Massingills is a great meat market, old style like you remember as a kid. I get all my smoked summer and link sausage here. I grew up in Lufkin but live in Houston these days I call these guys up and tell them what I need, they pack it and have it ready to pick up when I get there. Wonderful meat market in Central/ Lufkin. Great customer service with the ability to call in orders for lots of different things in advance. For large orders, they will vacuum seal the meats so you can place the freezer for extended periods. Additionally, if you have livestock youd like to slaughter, they can take care of this for you as well.

Wonderful place to do business.My son was called out to an accident involving a full grown cow and a truck. The beef had to be put down. He ended up bringing the cow home to avoid wasting the meat. We quartered it up and took it to Massingills to be processed. These folks are affordable, friendly and professional. They let us bring the quartered beef in on the spot. Their packaging is quality for long freezer life. I have only good things to say about my experience.Thanks Massingill Team

I have been buying my meats from Massingills Meat Market in Lufkin/Central on 69 North since 1980. I have always had the friendliest service and spoke to the most wonderful people. Hey they are just plain folks like me. I order my hind quarter cut up just like I want it and as thick or thin as I want it and they fix my meat just like I order it. Even my pork and my chicken comes exactly the way I order it. They wrap it like I ask so it will fit into my freezer right. They are so much cheaper than B. B.& WM, you just cannot go wrong buying your meat there. Their meat also tastes better too. They also offer other things like their own homemade sausage and links. You like things spicy, you got it, they will fix it for you. I am not kin to them but they make me fill like I am part of their family. I would not buy my meats anywhere else. Just a wonderful business/people. If you havent tried it, just go by there and buy one of their boxes or just one meal of meats and try them. Tell them Frankie O. sent you. You wont get anything, but great friendly service, good prices, and great food. But you will go back.

I live in Grapeland, an hours drive away, and I wont buy meat any other place. Excellent quality meat products. A true meat market. Excellent steaks custom cut. Top grade ground chuck. Good service. Good people. Real butcher shop. These are the sweetest people. They treat everyone with courtesy and respect. Awesome family.

Fast pleasant service. They cut meat at your request and at the thickness you desire. There choices of precut are very thick and satisfying for a majority of the time. It is a real meat market in the same vain as years ago when I was a kid.

Best meat market around, everything you could possibly need and much more. All the standard cuts plus custom requests and pretty much anything you want. Amazing summer sausage and beef jerky as well. They process deer during season with fast fair pricing. Friendliest folks in town. I couldnt be more satisfied, highly recommended.

We were pleased to find a full-service butcher shop so close to our home. The staff is knowledgeable about the products and how their to be prepared. Theyre always willing to give you more information if you need it. We have found their meat to be high quality and their ground chuck to be less fatty and greasy than what we find at a local grocery store. The only thing that I wish They Carried more of was fresh fruits and vegetables that would be good to serve with the meat. I also wish that they would consistently have more dairy products comma cheese, bread and other things that you could make a complete meal with. They have deer processing services which would be a popular future for the area however we have never used that.

Ive bought sausage from here for several years as we cant get Bo Jackson sausage in Dallas. They have started making their own sausage which is also very good. Everyone has always been very friendly and easy to work with every time Ive visited. Great place.

They make their own summer sausages and smoked sausages that are fantastic. We love their German sausage. Highly recommend Massingills to everyone.

Incredibly nice and patient! I called asking for deer processing info, since Ive never shot one, and the guy I talked to spent the time to explain everything. He was nice, calm and patient. All this on the day before Thanksgiving! 3 hours from closing early!

I needed pork fat to make sausage and after searching all over Nacogdoches and Lufkin, Massingills is the only place that had what I was looking for and the place was clean and the people even looked clean cut and professional. You should already know how rare that is these days.
