I’ve had my 2020 ninja for a year and a half now and all I’ve had is horrible experiences with the service department, I don’t know if because I had warranty they take they’re sweet time, every time they’ve had it it’s been more than two week periods even for a tire and ignition switch change out. most recent I took my bike in for bearing issues and got the bike back with the front wheel chipped at where I’m assuming they pried the tire off because the marks are symmetrical around the rim. DO NOT BRING YOUR MOTORCYCLES TO BE SERVICED HERE.

Chandler is awesome to work with. He outfitted both myself and my son with motorcycle helmets, was patient and guided us along the different options. I wound up having to exchange my original helmet bought here with another brand because of sizing issues and the process was seamless. He also wired our Sena systems to both helmets. The entire atmosphere here is relaxed with no pressure. This is where we will get our gear and I highly recommend you go here if that’s what you’re needing.

This a great spot. The staff took on the delivery of ATVs smoothly. It looks to tight for an 18 wheeler on the map but theres plenty of room

Ive done business with Family Powersports in Lubbock twice now. I bought a new Honda CRF450R in 2010 with no issues. I came back a few weeks ago from the Canyon/Amarillo area to buy a 2022 Can-Am Defender. Parker in sales was great. There was no beating around the bush on price and we did everything over the phone. Customer service and delivery was top-notch. Took the unit back a week later to install parts and ran into some minor issues, but Duck, George, and Ty took care of the issue and went above and beyond to make it right. I live an hour and a half away and because of the minor set back, they detailed my unit, delivered in to my house once service was complete the next business day and Ty hooked me up with some parts to keep my business. He also offered to pay for my fuel, but I wouldnt allow it. They all strive to please the customer and communicate effectively and will exceed expectations. I will recommend and will be back for repeat business in the future.

Just bought my first bike here. Being a beginner, I decided to look into getting a grom. When I arrived and did my search through the store, I talked to Cade. He showed me the grom but also showed me the ninja 400 as an alternative bike for beginners. I fell in love with it instantly. Cade was knowledgeable and patient with the wife and I. I recently purchased a Can-Am Commander from Family Motorsports in Lubbock. My sales representative was a gentleman named Shane who was amazing. The dealership did not have a commander in stock but Shane spent time looking to find one. I had called 17 other dealerships and had not received this level of service.Most of my purchase was done over the phone. Which was very convenient for me as I did not live in Texas.At the time of purchase I ordered a windshield which was to be sent to my home at a later date as I did not have one in stock. Upon receiving it parts were missing and I contacted Austin in the parts department and within four days he had the part in stock ready to be shipped to me.I was also able to this company to purchase insurance through Allstate on site so that my side-by-side was insured before it left the dealership.I have been very impressed with this dealership and have already referred people from Colorado and Texas to them.

First and for most, I absolutely like my 2021 YZ250F monster special edition, fresh new look with great body lines. I highly recommend Jeff Apuan. He takes care of you personally. I called around my area (El Paso, Tx) and all they did was tell me they did not have any and if i wanted one I needed to put down $500. So being from Lubbock, Tx (Guns Up!!!), I called and spoke with Jeff personally. He was very informative, and told me he would start looking for one. That same day he contacted me and found one. Jeff not only kept his word he also kept up with the order all the way until the end. He told me it would be in Lubbock in two weeks at the latest three. We drove 5.5 hrs to pick up the bike. I did not mind the trip because Jeff made it worth it. When we met he was very happy and had all things in order. He made me and my family feel very welcome. The service team here is absolutely amazing! I was riding through Lubbock on day one of a seven day trip and somehow sprung an oil leak. I called them and they said to bring it in and they’ll take a look at it right away. As soon as I got there the service foreman checked it out, understood that my buddies had gone ahead without me and that I needed to get back on the road as quickly as possible, and he got the bike up on a lift even though they were super busy and didn’t have any availability. He put one of his best technicians on it and they had me out of there within an hour and I caught up with my group that night. Unbelievable. Thank you thank you thank you for actually caring about my situation and taking care of me. You guys saved the day. And my trip!

