I am very happy to have chosen this store. Ive never had a tire replaced in this county, so Ive been searching for a long time to see which tire store would be better.Mavis is closer to my house and offered a lower price, but I chose ETD. In particular, the ETD Lyndhurst branch has been booked here because both Google and Yelp have great reviews, and so far I am very satisfied.The sales manager Orlando did a great price match for me, and thanks to the mechanic who replaced my tires quickly and without problems in an hour. (Sorry, I dont know his name.)If youre a busy and cant wait longer, make a reservation at 7:30AM. They will have everything ready for you and provide a very fast service.

Efficient and good people. Got my 05 X-Type a new set of brake pads in less than 3 hours. A bit pricey for the job, but what could ya expect with a foreign model. Couldve been 5 stars if they cut some slack on the price a bit, but overall quality job so far.

I made an appointment to have my battery replaced since on occasion I would get a message reading “low battery”. The technician Luciano ran a check on the battery which showed the battery was still good. I always had a feeling that this business was honest in my past experiences. Now I know for sure that they are very honest. Thank you Luciano for being honest & not changing the battery that is still good. I will always come back to ETD in Lyndhurst for my auto needs. Initially tried to save some money and went to a different shop to mount and balance my tires. The steering wheel shake was TERRIBLE. Went back twice to rebalance the tires and the shake was still there…Stopped at EDT and spoke to Joe, who is one of the nicest guys I ever met. He didn’t try to sell me anything extra and explained everything to a T, he recommended the Road Force Balancing. After the road force balancing the shake is gone and the car drives beautifully!!Not many people know about Road Force but it’s a better way of balancing tires, ask Joe about it or do some research on it. Can’t recommend ETD and road force enough!! Fixed what a regular balancing machine couldn’t do. Thanks again Joe!!

It’s the same product as the dealer and the service and the price can’t be matched by any dealer. The entire front desk team Dave, Jo-ed and Ray provide honest top notch customer service every single time. The service can’t be beat!

I want to thank Dave the Manager for being such a true professional... my wife bought tires at 2 other Sub par competitors stores and got nothing but the run around from Sears and Mavis😡 Dave was a true professional! He went investigated the tires for this type of vehicle and read more into the issues. We came back he found the right tires for her. Dave is true professional!! He made us feel comfortable and he said to bring it back if theres an issue..never was! He was great!! It really got stressful having a tow truck pick your wife up 3 times in one year cause there competition didnt know what theyre doing..incredible!! But the new tires he got us are absolutely awesome! so good that I bought a new set of tires for my truck and referred 3 of my friends! After bringing my fiancé’s car to two other tire shops that were unable to resolve my problem, I finally brought it to ETD. With Joe as my representative, the process was seamless. His constant and thorough communication, professionalism, and overall consumer care made for a positive experience during an otherwise frustrating situation. ETD should have been my first choice and will be my only choice for all of my vehicle repairs moving forward.

I take no responsibility at all -RayIf you want the job done wrong and to be charged for it everything they screw it up, this is the place for you.1. Put new wheels on for me which were different than my old wheels didnt check for clearance and the tires ate themselves in about 10 miles, I noticed when I jumped on the highway and there was a giant cloud of white smoke and a strong rubber burning smell. The rear tires were rubbing the fram which should have been obvious to the installer---so another $550 dollars i had to pay them to fix an issue they should have checked for.2. I got it home and was planning to change the shocks. went to take the wheel off and they had cross-threaded one of the lug nuts. Really. So now Monday Ill have to have another conversation with them which I expect they will also try to take no responsibility at all for.

Very bad experience.I get here for wheel alignment. They cut out bolt and they let me pay for bolt also labor for bolt take out $160 just labor. This people try still money.

Been going here for years and never had a problem. I guess times change. Brought in a new tire and reconditioned wheel (looked brand new) due to a blowout thanks to a large pothole. A simple tire and wheel install couldnt be done without maring up the wheel. If you care about your wheels I suggest you take it elsewhere.

Joed has been the best customer service person Ive encountered in years not only in this shop but over all...including retail, restaurants, etc.He realky takes the time to explain absolutely everything, your options, transparency, and the shop guys do an exceptional job all the time they are poñite and very very professional...I do recommend this place 10000% with the downside of making it even harder to get an appointment....they are always booked.

Terrible experience. No knowledge.. couldnt even detect a cracked wheel after specifically asking to check before spending 1500$ on new tyres. Not to mention first set of tyres they tried to install where low in speed rating knowing its a sports car. Before purchasing they said wheels are perfect.. after purchasing sir theres a crack.. nothing we can do now. Wow something funny here... to ice it off I have a big chip on my wheel that I know wasent there because I checked before taking the car there.. I suggest you take pics before you go

I use ETD Tire in Lyndhurst for mostly everything. Joe is a true GEM. He makes you feel at home and explains all the services in details. The staff doesn’t recommend things that doesn’t need to be done on your vehicle, unless like other places especially car dealerships. You should bring your car to Joe and ETD staff for your routine car service and check ups.

