I was at stop and shop today and AnnMarie at customer service was very friendly and helpful.Also while i was there an elderly woman had taken ill and the manager waa so kind tohrr.

Where do I start? Coupons never work and I always have to go to customer service to get it fixed. Today the customer service person was on break according to the three employees gathered at the end of a register gossiping instead of working. They pull the sale tags off the shelves the day before the sales end while the store is still open for business. Shelves are never restocked when they clearly have more product out back. They close the doors on one side of the store a couple hours before the actual store closes. They close self service registers way before the actual store closes. Why would you go out of your way to inconvenience your customers like that? Take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Every experience Ive had with the customer service desk at the front of the store, which as of today is a total of 3, has been less than average. I asked to return unused/unopened hair care items the day after purchase, WITH a receipt and tags attached, but the lady thought I stole them and didnt want to give me a refund. Her tone was detached and almost impolite. Today I brought back two items that I got yesterday with mold on them and she was not polite to me at all. She didnt even apologise on behalf of the store or anything, hardly made eye contact, and told someone else to give me a gift card right in front of me, proceeding to walk away annoyed. As if Im not supposed to bring back moldy food. Idk I just get an all around cold and annoyed vibe when I approach the counter and speak to them. The customer service is awful!

Good place to shop, the produce is close to being the best in town.i just dont care for the self service because I dont work for stop&shop or get a discount for doing the cash register& packing my own grocery, & I dont care for being approach by panning people wanting money every time I go to stop& shop .i know there getting government check & living for free making more money than I am working every day.

I used to shop at this Stop n Shop until I moved. You can usually find everything you need and they have great sales...

Not very clean not sure what anyone is talking about. Pulled i 10:45pm was told we close in 5 minutes i only needed a few things for my child i replied i thought you closed at 11 she says no in 5 minutes. 2 min later over the PA system attention shoppers registers close in one minute as I’m on my way within that one minute the last cashier was wiping down her station and they let me check out but she had a total attitude eye roll and tahhhh huhhhh sound effects to make not sure why the rudeness when you close at 11 it should be full service till 11 i was in my car and loaded at 11:00pm on the dot I’ll shop elsewhere

I live in Saugus right down the street from Saugus stop & shop I had to go to Lynn store because the Saugus store never has what I need its ridiculous the shelves are always empty enough is enough I shouldnt have to travel 4 miles on the other direction just to buy something at a stop & shop

Bathrooms are always disgusting. Floor manager, older long hair is very rude and not helpful. Cashiers need more training. Customer at checkout had an issue with gift cards. Interaction between them was horrible.

Usually stocked, in and out. Weekend, like every other super market, gets packed.

I just went here for food shopping. I bought 8trays pork bones on sale. But when i paid at check out they took wrong amount over $16.77 . When i got back in the store to ask customer service to refund that money . But then they still do wrong $3.98 . Then i go back to talk to them again .the lady got so mad .she said i did correct nothing wrong. I said you still do wrong $3.98 .i told her to count again then she knew she was wrong . But she did not say sorry but she hit the hand on the table and through away the receipt and told the other guy refund 4$ more and walk away without say anything. We dont do anything wrong.they do wrong then thay got mad at me.that is not right. We are loyal customer at stop and shop . We spend alot money there. But the way she treated customer like bad guy like robber. She should not work at customer service like that.

I would of gave 5 stars but unless something is on sale the prices are high .Great sales tho

They closed 5 minutes before their posted closing time. People shouldn’t be turned away from buying food before the posted closing hours. You don’t know people’s circumstances.

No sales on meats shaws had better prices this week with some digital coupons too

Tough to complete on prices these days but today I had to stop in here and was pleasantly surprised. Clean bathroom (when I was in there) and was able to get my small basket of items and get in and out fast. Only thing keeping from 4 was that it seemed a bit understaffed and again this could have been because I was within 2 hours of closing.

Just came here to use the restroom. Nice place to relieve yourself but I would give 1 star for cleanliness.

Prefer Market basket over Stop n Shop due to a better selection, better customer service and better prices. Only shopped here that day as I was shopping nearby

I will give 5 stars when they bring back the no sugar bread, the lite sausages and the low carb versions of food they stopped buying. It is like they are doubling up on high carb and it sets there week to week. Low carb sells out quick and they dont reorder it. Buyer must be staying up too late at night. But everything else is good. And dont forget they have what Market basket does not have.

Stop n Shop has some of the best cuts of meat for a grocery store. The vegetables AR clean and fresh and the fruits are also. The customer service is very good there when I ask for help, the person I asked help for can actually understand English, other stores might be a little cheaper but I go with the quality. When I asked a worker a question its hard when they dont understand English, I believe Stop & Shop should hire some people that speak a few languages English being one and so on. the store is clean, lot of parking and handicap parking and handicap doors right now with the Pandemic, everyone has to wear a mask or they dont let you in

Ive never been to a super market that had so many rude and disrespectful employees. I suggest market basket right down the road. Better prices, and the employees are a lot nice and more helpful. Its actually mind blowing how rude the employees are here, as theyve driven away a lot of customers because of it. I think if corporate saw how the employees talked to the customers here sometimes theyd be furious.

