One of the best game stores Ive ever visited! This was a traveling stop that ended up with my small family spending five hours playing games and enjoying the shops hospitality. Food was good and reasonably priced, great selection of games to buy and to borrow. Tables were real furniture (not just collapsible) and were the focal point of the store, encouraging players to drop in and play. If we lived in the area, this would definitely turn into our home store.

Their selection is great and the employees are welcoming and helpful. You can really tell this place runs on passion for board games and a sense of community. We had been in a few times prior to covid to play games, and we loved the drink menu options. Went in the other day for the first time in a while just to shop around, and I was impressed by how safe we still felt in terms of covid! I am definitely planning on going back to play games and support this local business again now that I have been reminded how much they care about their customers. :)

What a great game store and place to grab some Ice-cream! The selection of games and cards is outstanding! They also have fun game nights for people to drop in and play. Not only is the selection great but the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I had some magic the gathering commander questions and they really took care of me!

My fiancé comes here on Sundays for his magic fix and he absolutely loves it! I don’t play but when I visit they accommodate me and don’t mind me hanging around 😄

Pub is pretty inaccurate for a name. Its really just a small card shop with tables and a sandwich deli sized prep area plus an ice cream display. Do not go here actually expecting a pub. Do go here if you want a friendly atmosphere with an overflowing stock of board games and cheap food/drinks. The card game selection is small, with no singles. The selection of sleeves/binders/boxes is pretty small and some were a bit overpriced (Ex: MSRP $10.99, shop charging $11.99).Overall its a decent shop, but you shouldnt expect anything more than your usual neighborhood local game store. I wouldnt make an hour trip to visit, but Id stop by if I was in the area.

Awesome! Lots of good games, some are used and you can by them for a lower price. All their used games are in good condition and have all the peices. Amazing beer battered mozzarella sticks.

This shop was a lot of fun with a good variety of games! I felt like it was going to have more used game from what I had looked at but they had a really neat selection. The ice cream was wonderful though I wished they also had some healthy options on the menu. Id say this would be a good spot to hang out post Covid.

Always love being here. Just have more self control than me, I rarely get out of there for less than $100 cause they gave so much cool stuff!! Also the staff are nice and enjoy what they do so its not forced. 10/10 theyll have another grand outta me by years end.

They also have one of the larger collections of used board games available for purchase, they will buy yours for store credit or slightly less cash, and has a respectable library to check games out of.Large eclectic collection of new hobby games to purchase as well, with a constantly rotating selection of the latest games and old favorites. CCGs, RPGs, miniatures games, war games, etc. are also well represented. Caters to the family crowd too, so you can bring the kids, alcohol being served does not make it off limits to them. Lots of events, check their Facebook page for the latest including tournaments, demos, RPGs, and playtests. Great place.

I had so much fun here! Went for an educational dice making meet up and the drinks and service was phenomenal! The two hour-ish commute was well worth it! 💖 Galvantula loved the variety of games too!

We ordered pizza from Little Caesar’s and we ate it while playing Fluxx (which was in the store gaming library). We each tried different drinks that are locally made and had a great time. Lots of groups playing different board games tonight. The women’s bathroom was clean, smelled great, and they had pads & tampons available in a basket. So thoughtful! I can’t wait to go back.

I freaking loved it here. Saying there are a ton of board games being sold and/or in there game library doesnt do it justice. Theyre literally stack to the ceiling.The beer was awesome and varied for all tastes, staff was friendly and helpful. I didnt get a chance to try the food as we just came in after lunch, but the ice cream has yummy! I only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often. I love the idea of demoing a new game and having a beer with friends before committing to the game purchase. Love the concept, love that there is out door seating for warmer weather. Ten outta ten, would visit again!

One of my favorite spots, Around the Table is a truly excellent establishment, though the pub part in the title might be slightly confusing.This is definitely a game store first, pub second, but that said they do have an excellent selection of rotating taps with an assortment of beer, ale, cider and mead, yet they retain an excellent family friendly atmosphere. They serve a handful of tasty snacks (fresh baked cookies) and some super basic foods (chicken strips), and encourage you to bring in food from local restaurants. To top it off they have a full cooler of Full Tilt ice cream, which always has some excellent flavors to choose from.The aspect where Around the Table really shines though is the games. They have a very good number of tables to play your games and eat your food on, a solid schedule of events pretty much every evening of the week, and an incredible stock of games for your browsing pleasure. They carry an exceptional variety of new board games at all times, but what is really special is their selection of used games. Carefully checked to ensure they contain all the parts they should and re shrink-wrapped, their used games offering is always in excellent condition, and wonderfully priced. Any missing parts or issues are noted on a sticker, and tend to come with an appropriate discount on top of the already good used game prices.To summarize: good food, good drinks, good events, good games, exceptional used games. All of these things make Around the Table a truly excellent store and a pillar of the Seattle area game community.

This is definitely a Friendly Local Game Store and it has everything I could want in a board game store. Theres a large and diverse selection of games to buy and theres lots of games that can be played in the store. There are tasty snacks and drinks that can be bought. Bringing your own food and games to their tables is encouraged! I try to come here as often as I can for a fun evening. Highly recommended!

Its a bit cramped at times, but thats because this place is great! Theres a good selection of games and snacks. They have ice cream with is a big plus. But, the big draw for me was the bins of miniatures to sift through! Found a warforged monk while I was there! Only thing this place is lacking is more space and paints & brushes.