Came into town and my 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan nomad had a rear tire that was about to blow. I took it in the parts department told me they had the tire I could buy in stock so I went to the service department and they told me they would put it in for me on the spot. It was almost the end of the day and they squeezed me in. I truly appreciate it getting taken care of took a little longer than expected, but still very thankful to get the job done on a Friday afternoon. My dsughter bought her first bike on Tuesdsy, Honda Rebel 300cc. Great salesman, service dept was helpful and showed my daughter around the bike answering every question. Finance dept was friendly and very customer friendly. Great job!!

The salesman did everything he could to make it up to me after the service charged me 80 bucks for a clutch adjustment when all it needed was fuel cleaner. I appreciated him doing what he could to make it right not many companies do that. I would totally give them 5 stars if they would not overprice their motorcycles. I got my Honda rebel at David brown in Amarillo for 6,100. They were charging 8,000 so obviously I bought it from David brown.

Took my bike in to Family Power Sports cause it was leaking fork oil. Fork seals were replaced and unfortunately needed a dampening rod as well. Duck and Tyson in the service shop were able to order the dampening rod and complete the necessary repairs in a timely manner! Bike rides way better than what it did prior to taking it in! Thank you!

So there I was, 350 miles into my IBA SaddleSore1000 ride and tragedy struck. My front tire on my 07 Harley Street Bob was loosing air like the Hindenburg. I knew I couldn’t continue the ride in that condition so I started googling and after no luck with a couple small shops I caved in and gave the Harley dealership a call still hopeful I could get it fixed quick and finish my 1,000 miles in 24 hours. The Harley guy laughed me off the line when I requested to be seen in the next hour or two then told me they didn’t have the tire or tube in stock I would need, so the best he could do is have me back on the road in a couple of days. I asked if he knew any reputable shops to call and he recommended Family PowerSports with the stab comment of “but they get all their stuff from us so I doubt they will have what you need.”On the contrary! I called and spoke with J.C., explained to him the problem I was having and the time crunch I was in and without hesitation he told me to head their way and I would be taken care of. Nothing could be more true! I pulled up, handed over the keys and to the shop it went. They found a poorly installed tube was the culprit (Thanks Honda dealership in Shawnee Ok) within 2 hours of showing up they had it diagnosed, fixed, tested, and the keys back to me.And the cherry on top?! They didn’t charge me a dime!! This place not only does an incredible job with the quality of work, they truly understand the benefit of not kicking a man when he is down or taking advantage of a situation.I was passing through and hundreds of miles from home and these guys took care of me without hesitation. I’m only giving 5 stars because that’s all google will let me.Thanks to their timely, accurate, and effective services, I was able to complete my 1,000 miles in 24 hours! Without them I’d still be sleeping in a hotel waiting for Harley to order me a new tube.

My Ryker Rally broke down in Lubbock on our way to Colorado. JC and the guys in the service department went and picked up my bike and took it right in to check it out. Unfortunately I dont remember everyones name but they are awesome and made me feel at ease. Would highly recommend them if ever asked.

I run the Hunting with Soldiers Organization. We recently had two 4 wheelers donated to us to help get the Veterans to and from their hunting areas. They needed some work. We took them to Family Power Sports in Lubbock to have them worked on to be very dependable for the Veterans. We originally thought the cost to have both repaired was going to be around $3500.00. Then they advised $3000.00. I received a call stating they were ready. Then I was advised of the cost. $240.00. WOW, only $240.00. They donated the rest because they like what we do as a Non Profit for the Combat Veterans. Hunting with Soldiers can not thank Family PowerSports in Lubbock enough for their wonderful Generosity. They are some Super People there. We were worried about the cost, and had held off on posting some trips for the Veterans because of the expected expense. Now we are posting more trips. You have allowed us to help more Combat Veterans.

