What a great Wal-Mart. I really appreciate them! Lots of staff, always great service at curbside, fair prices, and well stocked for an extremely busy store.Tip the curbside associates if you can, they deserve it! They work very hard! Just look at this Sunday line!

I have waited for 15 minutes and called 30 times on the phone with only 5 people in the pickup line before me for no one to answer the phone.Unfortunately 5 more people pull in after me and get their things before me while I waited 30 minutes and still received no help.If people want to protest gaining 15 dollars an hour, they need to work. That’s why retail gets a bad name.I have called time and time again with no answer and the pickup isn’t busy at all.

I wish there was an option to give this store a lower rating. Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, grocery pickup is obviously the safest option for consumers and staff. The store even advertises it as such. What they don’t advertise is how inept their staff is. After hours spent on the phone with the 800-customer service, hours spent waiting in the parking lot for them to bring out orders (and most of the time items are missing), I give. I will be going to Kroger’s in Nacogdoches from now on. Today’s adventure began with them advising the order was ready for pickup. We arrived at 5:16 pm. It is now 7:00 and the order is still not loaded. However, the app says the order was picked up at 5:16 pm. None of the associates know where the order is. At about 45 minutes into the wait, one associate said she’d have someone quickly pick the order and that it should only take “15-20 minutes.” Again, we arrived at 5:16 and it is 7:00 and we still don’t have the order. If you value your time and sanity, shop elsewhere. However, if you want to spend hours on the phone arguing with the 800-number about your orders (because the store personnel will not assist you and will only tell you to call the 800-number), go there. I won’t even get started on how they bag the food and how carelessly it is thrown into the trunk.

I tried pickup for the first time ever and i was skeptical as I have previously heard of my friends trying and having a lit of issues with it.Going into the pickup I was optimistic.Only two criteria I really hoped it would meet is accurate order items and timely delivery.In todays workforce, expecting much more wouldnt really be fair.The items were correct, but the only complaint I have is the delivery-i was there a couple minutes after the hour of my pickup time. Not only did the app check me in and confirm order pickup, but also employees were already outside with my order (mostly meats). Maybe only a couple of minutes, but this couldve been better.

Lufkin had the complete Villians Marvel Legends line and thats is gone in 100% of all big city Walmarts so it was nice to see. I regret not getting Baron zemo now. Hes had to find in the Big Cities. These smaller town cities in rural areas have great toys selection. Especially the old Mimi marvel toys like I have just posted. Toy hunters unite.

This walmart super center is very clean and organized. The staff offers help when you need it. Also you can easily find what you need because its not cluttered. Picking up money is easy and the lines moves quickly. You will enjoy shopping here. Thanks Walmart!

The workers are getting more rude and dumb by the minute! Cone on and just let the computers take their job to get it done better, faster and less rudeness!

I only gave 1 star not because they deserve the star but I wanted to leave a comment. My husband and I went here for a few things we needed but some of the employees really need to stay at home because if they have attitudes they shouldnt be working period. We were at the self checkout lanes and we needed assistance so my husband asked the female for assistance. She responded by saying oh no you just didnt I was like what? Ms Thing got mad because my husband asked her for assistance. Then another attendant came from chuckled and said that the female was on break. I said that doesnt give her a right to be rude. Its understandable if a customer is rude but my husband was polite. They really need to fire them and retrain all employees to be better associates.

Its always a pleasure for me the employees (the ones Ive encountered) are very pleasant. Walmart anywhere is always my go to for everything. Im always greeted with a smile.They make sure to disinfect all their buggies when bringing them from outside.I only wished theyd carry children recliners in-store 😞

The store and the service was good but their new pick up order app is not so much. If you add items after initial order it does not delete previous items from your cart. You have to go back and edit items so you dont have re f which ou ordered.

After shopping and having no electric carts charged for customers to use my sister and I were in extreme pain. Not a place 1 to sit down could be found. And after having back surgery my sister had to sit on the floor. Not 1 associate checked on her while several passed right by. This tells me that your associates dont care about our health in your establishment.

I dont see like shopping at Walmart. I will never be we shop at Walmart. Walmart is why we do not have neighborhood but her shops, hardware stores as we once did. Its very difficult to get a crown roast or custom butcher orders. Can buy bones anymore to make homemade stock. Every time I see Walmart I remember the damage they have done to communities.

Walmart Suppercenter in Lufkin is okay with me.I usually find what I need there. The only problem is you have to have patience,the line can be pretty long and lacking checkers. And self check can also be await. Its like everyone has finished shopping at the same time. Its one of my favorite places to shop 😍

Walmart has been a good store for getting baby necessities and general necessities and even groceries! But using there pickup services on their app has been terrible! The few times I’ve used pickup they have said the item was available for purchase and then when I go to pick it up they have substituted items and said if I didn’t like the substitution I could return the items! Well the first time they still had the item but whoever got my order ready didn’t bother looking hard enough for it and I was able to get the real thing but this last time they substituted an item for something I didn’t want and the app said I could start a return for it if I didn’t want it after I received it and then when I tried it said my purchase was not available for refunds or returns!! So Walmart made me purchase something i didn’t want or need and forced me to keep it! I’m extremely dissatisfied with how pickups have turned out and don’t plan on using it in the future!

One of the better Walmart Supercenters in the area. The dairy selection was better than the others Ive visited. However, the floor layout made little sense, and random items were out of stock, like cream cheese, frozen broccoli, and blue poster putty. Classic Walmart.

Fully stocked shelves and helpful staff. I just wish all Walmart stores would have the same floor plan. Several East Texas towns arent too far from each other, but each store is completely different. I have the Walmart app, but still inconvenient having to look around for basic items. No complaints about this particular store.

