I brought a car in that I inherited from a deceased family member. The car had been parked for over a year so it was totally dead and I had to get it towed in. I explained why I was in Massachusetts and that I was only in town for Saturday and I planned on driving the car to Pennsylvania Sunday morning. The person I left my keys with in the morning assured me that they would inspect the car thoroughly and get it up and running after explaining all of that. Even the advertisement on the wall said they would check a list of things if you ask. Im not very knowledgeable about cars and I had to take care of my deceased family member affairs on Saturday while Midas had the car so I didnt have time to fully inspect the car because they said they would do it. They got the car up on running 30 minutes before they closed. They told me the car was perfectly fine and it didnt need anything but the battery. The car got me home safely on Sunday but I noticed things from the time I left the shop till Sunday afternoon when I unloaded the car. I noticed the following:Needed Service.Needed Engine Oil.Needed Brake Fluid.Shop didnt screw in the battery after changing it.Missing spare tire (I wasnt told about this)Missing jack (I wasnt told about this)Looks like its missing fuses.Even though the car got me home its very scary to know that I couldve ran out of engine oil, lose control of the brakes or got a flat that I could not replace 200+ miles away from home on a Sunday.

Needed a new tire. Because last one I got there was a tragedy. Anyways the gentleman said he had 1 left. I never in my life would have paid $129.64 for a tire but there was a flood in Lynn that day, and there was no way I was getting to my other mechanic. Very rude front desk attendant. Because I explained what had occurred on the last tire I purchased there. I am seeking a lawyers advice for what occurred before. I got an oil change and my tires rotated. However a few days later I was traveling in the fast lane in Saugus on rt one South. My tire popped and I almost killed my girl friend because the tire shredded itself for no apparent reason. A technician from AAA came to the scene to bring my car to a body shop and to put on the spare. He stated that whoever put this tire on did it improperly and it wasnt secured and mounted on correctly. Therefore I took photos of my tire and you can see. Midas on the Lynnway in Lynn was the tire place that was responsible for this accident. When I told the manager the story he had nothing to say. No remorse or apology. This is an act of bad business, misleading certifications, false safety checks, and overall a letter to the better business bureau, the mayor of lynn, the president of Midas, and a lawyer to get back what was taken from me.

Sold me high end tires said they didnt have anything else at the warehouse. Hard to believe its a common tire size. I really needed it done and I am happy with the performance of the tires just needed paying a lot more than expected.

Staff was not very friendly or personable. I dropped my car off for an alignment then when I picked it up, the paperwork says they recommended a 4 wheel alignment. So, why not take some initiative and call me to make me aware?? Silly on their behalf....would have brought more money in.

Flat tire 5:45p on a Friday. I called the shop and they told me to come in and went above and beyond to fix my tire (which turned out to me needing a new tire). Very professional, honest & stayed late to help me. Highly recommend going here, for emergencies or not.

Overpriced, and charged me for an estimate that I already had told what the problem wasMessaged saying I got a quote from Meineke at 500$ to replace 2 parking cables, i wanted to get an estimate at Midas for how much is to replace the 2 parking cables because the car was not holding. guy at Midas said car has to be looked at because sometimes it can be the boot or other things comes back 2 hours later saying I needed to replace to parking cables ( which I already had told him that needed to be replaced) and also the parking break lever. Estimates at $889.49. I told him i was not getting it serviced there and he charged me $68.44 for diagnose parking brake. paid and left. Brought it to another mechanic two days later and he showed me the parking lever is working fine, replaced only the 2 cables that needed in first place for 100$. Got the parts from mini Peabody for 150$ together. total $250. I just hate how you guys tried to scam me to try to fix a lever that was not even broken in the first place and had the audacity to charge a diagnosis when I provided you with the diagnosis.

