I was surprised to see that this Walmart was nearly identical to the Walmarts that I have gone to where I live in Texas. It was interesting to see the small differences, like produce and meat. One negative thing I noticed was that more than once Walmart employees seem to be blocking the isles doing nothing which made it difficult for shoppers to maneuver around. At one point a Walmart employee put his hand up to wave someone ahead. Strange.

Went to the online grocery pickup line this morning to pickup a doordash order, as I do every day when I get them. A manager walks out and tells my fiance that they cannot release the order to us because my fiance was caught stealing with her grandma. Keep in mind my fiance dresses in male dominant clothing. They left us outside waiting for 15 minutes with no order and no proof. They then brought my order out and the employee who brought it told me a girl in the front called my fiance a dyke and got confused between a nother person. No manager came out to have the discussion about what just happened.

We had a great time but I dont like what they did to it, wish theyd left it alone

So far they been good to me. I walked a cane and hard time walking. The greetings person see me coming he and know me start looking for a cart for me to ride for my shopping need. Whatever people say about this Walmart well I say they been great to me.

No complaints. Not too busy and the employees seemed less stressed than they did a couple months ago.

Dont see the point of having self checkouts if none offer a cash option. Must get in long line at regular register. Was trying to break a 100 dollar bill. Fill some machines w cash, they have the capacity.

My daughter had surgery so she needed an electric cart. Walmart failed to have any available. They had two working carts and over in the Walmart online pick up area there were three carts that were broken or not charged so we ended up leaving instead

Stopped to buy needed tools and supplies and a pair of coveralls. Replaced my nox sensor and took my 10 hour break

Most times they are pretty good, but stay away from automotive when the heavyset black girl is working if you have a question about anything. She is totally clueless when it comes to the dept. I have no clue why Walmart would put her in that department or anyone else that doesnt understand whats what.

Took almost an hour to exchange a bad battery. My mechanic tested and told me to take it back as it was still under warranty. Go to Walmart, they test and they insist battery is fine. Took it to Auto Zone. They test and tell me bad battery. Go BACK TO WALMART and they insist battery is good and against policy to exchange if it shows battery is okay. After an hour of this B.S. they finally agree to exchange it. Im 70 and had to resort to telling them that I was about to be the worst Karen they had ever encountered. Finally got my exchange, AFTER having to pay $100 for 2 emergency roadside jumps earlier that day. My honest opinion was that since the battery failure was due to a faulty unit Walmart should have reimbursed me for those charges. At the very least,offered a gift card. Tacky!

Bought gas & cigarettes. I was surprised there wasnt any Coke in bottles or cans! Staff was friendly & folks having problems with gas pumps were helped immediately!! Great experience!

Mother in-law needed a handicap cart to get around the store. The greeter was a guy wearing yellow vest and my wife asked the greeter where are the handicap carts. The greeter replied we do not have the handicap carts anymore. The greeter saw my mother in-law walking in with a walker. My wife walked to the southside of the store entrance and found the handicap cart. My wife brought the handicap cart to my mother in-law on the northside entrance. The greeter looked at my wife helping her mom into the cart. The greeter was to lazy to go get a handicap cart for my mother in-law and just lied, instead of helping. Curbside has terrible customer service, no respect for other people’s property (vehicle). I recommend going elsewhere. You tell management and they are not any better. This has to be the worst Walmart in Lubbock.

I love the remodel look! Store is clean and neat and well-stocked. I checked out in the garden area. No line. I found lots of inexpensive, fun things today and love reviewing items and checking prices on the app. Great shopping experience.

You can never go wrong with WalMart! Its affordable and has a wide variety of items to buy. I like getting my chicken breast from here. For parents its a great place to save a buck.

Concentration of panhandlers and homeless in the parking lot. Be alert after dark in this area. Too many vagrants hanging around the front of the store and parking lot in the morning and at night. These people seem harmless, just hungry and needy. On one occasion saw someone riding out on a brand new bicycle while the greeter was being distracted.

I prefer to shop online. Sometimes the workers are so rude. I dont go very often but when I do I try to just get what I need and go.

Make sure you lock your cars and make sure bikes are chained. Homeless are everywhere. Door greeters are very helpful and respectful

Great store. Had everything I needed. And last week, we were looking for certain types of foods, and the guys in the meat department well over and above to help us find what we needed.

This Walmart is ATROCIOUS and if you can make it to another location, literally ANY other Walmart is better. I dont even know where to start with this review. Ive got about 6 weeks worth of terrible experiences I could list here starting at the top with their worthless management team! I have seen them treat other customers with absolutely no respect with absolutely no remorse. The stripe is always poorly stocked and things thrown everywhere. Ive gone in twice in the last week to buy luggage and they have none and I cant get anyone in management to give me a straight answer on why there is no luggage when they are getting more. Order online is what I was told. If I wanted to order online I would. And if I wanted to wait in a line for 2 hrs because the self check out doesnt ever accept cash, I would have gone to another store. This has happened three times. Horrible staff and store esp the manager with the leg cast.