Kudos to the Bakery Department, particularly Mercedes, the associate who took down my cake order and Brenda, the cake decorator. I had a specific idea in mind, I explained in detail to Mercedes what my vision was for this cake. I even had a photo on my phone and showed Mercedes what I was looking for. Mercedes came up with the idea of taking a picture of the photo with her own phone and then showing it to Brenda the following morning. She instructed me to call in the morning and speak with Brenda and to see if this would at all be possible. I did just that. Both ladies were incredibly pleasant and Brenda without hesitation said of course we can do that, which made my whole day. In addition I had ordered cupcakes, with a specific theme. Brenda went as far as adding touches from her own personal supply at home that she new the store did not have in stock. The finished product was nothing less than gorgeous. I was asked all night were the cake came from and who did it. To say that I was incredibly pleased with the end result is understatement. These woman care about what they do, its not just a job and its evident. In my book surpassing customer service. So today I want to shine a light on Mercedes and Brenda, you girls rock!!!

Worst experience i ever had. The most rudest management people working the isles r a joke. I asked to find sum sides for tg dinner and the pionted me to the pre made foods. Dinner is about 10 days away so i just have to laugh. Doors blocked no help will never shop at that Lynn S&S ever. I would take the time to go to market basket... Stop and shop is a joke good luck in ur future. And sum 1 should be checking a little more about there employees and especially the night time crew... Goodby to bad so sad

I love stop n shop meat, tho everything there is more expensive than market basket, but Im not paying good money to be yelled at! Spent $220, when I could have spent 160 at MB. Sorry but I think Im going to have to stop going to Stop.

I dont usually shop at this location, but I was in the area and stopped by for a few things on my way home. One of the managers, Rich was there with a smile and was very helpful. I may have to shop at this one more often, because they are open later than I thought as well.

I love this grocery store and theyve recently redecorated and made it look really nice! They have an awesome healthy foods section to the left of the beautiful produce section, always reliably organized, which I love because I dont have to search the entire store for gluten free and other specialty items, etc. like you do in some stores (the salted chocolate covered almonds are SO good, and they have the best organic corn grits that I have never found anywhere else). The aisles are wide and well organized. I have never felt stressed by the crowds like another local grocery chain, and they dont hog the aisles stocking in the middle of the day. The prices are good. Great fresh roast chickens and other tasty quick dinner options. Decent large public bathrooms at the far left corner of the store. The cashiers and deli clerks are nice, helpful too. They have a self checkouts and I never have to wait long. Plus they have a bank in store that, last time I checked, was open on Saturdays. Bottle and can redemption, too, I believe.

Always good finally stocked up on product they havent had along with sanatizer.

My go to shopping place. The produce is great and well kept. The deli has awesome staff! The butchers do great work also. Bakery has great product and a dunks is connected. Staff in general is polite. If you coupon n use store card prices are competitive. I do all our shopping here.

People are whipped into a frenzy thanks to the media over the virus. While the workers at stop and shop were friendly I cannot say the same for the customers. Let me leave you with a tidbit people, over 7 million people in mass only 108 cases, do the math. Stop panicking and being rude to other people. Try being nice. Worst shopping experience ever.

My experience with this particular store is very pleasant. There are several employees who always go above and beyond to help me when needed. I dont remember all of them by name but the following staff always go above and beyond to help me:Tony at the bakery love your fresh croissants, sometimes I even turn back to go and get me a few😋. At the front Scott, Vivian, Peter, Donna, Patricia, Hancel and Kevin always with a smile and a welcoming/ professional demeanor. All the staff at the produce department thank you! I personally want to thank them for their positivity and smiles specially early in the morning when I go in to shop. Often times good service goes unnoticed and underappreciated. A welcoming a friendly aspect makes all the difference in the world. This is true customer service. Keep up the great work guys! To those I dont remember by name please pardon me but know that I appreciate all you do!! Thank you all!!

Great Low Prices

Clean, well stocked, mostly super fresh produce, nice bakery and deli too. Much quieter now that MARKET Basket opened nearby but MBs prices are better so thats probably why. They added a large self checkout area which alleviated some of the infamous long lines at checkout.

Found a public restroom before 435 bus back to Lynn station. Public restroom is on the back side of the store.

Very good shopping experience.Little pricey.But everything is fresh and quality.

Nice grocery. Name sounds suspicious, but has nice things. Many gluten free choices.

I havent been to this store in a long time. Usually there are long lines and the prices arent as good as Market Basket. I stopped by when I was in the area for Beef Stew ingredients. Prices are still higher than MB, but they rearranged the self checkout to accommodate more people so check out was easy. Convenient but not my top choice for weekly shopping.

I like this stop n shop way better than the one on revere. They always have humans at cash registers open and plenty of people around to help