Ivan and Conner are a great team and they are honest and care for their customers. They also have a great crew of techs working for them too. They have built that store to where it is by doing the right thing for their customers and providing great service. I know that when they service my truck and my wifes car it will be right the first time. I trust them and will continue to return to this location as long as they are there.

Brought my car in for an oil change. They had it on the lift within 5 minutes if the appointed time. Had it back in about 20 minutes and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely go back again.

Decided to take my car here for a noise on the rear wheel. They offer to inspect it without a charge but after they narrowed it down the labor was only about $70.00. which is good compare to other that go around $200.00. The people were courteous and explained everything. Took a couple of hours but I was satisfied with the services.

I needed my A/C to be recharged, so I call them and they said its $49.99. I said OK.I went there, the price is $149.99. The $49.99 is just a diagnosis.I went for it, after the lady who works there said she could possibly bring it down to $119.After about 4 hours, they called and said its ready and I have ice cold A/C. I went there to pick it up, the price is $177.77. I asked why, she said she couldnt bring it down and there was some taxes etc. I was late for my work so I didnt bother wasting my time, hoping I got what I needed. This was last Thursday, 6/6/13. On Monday, 6/10/13 my ice cold A/C became a hairdryer. It was completely dead, as it was before I took it to Midas. I went there today again, they checked it out and said I need a new A/C compressor, which costs $940 (part only) and it would $1100 installed. My car is from 1996 so I didnt bother investing that much money into it.I asked why they charged me $177 just few days ago, instead they couldve told me I need a compressor and it wouldnt be worth recharging - they said they couldnt tell it right away, they need several check ups. So, here I am, $177 short in my pocket with no A/C. Pretty much thrown out through my window. This was my first and last visit to this place. RIPP OFF and BS!!! Nothing else!

I’m normally very patient and don’t give bad reviews, but this is like the 5th time I’ve had issues with them,The first time was I brought it down for an oil change and a tire rotation they did the oil change but didn’t do the tire rotation as I watch them the whole time, He said it didn’t need it when I asked,The second time I brought it down for the next oil change and asked for the tire rotation once again they didn’t rotate the tires I mentioned to the guy that they didn’t do it last time either and he tells me oh we rotated them this time I sat there and watched the whole time nobody rotated them,The next time I brought it out for a oil change and rotation,, Left noticed when I drove on the highway the car is shaking very bad Which it was not doing before I brought it in,they told me to bring it back in,I brought it back in they told me the tires need to be balanced that’s why it was shaking,Paid the $40 to get it balanced and shockingly a day later When I went on the highway the car is still shaking, And my air-conditioner That was working fine now isn’t working,

Took my friends car for a car inspection and he failed the car because of the light on the license plate was out. Cashier then he said he could fix it really quick for 80 dollars. $3 dollars for the light bulb and the rest for labor. Looked at the light a second time and it wasnt even burnt out. The guy and the establishment are liars and scam artists. Showed him the light and he accused me of tapping it to work, he then gave me a passed inspection and removed the rejected sticker.

Had a state inspection. Was failed for window tint issue. Went to other place. No issue on tint.

What a joke!I went in for an oil change and tire rotation on a Friday morning at 8:15AM, forty-five minutes after opening. The three mechanics and the manager are eating breakfast and apparently one customer waiting. OK, we all have to eat. But, then again, NOT exactly killing it either. He asks me how he can help. I ask if I can get a oil change and tire rotation. He asks if I have an appointment - I respond no. He points out correctly that the Groupon states you have to call for an appointment. He asks if I can leave the car for several hours - I say no (several hours for an oill change?!?).If you are a manager and your staff is not exactly over burdened wouldnt you accept work? Even if unplanned? Is the goal of the Groupon promotion to turn business away? I have been a customer of them for some time - but no more!Whoever owns this shop must be looking for LESS revenue. I guess the shortsighted manager must be hoping to be out of a job soon.

I went a few months ago for an oil change and general check-up and they ended up destroying my radiator by making a hole with a screw that did not go in that place.