Terrible. My order was cancelled and they didnt have enough sense to call me to tell me. After I arrive and waited 15 minutes they come out to tell me its been cancelled. Then I ask to speak to a manager.... Wait 15 more minutes for him. He never showed, so I ended up going into the store and getting my food that I ordered. Just not good customer service.

Beware of the substitutions for pick up because they may not know the difference between regular milk & almond milk. I was told that I would have to call Walmart for a refund.. This Walmart doesnt answer the phone. It just rings & rings for 4 minutes & then hangs up. The 1 time someone did answer.. I was on hold for over 10 minutes. Sorry excuse for customer service!

This is the biggest Walmart in East Texas, yet it takes the longest to get out of. They use only half of their registers run by people, yet they dont expand their self checkout any further than 8 small stations on each side of the store. I run into more employees that are in my way than customers because they dont consider the customer valuable. They no longer stay open 24 hours because they use the closed time for stocking, but they are still offloading trucks during peak customer shopping times. Just overall bad management of time, space, and employees.

Very few sales staff could be found when needed. The lady is Electronics was very kind and helpful tho

Its ok, very small so the selection is limited. Had my tires balanced and that experience was great the cashier was very pleasant!

The small things mean the most, so just to see the smiles on the employees faces as well as hear the hellos and good mornings make the shopping experience so worth while

Im speaking about the Walmart in Lufkin Texas. Myself an a friend tried to reach the Manager Lori Norman we called 12 times an was transferred to the service desk where it was answered an put into a never end ring where after a very long time was then disconnected. We ask to speak to yhe manager the assistant manager anybody with some kind of knowledge that could tell me where i cam find where the Wal-Mart return policy was written down so that i could read said policy myself. Im still eanting to know where it is written so i may see exactly ehar is said. I was given about 5 or 6 different policies on return procedure. The 2 ladies at the service desk were rude an sharp mouthed with me. The lady answering the phone the first time was very nice an polite. But the service desk were rude annkept putting me on a never ending never answered call. I am very upset about the entire ordeal. Ana

This is one of my favorite Walmarts! I am gluten free & they have PLENTY of options both in the dry & frozen sections. I have also noticed that it’s never too crowded & it doesn’t take long to checkout.

Could stand to be cleaned more, Several staff need to be cleaning at all times. Stockers and paid shoppers should work at night to leave room for self shoppers. More checkout people not self checkout. Just my humble opinion.

This is our hometown store, and you cant find anything. They keep moving everything to different places, and half of the store was poorly stocked. Was not happy or impressed. And with all the check out stands they have, only a few open makes for super long lines which is ridiculous. They do have several self check outs, but why go to a self check and put employees out of a job?

Most of the employees are awesome you can find what you need. Its just weird that theyve got all that no stuff up like the little Gates that open automatically and they keep trying to push the vaccine on people its weird.

NO CASHIERS IS A TOTAL JOKE There are even lines at self check out. The reason for 2 stars is the fact a checker saw me struggling with a broken leg and opened a line to help me. She was awesome and stayed through her break to help the folks behind me. Billionaires that dont need more money need to spend some to keep that customer relationship. I feel like Im in the 80 shop in Back To Future with the robots taking the orders. Sad. I shop at Brookshire Bros for that reason.

The crawfish wasnt purged so I couldnt eat them and the crab was just... boiled... no flavor. I love the aesthetic. But I wouldnt return.

It was overall not a family friendly place despite having a section for toys and kid stuff. The employees were very rude and the restrooms were disgusting.

Ridiculous. Same customer at the money service counter for an hour and nobody came to help. 15 people stood waiting and wasting their time, because Walmart doesnt care about our time and money, unless we are spending it.

Walmart supercenter in Lufkin has the best customer service associates in fabric. Miss Margaret has always been so helpful, she cuts that fabric straight every time. I really appreciate her kind disposition and the way she always help me find exactly what I need.

While visiting my son, checked out for hobby objects and had fair success, making the stop worth it, although they need to stock car collections better as many pegs were empty but had plenty of Hot wheels...lol

Hey its Walmart. Just like plenty other big, small companies, corporations and whatnots. You get in, get what you want or just strictly whats of absolute importance. Not getting over on anything. Just a continuance of repetition and sedation and control until whats next to come about.

The lines were long in the checkouts and no Express lines were open. I am glad to see this Walmart still has cashier checkout lines and has not converted to self checkout only. The Walmarts going self checkout only need to be shut down or changed back. Self checkout should only be used for 5 or fewer items. Self Checkout also increases the chances of theft.

Same old / not enough checkers / no employees around when you need to ask a question / always knows, when I do go there / its always chaos / I do like some the clothes they have & shoes /

I ordered an order on Tuesday to be picked up today Thursday at 4-5pm. At 3:30pm I had not received an email or text message telling that order had been picked, so I called them, they told me they didnt have any order for me. I told them that I had an email showing order, order number, date and time to be picked up. I had to call cooperate to have issue resolved .This is very unusual and not good business like to have customers to have to do this. Dont waste your time on this store, not worth it.

Rude workers. It took me 23 minutes to get checked out. And that was the speedy checkout. And there was only two people in front of me . But the lady in front had a basket full at the 20 or less . The Lufkin Walmart is one of the worst .

I called before coming because it was my eldest daughters birthday, she is also autistic and when she wants something oh by golly you better get it LOL. She wanted a doll that I couldnt find anywhere else and I wanted to make sure that even though it said that they had it online that they really did have it before I drove that far. the staff was nice enough to look for me as well as hold it until I got there, when I walked in everyone was friendly and helpful, the store was also very clean and well organized I was very impressed.