On 28 May 2021 I visited Family Power Sports to pay for and pick up the motorcycle I had decided to purchase. I first visited with thoughts of purchasing a Honda Goldwing but after my wife informed me she would not ride with me I decided to purchase a Cruiser bike. Upon entering the store I met Jeff Aupuan who asked me some questions about what I intended to do with the bike and guided me in the direction of a few Indians, Yamahas, Harleys and Hondas. Quite a lot to look at! This subsequent discussion was very helpful and also helped me face up to my level of experience and perhaps I was not ready for a Goldwing (ha ha). I ended up with the bike I think is perfect for me and I think Ill have it for a long time. Its a thrill to ride and I am able to operate it, ride it with success and fun. Jeff was very helpful in describing the pros and cons of the different types of bikes and explained some of the differences and variations. This really made me think and evaluate what it was I wanted and helped me to develop a list of pros and cons for each bike. The one I selected won hands down. My choice was not emotional or a throw of the dice but intelligent and thought out. Jeff also pointed me towards taking the MSF course as I was a returning rider absent motorcycles for last 18 years maybe it would help me?? Sure did and through doing that, combined with purchasing the bike there I received a $220.00 gift card to purchase things in their store. Thanks Jeff. Awesome job.On the day I went to pick it up Cody took me to the garage and gave me a walk-around and explained parts of the bike and all. What a exciting moment. Then Cameron in parts helped me review the accessories I had ordered and gave me one that had come in. Angie in finance did the final paperwork and was a real dear (listened to all my stories).If you are interested in purchasing something like a motorcycle I recommend Family Power Sports Lubbock to you for your most serious consideration as a place to make your purchase.

Ive been trying to get a bike for a long time. the time finally came to get it done. i got ahold Michael Thero amd he went straight to wotk. the bike i wanted at the odessa location was already under contract so that was out. he knew what i wanted and what i wanted to spend so he started looking. i wanted a touring bagger but there just was no luck at the time. Thero sent me pictures of a 2017 Victory High Ball that he had been hiding from the public for a while and that was it. i knew i had to have it. that evening, i went and gave her a good look over and decided she was the one. after putting a deposit down, we made an appointment to have me come in and take her for a quick ride and sign paperwork.i got there and took the bike out. she rides like a dream. smooth with plenty of power from the 106 V-Twin. got back to the dealership and Dalton got me setup with a new helmet and Sena unit. showed me how to operate it and installed it for me.the guys in service were great. Duck and Marcus have been there since i worked there and they were super helpful with the questions i had.Joe Bradley gave me a great walk around to refresh my memory on how things on the bike work.Angie made the signing process super easy wand was very straight forward. she did an amazing job of explaining everything to me as we went along.finally, i went and saw Miss Johnson in the insurance department. i had set up everything with her previously so i was in and out in minutes.the team at Family Powersports took amazing care of me and my needs. i would highly recommend them for any needs you may have. i know ill be back.

I just want to say that these guys are GREAT! Its easy to take for granted their hospitality. You see, plenty of dealerships wont service a bike that is more than 10 years old. They fixed my 05 Honda Shadow Spirit VT750. It wasnt some weird fee. They named their price and stuck with it. Ive been to other places where they said that they couldnt look at my bike because it was too old. Not sure if they just too lazy because they couldnt hook a computer to tell them what was wrong, or because they want people to buy bikes and not keep their old ones.I really respect that they give a veterans discount. I also think they give a first responder discount and a student discount, but Im not 100% on that. This just shows the love they have for people who serve this country and community. Im very disappointed that Harley-Davidson doesnt offer this. Dont get me wrong, Ive been to the Harley-Davidson dealership and they were just as friendly. Both dealerships didnt pressure me to buy anything. I think we all understand the love for motorcycles, so we want to help each other. HD just doesnt have the corporate support that Family Powersports has with the top brass.Please, support this store. If we keep ordering off of Amazon, these guys will have to close down. They take the time out to help each customer. I dont think they are in any danger of closing because I have seen plenty of people there, but its always good to support local. You cant go wrong with these guys.

Just bought my first bike from Duck on Wednesday. Duck was super helpful. Called him on Tuesday night inquiring about a Vulcan 900 Custom. He was on it Wednesday morning and had me an answer by lunch time. I had gone in a few weeks prior on Black Friday and I will say the salesman I had worked with that time seemed like he just wanted the customer in and out of there. Was a different story this time around. Duck is great to work with and I’ll definitely be purchasing from him again down the line! Also have to say Mario in the parts department is awesome as well, he walked me through all the gear and hooked me up with the necessary equipment to keep me safe on the road. Kayla got me hooked up with a great insurance policy so very pleased with that as well. She is very courteous and you can tell she cares about her customers so you gotta appreciate that! Thank y’all for working with me and getting me on my first bike! Already enjoying it!

I had an issue with my dirt bike and Duck from the service department was a huge help with assuring the proper parts and services were executed for the optimum performance of my bike.
