I ordered a dozen donuts ½glaze and ½chocolate. I got home and opened the box to an assorted box. So I had to drive it all the way back to get the order corrected. But when I got home and opened the box this time donuts were so small they looked like toys. The worker was pleasant and very apologetic, but it was a total inconvenience.

We go to this Location quite often because this is the only location in Lubbock. The coffee machine is always broken they are out of everything all the time. The lobby is closed and the line is wrapped around the building. In most cases this would be a good thing but the intercom to order is broken so you do not order until you get to the window. So with that being said you wait in the line for 20 min only to find out you have to drive away because they are out of things or something is broken. We would love to see a second location in Lubbock

I was in line for 40 min to get 2 donuts, they were out of almost all donuts except glaze. The Hotlight was on yet I got 2 COLD, tiny donuts. I love Krispy Kreme but I highly do not suggest this location.

I should have shared this years ago... a few years back I had been with my partner for about 2 years at the times. We had some significant hardships going on in our life. Well, one day I found out that when the light is one we can get a free donut. So to help lighten things up for us I suggested to my partner for us to check it out. So we went, got a donut and some hats and paper apron... we went home and put the hats and aprons on and posed and took pictures with us eating the donut all geared up. Lol it was so great to have just that moment of peace where we could just feel at ease even for a bit. Thanks Krispy Kreme, you all have no idea how that lil thing of a donut helped us move forward from our grief. I will never forget it.

Lobby wasnt open. I ordered through the drive through. And didnt what I ordered. After repeating my order at the window.

Always out of whatever you order ! Rude and unfriendly employees. When the man asked “how many donuts you trying to order man ? “ I wanted to say what do have I’m trying I order half a dozen and you don’t have the ones I asked for ?! I drove off . This is the 3rd time trying to like this place and I will never be back ! DUNKIN IS BETTER SAVE YOUR MONEY!

This was the worst experience ever! I ordered donuts, they said the machine was messing the donuts up, and they came out way smaller and flat! The sign was on saying that the donuts were ready and I STILL had to wait another 10min. They could have added more donuts and I would have been ok with it, but I opened my box to see that. I told them I didnt want it, and they gave me a refund of $0. I will definitely be contacting my bank. Not to mention the girl at the front register ignoring all of the customers and being rude when they asked if she could take their order. That is ridiculous and I will NOT be coming back.

If I could give it a zero I would. I grew up in NC where Krispy Kreme started and this one is nothing like they should be. There are too many other donut places in this town for this place to not try to be great like it should be. Numerous times have been there and they are out of most everything, their machine is broken and the speaker and sign at the drive up is busted. I was there today and I sat there for at least 5 minutes while employees inside walked by and looked at me never coming to the window. When they finally did, they didn’t have donuts because the machine was being worked on. If you can’t do better than this you should close this location. They are giving Krispy Kreme a bad name.

I’ve been in here 4 times recently, from times ranging between 10am and 4pm. They’ve been out of donuts, out of glazed donuts, or out of everything. I went in at 4pm and asked if they were open. They said yes. I asked for a glazed donut, they said they were out of all donuts. I asked for coffee, they said they weren’t allowed to make any more till 6pm. I said they obviously weren’t open and left. This place is hanging on by a string, and will probably be out of business within 3 months. Sad.

This entire store is a complete JOKE! Broken machines, stale donuts, lazy employees and very rude at that. Always an excuse - seems to me like the doors just need to close up for good - waste of space.

Just left this Krispy Kreme, this is always our last stop before heading back home! However, this was the worst I have seen this Krispy Kreme. Service was great, workers always respectful, but the atmosphere the Management is forcing the employees to work in is unbearable. We are in the middle of summer the temperature is already going above 100 degrees. We are welcomed by a sign on the door saying we can ONLY provide glazed due to short staff, that’s fine NOTHING to complain about. We walk in and it’s A SAUNA, A/C is broken, 3 workers behind the counter are drained, sweaty, and EXHAUSTED. We could not enjoy our donuts there because the heat was unbearable could not breath. YOU CAN CLEARLY TELL THAT MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE ATMOSPHERE THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE WORKING IN. This one star is not for the employees, but the MANAGEMENT sitting in their nice and cool offices. GET THIEIR A/C FIXED, GET PEOPLE HIRED, OR SHUT DOWN THE BUILDING. Waited 30 almost 40 minutes in the drive thru, since for whatever reason the inside was closed, only for their speaker box to not be working and they took orders only at the 2nd window, not the first which made the drive thru line SUPER LONG, and they had a very limited selection of their menu which they had ZERO signs saying that. The service was ok, considering she probably had to repeat the news to every single patron, so theres no blame there, but this establishment HAS to get it together.

I’ve been here several times now since moving to Lubbock and I can tell you that this is NOT a real Krispy Kreme and most certainly not worth the calories. Might as well get some cheap donuts from the grocery store. Don’t waste your money.