Do not order through DoorDash to this Walmart. Their system is terrible and take 45 minutes to an hour to get orders out. If your a dasher like myself do not accept an order from this location either because you will waste your time.

The Wal-Mart on Quaker is always stocked well. I live near the one on 114th and I prefer to make the further drive to this one.

This walmare has everything you could need and even though that are remodeling alittle it is still easy to maneuver.

Despite not speaking Allot to most of the employees. Its pretty easy to shop here, pretty cheap stuff too but some things are actually high quality. Im kinda sad to say but the only thing is is the fact that its very rare to see an employee behind the sporting goods check out.

The place you can buy anything you want in life except a house and a car. However they do carry an assortment of tents and bicycles.Big business does their part.

Curbside pickup at this store is a joke. Half the curbside spots were filled with cars parked backwards with no one in them... employees? Then I tried to call the curbside pickup number multiple times, it wasnt answered and went straight to a full mailbox, then hung up on me. So then I tried to call the main store line multiple times and speak to an associate. The phone was never answered on any of the calls... it just rang until it finally hung up on me. I kept trying to call as I walked inside. The pickup silo thing is, of course, broken, and theres a sign in front to call the same pickup number I had been trying before. I told the door person that I needed someone and calling wasnt working, and waited. I kept trying to call the main store number the whole time, and no one answered. I then went to see if the self-checkout person could help me, and they couldnt either. Still calling. No answer. Finally someone showed up, and had to go to the back again to get it. Never got any answer from the store number or the curbside pickup number. Not convenient, nor safe for vulnerable people trying to stay safe.

Review of the tire center. When we first pulled up the workers were all eating bananas and no one seemed to be working. I wish I was joking. Please do not waste your time here trying to get a flat repaired. After waiting for over an hour they texted to say my vehicle was ready but in actuality they didnt do anything to it. They claimed my flat was unrepairable and of course tried to push a new tire on me. The tire itself was brand new and had one tiny nail in it that I was able to get repaired at Youngs tire shop up the street. Couldve saved my self the grief by avoiding them the way I do discount tire.

Today in electronics and sporting goods both areas people that work in those areas were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Worst customer service experience EVERY!!!! If I could give it ZERO stars I would. The self checkout cashier Bee was beyond rude from the time we entered the checkout section, refused to let my husband and I purchase a 6 pack of beer because of my out of state temporary license even though my husband had his claiming I didnt look old enough. No manager on duty?! Sorry I am well over 45 and if I was able to get on an airplane with my State temporary license, I should have been able to buy a 6 pack of beer. The so-called person in charge claimed that they couldnt over ride any decisions and to call the manager in the morning. Its moving box season at the WalMart on Ave. Q! Come for the painted concrete floors; stay for the large single-wall cardboard boxes and packing tape. The employees were pleasant, if a little socially distant.

Self check out never has cash check outs. always being looked at as if I stole something. Walmart has over all gone down hill. Hardly any open registers with an actual human to cash you out. Whats the point of having all those registers and only have 5 out of 20 open?!?!

Horrible! Two items were higher once i checked out but i didnt notice until it gave me my receit. One was over $3 higher & another $1. higher. I asked the attendent if he could take one off there without going to customer service to which he replied neither because customer service is closed until tmrw. I should know better, they always have stuff thats higher once you check out than the tag states that is. Plus theyre self check registers are all down & have been for awhile(not to mention they so called remodeled which actually means we moved everything around in hopes that youll wander down every isle looking for what you need & buy stuff ya dont need!) Never again im done

Can be out of stock quite often. The team members do their best to move quickly, but at the end of the day it can be difficult to find the items I am looking for. The customer base is in downtown Lubbock, and there are lots of homeless people who loiter around and will not hesitate to ask for money. At night, there’s some lighting but it most certainly could be better. Good place to get some basic items quickly.

Great prices and shelves are always stocked for the most part. Entrance at automotive side and you can check out right before the exit to automotive. This helps when Im just buying fishing gear and I dont have to wait in any lines to pay for my purchases.

The remodel looks nice. Unfortunately this location closes at 12am which can stink if you are a late night worker and this is the closest grocery store. There is also a solicitation issue at this location as well. I get approached in the parking lot quite frequently which is very uncomfortable to deal with at times.

Got my friend, whos been placed in Lubbock hospitality nursing home a 32 TV with wall mount. His mom payed for it.

The customer service can be a bit lacking at times. But overall the cleanliness of the store the presentation of the displays and the management decision of having enough registers open at any given time makes this a pleasant shopping experience. And that despite the.... not most desirable neighborhood and denizens.

Typical walmart with lots of items sold out. This one in particular seems to have something against heaters. It was 50 degrees on the grocery side of the store and 60 degrees on the other side. Outside temp was probably in the 40s. I guess they want their customers to leave quickly.

I got a sub sandwich they usually good but this one was bad I dont who in the kitchen making them but they need to stop got home open up the sandwiche cheese and about 5 pieces of bacon and that was it on this big piece of bread and sold it for about 6dollars I had to add meat and cheese to have a decent sub sandwich bad work manship in the deli do better
