a new phone and renew my contract. My sales associate seemed annoyed the entire time he “helped” me. Most of my questions were answered with a long sigh and a short explanation. I come to this store because I’ve had many positive experiences with the staff here. That ended a few weeks ago. If my old phone would have worked well enough to spend time online shopping and waiting for a phone you would have lost my business. Next time I will go where customers are appreciated and not an annoying part of your job. The store was clean and the wait time was minimal.

If you live in Abernathy or are moving there, go with a different carrier. After two years of fighting with Verizon telling them the one tower here sucks, they finally admitted it cant handle the town. Data speeds are ridiculously slow (barely hit 2mbps down now) and theyre not going to do anything about. It used to be decent 3 years ago.

This review is in response to another review regarding the Christian music playing in the store. There are some who believe the exact opposite of what you do and we are not a minority as you might think. We have just as valid a point as yours. I personally despise listening to the same 10 songs over and over about boozing, having illicit sex, immoral behaviors, and drugs over and over and over and over again. But ive never complained because it I believe people have the right to listen to what they want. And as far as the store is concerned if you truly caved in to removing Christian music because of this guy who is intolerant, and someone that puts hate speech into print against myself and other fellow Christians then you guys are just as bad.EDIT: After stopping into this store and speaking with the manager I have found that these reviews are replied to by corporate pencil pushers that are focused on political correctness. I spent all day here dealing with them and was treated well. I raise my review from 1 star to 4 with a loss of one star to corporate political correctness.

I went in looking to upgrade my phone. At first the customer service guy was very pleasant and polite. He noticed that my upgrade wasnt due until December. After that he seemed unwilling to get off his chair and help me look at various different phones. I did have several questions about several, but after his performance I decided to leave and will just buy a new phone from their website. Horrible Service.

Received some of the worst customer service I have EVER received from Verizon. The person that assisted me was Jenny M. and she was neither friendly or helpful when purchasing my new phone. In addition, she was not knowledgeable on how to transfer my data from my iPhone 5 to my new 6s. Thank goodness I was able to find this information on Google or I would still be trying to find my contacts. The entire experience was one that was filled with frustration and left me wondering why would one give such bad customer service when there is a Best Buy located directly behind the store selling the same product. I rarely write a review but when you get such bad service I felt like this needed to be out there so that others could avoid the same experience i just had. So if you get a sales person named Jenny M .... I would consider asking for another

The store is okay. Some employees are just total idiots. Ask them a question they look at you like they just saw a ghost. Others do know somewhat of they are talking about. Dont ask about a phone upgrade. Dealt with the store and corporate for 2 months just trying to get a new phone, switched carriers - not worth the headache.

I live an hour away and was trying to see what colors were available so I don’t make the drive for nothing. Worst costumer service I have every received! The employees where not wiling to help me despite what the corporate office had told me about my problem. All the employees stood around and talked amongst themselves as I was on the phone with the corporate office trying to figure out why my account was missing information. I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Stellar on Verizons online store. I took it in and Luis Garcia waited on me. He was so very patient with me! This was my first smart phone and I really need a Smart phone for dummies. He showed me how too answer it, send text, etc. I am 62 years old and was still using an old flip phone. He had his work cut out but never made feel stupid or hurried me. I have had others at different stores act as if they did not have time for me, Louis did not do that. I will recommend this store and especially Louis. Look out Louis, now you will have all of us ol folk flocking to you. Thank you!

Went to this verizon store the other day to get a new phone activated when I went in it took them 30-45 mins to actually do anything there were people that walked in after me get seen by a representative before me and when I did get seen by a representative to activate the new phone he tells me its on a non pay list and that the phone I bought couldnt be activated but the representative told me that if I put an active sim card in it it would work but said that since it was a new activation it wouldnt work finally frustrated I just bought another cheaper phone and as I was leaving I ask the representative if I took the sim card out of the phone I just bought into the used phone and he told me Im not sure never tried it Ive been to other stores since then and all the representatives at the other places said that could have been avoided a $600 bill could have been avoided if they hadnt been pushed to try and sell

As long as youre purchasing they are extremely attentive but as for customer service afterwards then very poor. I live 120 miles from Lubbock and purchased a phone for myself unexpectedly while picking up my sons phone for Christmas. I did not have the back or charger to my old phone with me. Since I was trading in my phone (big mistake btw) the rep told me to bring it in during my next trip to Lubbock. So after Christmas I brought it in and they made me check in as if I were purchasing. I waited at least 20 minutes. I told the manager I had an appointment and needed to just drop the items off and he told me he couldnt accept them because I had to speak to a rep. Needless to say I left extremely frustrated and kept the items. Unbelievable!

This store is a joke. I worked for 45 minutes with Verizon corporate on an issue and mistakenly went to this store instead of the corporate store on Milwaukee. The douche who tended to me tried to insist I had to buy a new phone to switch my number. I told him that is not what I wanted to do and he insisted it was. Then he tried to say its what the notes said and I told him they were wrong and he still insisted I had to do what the notes said. I went to the corporate store and not only was the Russell employee wrong I dissevered that Russell Cellular failed to tell me of the business plan three years ago. DONT USE THIS STORE, the corporate store is more professional and wont try to swindle you. Plus there you dont have to pay $5 to pay your bill in cash. There is no reason to utilize Russell when there is a corporate store 3 miles away
