Reasonable service costs..
I dont think I could have had a better experience at Southern Tractor. Mark was great and patient with us picking out a zero turn mower and the staff was very sweet with my daughter. Mark made sure we got what we needed and nothing we didnt for a good price.

I have not had any dealings with the maintenance department of this organization, which is where a lot of these negative reviews appear to be directed.I did however buy a zero turn type mower from them recently.The process was smooth and trouble free. I was given an excellent deal.When his normal delivery guy was not available, he brought it to me himself in the back of his truck.I would highly reccomend them in this case. As time goes on I will update this review accordingly, but so far I love this place.
This place has awesome customer service. They will walk you through any questions you have, happily let you test drive any of their mowers, teach you the differences between models and treat you like family. They made sure I knew how to properly operate and maintain the equipment I purchased. Do not let the other bad reviews fool you. I could not be happier with my decision on choosing Southern Tractor.

If it was possible to leave negative stars I would. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! As a single mother I took my mower in and paid $600 for them to repair it after they supposedly repaired it I had to take it back three additional times they knew that I had no way of taking it up there after getting several friends to help me get the mower up there they tried to charge me $25 each time to bring it back to my home even though the problem was on them. I also ended up buying a $300 weed eater from them and when I got home and took it out of the packaging I homes fell off so I took it back up to Southern Tractor and they gave me the run-around on it so I told them they could just take it back and they charged me a $25 restocking fee. This place is nothing but a scam.
I needed a blade sharpened and that is exactly what I got at no cost and it was quick service. When I was leaving the guys asked if it was sharpened to my likening, I would recommend this store!!!
Hustler mower is a great mower!! But the service department in Lufkin, Texas is HORRIBLE!! Dropped my mower off on Thursday morning to have a belt put on it and its now Saturday morning and I picked it up without the belt being put on!! They havent gotten to it!! Just dont get in a hurry!! Can you say ridiculous? And they didnt even have a reason or even act they cared that I picked it up. Somethings wrong with that!!
Service is beyond horrible, they have had my mower in for an engine rebuild (something my uncle does regularly in his repair shop in a day or less) for 6 weeks and 3 days. There was some delay because of Kawasaki, they denied my warranty claim ( engine only has 90 hours on it) but I agreed to pay and authorized the repair weeks ago. Hustler is a great mower, Kawasaki is USUALLY a decent engine, but the net is full of stories of warranty claim denials by Kawasaki....I should have researched that more. Ill never buy another mower powered with Kawasaki and after this experience, I wouldnt take a tricycle for service at Southern Tractor.All of this in addition to the Southern Tractor Willis, Texas location having my mower for two weeks and charging me 138 dollars to attempt repair and then sending me to the Lufkin location when they couldnt fix it.Do yourself a favor and never, ever.....ever take anything to Southern Tractor for repair. .
The customer service is horrible! They are rude and gave the wrong parts 2 times. Thats why I bought my new mower from Robinson Outdoor Power in Nacogdoches.
