These guys know their stuff! We were looking for a filter for an old hot tub; they were our third try and the only store who took the time to look it up and find what we needed. Great service all the way around. We will skip the other two next time!

We were using another pool chemical company in town. With their suggestions our pool went from high chlorine to green in a day. We decided to try Pools West after many failed attempts to correct the problem along with rudeness. After a friend referral and two days we had great water and dealt with great service. Smiles, questions and answers, personal service and not being made to feel stupid was what we got from this company. We will be using only them from now on.

I found some posts reference this business and just wanted to express my experience with them. They have put two pools and a hot tub in my home over the years. I found them to be very reliable, experienced, and have gone above and beyond for me when I have asked for help. I understand every business cannot satisfy everyone but I must say I have never had them be rude to me or fail to contact me when requested to.

This place is the BEST. It was worth the drive to get what I needed to get my pool going. I will most definitely go here again. They are the most friendliest customer service. I most definitely recommend POOL WEST. Thank you again. 😀

Went in thinking I was only needing a couple hoses, but thankfully this wasn’t Spencer’s first rodeo and I ended up leaving with everything I needed to hook up my filter. He totally saved us from having to go back and forth, which is amazing because we live out of town.Great service, but SUPER busy at times. My mom and I went 30 minutes before they closed and it was died, but we also only ended up staying for 10 minutes, so don’t go last minute if you have a ton of questions, ‘cause I’m sure they want to get home.

I have dealt with Pools West for years and for years they have been our go to on our pool service, chemicals, pretty much anything we needed. They now deal with my daughters as one goes to Texas Tech and then our other daughter lives there with her husband and girls. I can tell you this place and employees are the top of the line. Best there is in my book. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. There customer service goes above and beyond. Even me living further away now when I call them they still ship me what I need or recommend what I should do even being so far away. You dont get that anymore. Customer service is amazing, prices are so reasonable, but best of all, because of Pools West, we finally understand the joy of having a pool. Working with a chain pool supply store for years brought frustration and lots of wasted money. The 3 step process we were introduced to has been super easy and has worked very well. No swamp this year, just crystal clear water!

Love our Hot Spring Hot Tub. Easy to take care of. We have had ours 5 years still like new. We have had minimal up keep issue and has been most enjoyable. We love that ours is a salt tub, it was recommended by physicians for health issue. It was very helpful for those issue. All supplies are readily available at Pools West and information for maintenance. Very well run family oriented business.

I have done business with Pool West for many years. They have done pool and spa repair. The work is always handled in a very professional manner. The chemicals are always fresh. So friendly and helpful! I needed to purchase several items and they helped me get exactly what I needed and carried it out and loaded it in my car for me. I had my grandkids with me and they gave them stickers and kept them occupied so I could concentrate on purchasing what I needed. Great customer service!

I’ve been going into Pools West for years!! They NEVER over charge and are good and honest people. They are the only ones who can clear up and keep your pool clear. Susan and Chelsea are always friendly no matter what.

New pool owner here. Was offered a visit with someone who would show me how my pool equipment works. I said ok. Guy came out for 20-30 minutes and showed me how all the valves and filters worked. Very helpful. The next day I got a call that I owed them 135 dollars. At no point when I was offered this service was I informed it would cost that much. When I mentioned I was never told the cost, the woman helping me said you didnt ask?. So the point is to ask how much everything is, even if they are offering it. I guess being voted Best in Lubbock isnt always the way to choose a business. For the record I would have paid for the service if they told me upfront. I found the way it was handled to be unsatisfactory.Update: Customers shouldnt have to ask how much something costs, that should be transparent. You do store credit, which was basically what occurred on my unopened/unused return.

We bought our pool over the phone, sight unseen. We could not be more happier with the pool and the service. They are a great family business and have taken care of our every need!!! We are so pleased with the service.

Purchased a Hot Springs Hot tub about a year ago and we love it!! Pools West has the best prices and service in town. The ladies in the store are incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the tub and chemicals. My tub was delivered quickly and Mark did not leave until we were comfortable with using our tub.

Horrible service! We made an appointment in early April to have a hot tub serviced it is now nearly June and the work has not been done.I went in the first week of May to get an idea of when we would be hearing from someone regarding the appointment, I was told we were on the schedule for the following week.This afternoon; 5-28-19, I called to check the status of our request, first I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes.When someone finally got on the line, I gave her the information for the account and contact phone number. I informed her my number should be on the information as point of contact and was RUDELY told if you want to be contacted you to have give me the number; which I had already given.I attempted to explain I was just letting her know I should be listed as the point of contact and there was no reason to speak to me the way she had. Rather than apologize or simply say thank you she decided the better course of action would be to hang up on a customer.I stopped by to speak to the owner or manager and was greeted by yet another extremely rude employee (Chelsea).I was informed she and another (Susan) were the only 2 there and that she did not answer the phones. When told the situation her response was,thats just the way it is!This sort of behavior should not be tolerated in any customer service industry, period!Update to this review... One hour after posting this review, Susan from Pools West called and told us we have 2 options... Take our review down and they would be out next week or find someone else to do the service.Needless to say we would rather spend our money with a reputable company who VALUES their customers.

They have been my go-to pool store for years. I love that I can take a water sample to their store and they will test it. They have always had the supplies I needed to get my pool in tip top shape. They have even serviced my pool several times. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Pools West owners and staff provided us with all the information we needed to decide on the best spa/hot tub for our family. The instillation and training went very well and they have been very attentive to our questions and needs. They gave us the name of a good electrician to install the electrical box, etc. We had to change our instillation appointment several times and they were very understanding and accommodating. We would highly recommend them to our family and friends. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

I have never had anyone go above and beyond to help someone. I had been going to another company and felt very uncomfortable every time I went in. Some treated you like, You should know the answer to that question. Never explained how to do or use something. A friend told me about Pools West and how helpful they are.....Went in there and explained my situation and didnt know a lot on what to do. Susan and Chelsea both got together and figured out what I needed to do. After going in about 3 times they came up with what the problem was. Soooo thankful for them. This is the place to get all your pool needs. I can finally use my pool. So thankful for them.

Pools West is the best place in town to have your pool water computer tested, with the most knowledgeable and honest owners of the business. My pool water has never been anything but perfectly clear for the past five years I have had my pool. I thought I would just see what another popular pool store would tell me about the same water sample I took to Pools West. After hand mixing with many different drops, turning the water sample almost black, I was told I had a lot of problems with my water (phosphates), etc. and my water would soon be dark green. I was told I should buy all kinds of chemicals that would have cost hundreds of dollars. I had already tested my water and knew it only needed acid. I went to Pools West, had the water tested by the computer, and I was correct. I was being way oversold at the other store in town. Susan and her staff at Pools West are very honest, selling you only what you need and I appreciate their service very much.