Fast and friendly. Ill definitely be using them for oil changes and tire replacements. Pricing is where youd expect it to be.

Getting a flat tire is obviously annoying and a huge inconvenience. Joe and the team here made it a happy turnaround for me. After getting flat in the target parking lot I called up this tire place and joe walked me through the whole thing of what to do, looked up to see if they had my tire in stock (they did not) but placed an order for me to get it the next morning. The whole process was painless and they made my life easier dealing with this. They even called the tire company to see if they would discount the tire for me bc it was a brand new car and had been on the road for only 2 weeks. I never expected them to even try to offer that. I was very happy and ended up purchasing their warranty as well so if anything happens in the future it will be taken care of.Highly recommend. Just go there!!

Great customer service with friendly staff! They are very knowledgeable and honest. They don’t offer you services that your car doesn’t need. I don’t agree with the reviews regarding the high prices. These prices are all the same across the stores. It changes varies by the brand. They have options for every budget. They explain what tires would be best for your car. Appointment is recommended but they also welcome walk-ins if they have available spots!

Terrible service, I got new front tires installed and balance on my work van. Took it on the highway and it was shaking all over the road. Returned for re balance, drove it with the same outcome, they also broke a wheel stud that they did not tell me about. Third time back they replaced the broken stud and said they can’t balance the tires with the balancer they have.

Pleasant customer service, reasonably priced, honest assessments and a very pleased customer.My first visit was to replace a flat tire (there was no hope of repair). Tom carefully listened to my driving habits and concerns and recommend a modestly priced tire. Already a contrast to other shops I had called. Since we were off to a good start, I asked if they would also look at my brakes. A few days earlier, the dealership told me that I needed new brakes and rotors and that the rotors could not be resurfaced. To my great surprise, Tom told me that they could in fact be resurfaced! I made an appointment, was pleased to see that an appointment actually meant something to them and saved almost $300. That was a couple weeks ago and I am happy to say that I havent had any issues with my brakes at all!In the past I have have been burned by local mechanics so I am cautious to say the least and now only have my car serviced at the dealership. However, I can say that not only would I return, but I would also recommend them highly. Thank you Tom and the rest of ETD!

This place has terrible customer service. Unfortunately, this week I had to deal with a interesting issue with my car. When I went to turn my car on, the engine didnt start but the lights and radio turned on. Unable to turn the car off I had to call a tow truck and get it towed to this location. I figured since Ive been here before, they would take care of me. Nope! I was completely wrong. I dropped off the car at around 11am and they stated it would be awhile as they were busy. Thats fine, no biggie I was going to go into work. Right before I left I reminded them that the battery was on in the car and I didnt know how to turn it off. My fiancé called at 3pm to get and update since we didnt hear anything from them and they got annoyed and stated they didnt get to the car yet. My fiancé reminded them that the battery on the car was on when we dropped it off and if they could disconnect it so that it wouldnt die. At 5pm I called to get and update since they never called us about what was wrong with my vehicle. The guy got annoyed with me and told me it was my ignition starter. I would need to get it towed to the dealer or get a locksmith. Of course they decided to tell me this at the end of a work day and not knowing the area well I had to struggle to find help. They didnt help me find anyone not referred me. It took me two extra days to find a locksmith to actually help me with my vehicle. Furthermore, my car battery died as they never disconnected the battery. This was my fourth or so time here and I will never be going back as each and every time its been a terrible experience. But this time was the last straw as they legit let my battery die in my car.

I went in for 4 tires and an oil change on short notice and they scheduled me for the next day. They were very helpful and the prices seem pretty reasonable. They exceeded my expectations. They even told me about coupons online so I was able to save a couple dollars. Definitely a good choice in my opinion.

We have 5 cars in my family. Anytime I have issues with my car my dad tells me to go to ETD Tires. They are very honest people. Even though I am a woman and I do not know about cars, they make me feel comfortable and they listen to my concerns. I always ask for Raymond or Dave, they’re very nice.

Tommy Kennedy (on his day off) was genuinely nice, friendly and empathic to my situation. I havent had my new car for two weeks yet and have a nail in my tire, so I wasnt too happy, but his customer service and friendly attitude changed my mood instantly! He explained exactly what they will need to do to patch the tire and as to why thats the best option! In the past I have recommended ETD to friends and family and will definitely continue to recommend them moving forward! The entire staff is friendly and helpful, but Tom is the best!!!!

Great service and they do good work. They lost a star because they do not do any scheduling so you can wait many hours. It would be better if you can schedule an appointment to cut down on having to wait so long.

I went to Discount Tire Center to get 2 new tires for my car. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and helped by David G. After checking my cars tires to find a correct fit, he gave me multiple options to choose from and to my surprise, they were ALL AFFORDABLE for what the tires offered. I have gone to other places where they will give you a mediocre new tire with 40,000 miles for over $200 but here, even the best option was well below $200. Discount Tire Center offers a great tire protection plan and even a free alignment check. David was able to answer all of my questions and even give me suggestions. The service took around an hour, but there is a nice diner right next to the center. Overall, super satisfied with my new tires and service. The mechanics working there were also very helpful and overall, kind. Discount Tire Center has definitely gained a customer in me, and I plan to recommend them to others I know.