I love Krispy Kreme donuts they are the best I wish we had a Krispy Kreme donut here in Clovis or Im from New Mexico but we dont but every time we go to Lubbock thats our first stop cuz we leave early I wish they would make twist I dont know if yall do or dont or just cake donuts but anyway I love Krispy Kreme

I dont know what happened, but someone needs to pay attention. The lock on the front door is clearly broken, tape is used to keep the lock down. When I arrived there this morning there were already customers waiting to be served . I stood in line for a few minutes and the workers just pretended that they didnt have customers. The establishment was also so smokey so either the oil is too hot or the fans are not working. I left and went to another donut shop. Clearly closing the door for a few weeks to address the problems and train employees and maybe change management would be best for this business.

Every experience I’ve had with this location recently has been horrible. They don’t care about customers, so don’t waste your money here. I got there today at 6:20 and tried going through the drive-thru…the employee was sitting outside the store on their phone. Then I pull around to go inside, but the door was locked and another employee is sitting down on their phone at a table. The website advertised they open at 6 but apparently not…had lots of customers outside and they didn’t care enough to let us know anything. Never receiving my business again :(

Not sure what happened to this place. Used to be good. Your restaurant is only as good as the management. Makes me wonder if the owners no how terrible this place is ran. They only ever have a few types of donuts and I swear they are old sometimes. Like day old donuts. This place will have to change management or it will end up going of business.

Very nice staff and very respectful and friendly. This place was clean and smelled like fresh donuts since there was a batch being made. We got two dozen and they pulled them right off the assembly line! Thank you. Parking is never a problem and great location right off highway. Cheaper then the Krispy Kreme’s in Dallas and San Antonio area. We will be back.

About the worst Krispy Kreme I’ve ever been to — they rarely have the special flavors on time, the Hotlight is almost never on, then they leave it running long after, so when it is on you have to go inside because they’ll push old cold donuts on you. Not once have I had a good experience.

Donuts the size of mini donuts and when I questioned the girl she was extremely rude! And then charged me .20 extra for a strawberry sprinkle when I was already getting a mixed dozen. I’d be ashamed to have my name associated with this rundown store!

We love Krispy Kreme but this one is sad. We’ve been there three times in the past month and they had no doughnuts and no doughnuts on the racks and making little to no doughnuts. The store is filthy and the bathrooms are just as gross. Hopefully something changes with the management but we’ve been very unhappy.

Went to loop 289 location while traveling to Lubbock. Very disappointing.. went Saturday and all they had were donuts with sprinkles (which nobody in my household likes). So left with nothing and went back Sunday.. Their front display case only had a few glazed trays, nothing else. They had 4 kinds of donuts over by drive thru window: cream filled, glazed, chocolate, and strawberry w/sprinkes.. Still got charged $12 for a dozen, even with their lack of selection.. They used to be great.. Has gone way downhill.. Staff also seemed discourteous and preoccupied. More worried about eating their Delivery food they had ordered than helping me at counter.

Been to this place a few times right when they open at 6am. And the dont have nothing ready. Wanted me to show up an hour later and they would be ready. Decided to go to rise and shine. They are always up and ready to serve

This is the only Krispy Kreme in the world that doesnt understand what the Hot Now sign is for. Ive been here twice when the sign was on and they have only had cooled donuts. When you ask them why the sign is still on they act like they dont know what its for. FYI - THE SIGN ONLY GOES ON DURING THE TIME YOU HAVE HOT DOUGHNUTS NOW. THATS WHAT THE SIGN SAYS! Every other Krispy Kreme donut place Ive been to knows that. Please turn the sign off when appropriate so that customers who want fresh hot doughnuts know when to come by and when to keep going.

I guess drive thru is no longer in order, there’s a sign that says pull forward and we did right behind cars in front of us and after 20 mins of both cars leaving with no service given to them we pull up and see people working and they see us but also never helped us. We went inside and they only had glazed donuts available so anyway that’s that.

The person handling the window was the rudest employee I have ever seen. I would fire my employee on the spot if they acted that way to a client/customer. Too many other donut shops in town for that kind of behavior.

Just came by for a 1/2 dozen of chocolate and 1/2 dozen of regular glazed and these did not taste as great as they did years ago, these were definitely a LOT smaller, like smaller than my palm

Poor management...New to Lubbock, love Krispy Kreme but if you are used to big city Krispy Kreme then you will be disappointed here. This place is run down. On Sundays (the only time my family craves donuts) they never have anything other than glazed and chocolate. The glazed donuts always look like they were made the night before. Signs all over saying Try this new donut but you cant because they arent made because apparently they opened 30 min ago (it was 10am when I went) on a Sunday when their hours say they open at 6:30am. Also, the drive through speaker rarely works. So if youre going for glazed, make sure you go the night before and make sure you walk in. Otherwise go to a different donut shop. I will be from now on.

