I went to Pride Kia to get some repairs done. They did their diagnostic and called me back and they said that i had 21 things wrong with my car and the major issue being that the frame of my car had rust holes. They said it would cost $5000 or more to fix just the rust holes alone and that my kia sportage was not worth fixing and it would not pass inspection unless I fixed all 21 things. They then proceeded to try and sell me a car. I told my friend what they said and she suggested that I take the car to Auto body Rebuilders just to make sure that the dealerships assessment was correct.I dropped off my car late Tuesday morning. I spoke to Tony, the owner of the shop, I explained what the dealership said and gave him their diagnostic paperwork. I told that I wanted to know if the frame was rusted and if I need ball joints. Additionally, I explained that I needed the vehicle to last me at least until the autumn. I also asked him to let me know if the rust holes were so bad that I could not pass inspection.At approximately 1 pm that same day, I received a text with two pictures from Tony. The pictures were of the alleged many rust holes that the dealership said would cost $5000 to fix. Tony said this was the only rust hole he found and that the rust hole was about an inch long ( he two two pictures at different angles) and I did not need to worry about it and he also said the ball joints looked fine when they inspected the car. I called Tony and he gave me a detailed explanation of why the one rust spot was fine. I told him that the car was making noises when I turn the wheel and he said he would take it for a drive. He called me back and said that it was the front right axle but he does not fix things of that nature because he did not have the equipment. I asked him if I could pick up the car the following day and how much did I owed him and he said nothing, it did not take that long. What?? What?? I could not believe my ears.Look, if you need body work done and you want someone honest who is not out to take you to the cleaners then go to Auto Body Rebuilders and see Tony, or take your chances with someone else who might not be so honest and decent.

Tony is very easy to work with and prices reasonably. The turn around time is excellent. I highly recommend him. FYI, he does not accept credit cards.