I have been coming here for the past 15 years. Solid shop with decent selection of brands/tires. Service cost are reasonable for the area and they offer price matching.They have handled every one of my cars well and i have not had a single bad transaction here. This location is historically very popular and busy. With that said, i can still get out in under 2 hours on the worst of days.

Tom immediately wrote up my order and after a short time give me an overview of findings in my vehicle and estimate. Ive been going to ETD Tire in Lyndhurst for 10 plus years and Ive NEVER had one bad experience. Tom Kennedy and Ray Sandoval have always been honest and very helpful with my three vehicles. Brakes,tires and all around maintenance is done to all my cars there. Some of the nicest people I have ever met at any business. On time and completely done 100% right since day one. I have recommended this establishment to all my coworkers and I have quite a few that live in the area. The price and work are always top notch !!! One more thing. Needed new tires for my car. Brought two new rims. They had the tires I wanted and their prices were much much better then Mavis the rip off discount tire.Everyone was friendly and when I almost left my credit card the guy came and chased me down.I was in and out pretty fast and I think.these are my new guys for tires.Defiantly recommend them.

I have been going to ETD for a few years now and have always had a great customer service experience with Tom. This past week I got a flat and brought my car in. Tom explained that since the other tires on my car (which were purchased from Tom), were already a few years old with miles on them that I did not need to buy an expensive tire but to get one that was compatible, and it was much cheaper. He drove me to work since he had to keep my car until lunchtime..He mentioned that he heard a squeaking noise coming from the front brakes and said he would check them out for me at No Charge...Once I picked up the car he said everything looked fine and I did not need new brakes, just needed them cleaned..I completely trust them and would recommend them to anyone needing a place for car service... We had to have a tire replaced on our Jeep today and since I couldnt go someone else took my car in. Tom was incredibly helpful both on the phone and when she got there in person.While they absolutely could have convinced us to replace two tires (one was road damaged) to keep the wear even they looked it all over and let us know we did not need to do that as the other tire was itself in great shape and relatively new.These guys have a great reputation in our family for honestly, and experiences like this just cement it more.

Great place and friendly staff that explain the problem and try to assist in every way they can. Better to show up early morning if you dont have an appointment since they are almost always booked. Also free coffee while you wait which is great if you choose to be there at 7am like myself. Highly recommended.

Awesome service. They provide fair and reasonable prices and are extremely professional. I have used this business several times and have always even completely satisfied. Tom and CJ work together well and provide their customers with prompt and courteous service. I used to rely on my husband to service my car, but after he passed away, I needed to find a place I could feel comfortable and rely on. I will not go anywhere else to have my car serviced. I highly recommend them.

Great experience Tom took care of me and really made me understand what exactly i needed and why. The tires I bought there with the warranty is just the best. I will definitely go there from now on. They have earned a lifelong customer.

My experience at ETD was better than expected ! Tommy Kennedy was the most nicest and friendliest sales person that I ever dealt with. His knowledge and expertise made everything run smoothly. I will definitely recommend them ! When you get there ask for Tom his is awesome!

Tom, Ray and the crew work well together. Unnecessary fixes are never offered. They DO offer the tire warranties which remind you to rotate the tires, fix problems if necessary and offer replacement tires at a discount if under the time or mileage window.. All in all, a great combo of products, service and price. I enjoy the comfort of also knowing that my wife and children are driving on ETD tires.

I just came back to my old and favorite ETD shop after been absent for about 3 year! It feels so good to be welcome with open arms. Ive been here twice and both times they have missed glaring issues. This morning I had a flat tire and brought it in to be fixed. I waited an hour and a half for them to tell me nothing was wrong. When I left my office this afternoon, the same tire was flat again. Clearly, there is something wrong with the tire they did not find.A few months ago, I hit a large pothole on one side of my vehicle. The rear tire was flat, but I asked them to check both passenger side tires and wheels just in case because I knew the severity of the pothole. They told me only the rear tire needed to be replaced. The next day, my front passenger side tire went flat on the highway. I bought it back to them and they said the wheel was clearly bent. Why hadnt they seen that the day before when I specifically asked them to check it?

Tommy and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I usually go here for tires but since I always trust their honest opinion, fair pricing, and superior work I decided to also get my brakes done here. We kind of procrastinated and waited to bring our SUV in right before a long road trip. They understood the circumstances and treated us like friends. They were able to squeeze us in on on of their busiest days. I felt like these guys would genuinely give the shirt off their backs if you really were in need. Ive never seen such care and professionalism towards a customer like Ive seen here. Thank you!

I am new to the NJ area and was in need of a tire repair as well as a possible tire rotation. Tom Kennedy and his team took excellent care of me, explaining a tire rotation was not needed at this time and even repairing my tire free of charge. When Im in need new tires in the future, I will definitely be giving my business to this shop. A very comforting feeling to know that Ive got great tire consultants nearby.