I’ve had two bad experiences at this Krispy Kreme, they always always take FOREVER. This is the longest I’ve ever had to wait in a drive thru line of only 4 cars. Also something is always wrong with their system. Just a terrible experience every single time, waited 30 minutes in line just to leave. The first time I came they ran out of nearly everything and were only accepting exact change no card.

Drive up window was busy so I parked and walked in. There were no customers inside the building. I was not greeted in any form or fashion and no one ever said a word to me to even acknowledge my presence…no one even said, “I’ll be with you in a moment.” So I left.

I wasnt too impressed! If you come in the middle of the day, you can tell that those donuts have sat there for many hours. Not quite the treat I was expecting!

Sat at the Drive thru for 25 minutes and it only moved one car yet people inside (during COVID) were going in and out quickly.

I have been to location in Lubbock 4 times & they are not opened. Each time between 6:30 & 9 am. Have tried calling & no one answers. Suppose they are closed as unable to reach anyone to find out. Very disappointed

People were nice and their donuts are good BUT they no longer are making their quality donuts the sourcream cake and blueberry. Theses actually have a great favor, none better! And the sad thing is they were the best. Dunkin too bad nice try but not even close. Krispys donuts are good but the cake donuts were a Stand Out.So I guess Im a Dunkin Donuts customer now and I really hate that but Krispy Im filing for divorce no sourcream no marriage with me.

Came by for Veterans Day around 7:30 pm and pulled up to broken speaker with a virtually unreadable piece of paper stuck over it. Assumed it said pull up to one of your two windows. Pulled up and waited.... No one came. Happy Veterans Day....

No stars!!!The absolute WORST service. Never took order. Saw all employees exit back door to smoke and yap. Had to just drive up to window then at window didn’t seem to know about any specials on Fridays or EVER. Drove off.

Walked in at 6pm and the fresh donuts sign was on. 2 of the staff looked at me and walked to the back and never returned. There were NO donuts being freshly made and no donuts in the display. After 5 mins of waiting, I walked out having to tell my littles that they couldnt have donuts for tomorrow. Smh This is NOT the first, second or even the third time this has happened.

Not too thrilled about finding the big finger puncture that was put into one of my doughnuts when i opened the box. And there were a number of employees on duty but only 2 at the front dealing with customers . Customer service needs to be worked on.

I had to give this store one star to post this review, but if I had a choose I wouldnt give them this one star. They need to do us all a favor and close their doors. We pull up to order a dozen glazed donuts at 11 in the morning, and they RAN OUT. So we asked when would they have some available. He replies, in a couple of hours then another person says, we wont have any at all today! Really! They should have just put a closed sign for the day. There were at 12 cars in line.

This shop is just horrible. They last couple times we have gone they don’t have any cake donuts. Today I stopped by at 9:30 on a Saturday, prime donut selling time, and they were out of everything except 1 donut type (some filled donut). The staff don’t seem to care and we even called Krispy Kreme corporate once to let them know this shop was just not cutting the mustard.Go get Shipleys instead.

Follow up from previous good review. Went on Saturday at 4:08 pm. We went through the drive thru and were told, you should have gotten here earlier! We are sold out of glazed donuts and wont have any until 5. To bad they are not aware that when you are running low on donuts you should probably make more and thus not sound like such a simpleton having to turn away sales because a donut store doesnt have donuts to sell even though the are open for business.

Staff was unaware of protocol when out of stock of online order. Never once offered me a refund nor substitution for order that would not be prepared after being paid for. Dealt with multiple failed attempts to receive my refund.

They are very slow in the drive thru. Everytime I go they are out of cake donuts. I always go during the day so its not like Im going at closing time!

Working for DoorDash. Store didnt have half the order and didnt know what the rest of the order meant. They made contact with the customer then asked if I could come back in an hour to pick it up. An hour to make 4 doughnuts? Declining orders from here.

The WORST Krispy Kreme location I have ever been to. It’s dirty and the donuts look horrible. No wonder no one goes. Looks like a kid made the donuts.

Be sure to check your order before you drive off. We went there after going to Lubbock to do some Christmas shopping and ordered two chocolate donuts with sprinkles, two strawberry with sprinkles, and two maple. Theyre always out of at least one or two flavors. Sometimes they only HAVE one or two flavors. They said they were out of maple, but had the other two flavors we ordered. We drove all the way home to Plainview and when we opened the box, we had six plain donuts. Thats not what we ordered and the guy at the window said they had what we ordered. Its like they just grabbed some random, pre-made box and gave it to us, not caring that nothing in the box was what we ordered. Were going to Shipleys from now on.

We pulled up at 7:54pm. The OPEN light was and the sign on the drive through window said they were open until 10:00. The drive through speaker didnt work (per the paper sign), so when someone finally came to the window, he said they had closed at 8:00, but it wasnt even 8:00. We had driven in from 2 hours away, and left greatly disappointed.

I find it very disappointing that no Oreo donuts were made during the Oreo promotion. I called twice and was told they would be made the next morning only to find that none were made.