One of the best gaming venues in the area. Clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-lit. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu, while limited, features some tasty options, and the drink selection is tough to beat. My only real gripe? Lack of parking! This place can get crazy busy, especially on the weekends, and the small parking lot here means you may have to stash your vehicle elsewhere. Still, very much worth the trip. And did I do their selection of games? Whatever youre into, no matter how old or new, theyll probably have it. They deal in both new and used games, so you can find some great bargains here!

This place is great! Super cool and knowledgeable staff, nice pic grub, huge selection of games and a good number of tables for playing. Alcoholic & non available on tap, with some excellent selections. Plus theyre totally cool with outside food. Heck, theyll even order in Little Caesars for you. If you like Greek food, be sure to check out the place next door. It may not look like much from outside, but the make some fantastic food!

Been going to this awesome-sauce game store for a while now. The staff is always super friendly and engaging. They have almost everything you need for gaming in stock... and if they dont they will happily order it for you.Also there are 2 other game stores closer to where I live down in Seattle yet I always go out of my way to shop here.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The layout was great and they had a nice variety of games. Definitely enjoy that you can get food and drinks here while playing. Will definitely be buying from here in the future when Im in the area.

I stopped in here just to look around. There is a great selection of table top games, even tables set out to encourage customers to sit and play with friends. They have beer, ice cream, and food to enjoy while playing. The employees are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you need some help, are looking for a game, dice, minis, or just a fun place to hang with friends. I will be coming back soon.

Great place to hangout and play games with friends. Friendly staff, excellent selection of all types of games as well as drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Food is pretty standard frozen fried foods. But their waffle fries with spicy mayo are top notch.

Great little game spot with lots of open-box games to try out for free while youre there, a nice toy corner for little ones, great selection of games, great beer, fantastic ice cream, and snacks. Would be 5/5 if it felt more welcoming to newcomers... not a huge deal for me but I could see more shy people having a hard time if they came in looking to join in a game night. Nevertheless it is still the best place to play games in the area.

If you have a game group or want to join one its a great place to start your search for an IRL meet up.Plenty of games to try on the library shelves and a wide range of games to buy if you see something that catches your eye.

Great store for an afternoon of gaming. The staff is friendly and helpful; they remember their regulars, have a wealth of knowledge about the various games, and sometimes even sub in if people are short a player. The beer selection includes a solid seasonal rotation and the food is decent (they will order a pizza for you if you so desire). All in all, a great option.

This is the best example of what an independent game store should be. They have helpful and knowledgeable staff and clearly love gaming and the gaming community. Without prompting they will offer to reserve new games coming out, order games not in stock, and give feedback or advice about any game with which they have experience. The store has a pretty large open play area with a good catalog of open games to try. If this werent enough, the store has a cider and beer on draft as well as some nibbles you can order. They even bake cookies at the time of order. Ive been to many game stores and this one is the one I reserve my gaming dollars for.

Great place to play and socialize. They have beer and food for purchase. The best part is the board game selection to play there. There are all kinds of games for different numbers of players. You can even purchase games to take home.My husband and I went there for a fun evening. We played a game called Gizmos. While there I also found a rare game for a family member Sink the Bismark.The staff was very helpful and friendly. I definitely will visiting this place a few times a month for a fun night out with my husband and friends. I recommend checking this place out!

Went in a few days ago with no clear idea of what I was looking for. I love the concept and have always looked for a place like this, they even had some mead on offer! This place is great for buying and playing table top games and also hanging out with family and friends, enjoying a beer or ice cream, and even enjoying dinner while you play.They have a free game library with different card, dice and board games and a great selection of beer, cider, and usually a mead on tap. Also family friendly, serving ice cream cones and a small selection of food. They also encourage you to patronize the (many) nearby restaurants and then eat and hang out at the pub. I think they might have a deal with Little Ceasars (which is a few stores down) where Little Caesars brings over the pizza even. Great place!!!

Hands down my favorite game store. Ill shop her over any other. The location looks awesome, clean, great selection. The family friendly space is great for taking kids and testing out a loaner game while having root beer and cookies. The staff are the BEST. Ive been to a lot of game stores and Ive rarely met people who are as into games, and customer service as here. Wish I could give them more stars.

This is a great local board game shop. Whether youre an experienced gamer or new to the hobby (beyond Monopoly, etc.) Youll be treated with respect by the staff and find something to love. Also, they have a good selection of open play games, so you can try a game out before buying it. Plus fancy beers and ice cream! :)

There are a few pubs with games in town, but this is a fully stocked, well varied game store that serves some decent food with tons of playing space. They have a huge section of free in-store use games to try out, tons of die, figurines, mats, and whatever other accessories you might need. The food is pretty decent, and they serve several kinds of ciders and Mead! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check this out!

Fantastic local game tavern with extensive board game library and excellent service.Welcomes outside food if you just want a beer/coffee and a game, but also serves inexpensive bar fare (cheese sticks, etc.). My family love this place. I have a 6months, 4 and 5 years old. We play board games, eat Full Tilt ice cream and pizza with root beer on tap. The owners/staff is so helpful, and have helped us find many games my kids can play with us. They let you bring in food if you want, but we have typically had them order a pizza to be delivered for us. They have relationships with many of the other restaurants so if you want to ask for the menus they will provide them. If you want a fun family night, I could not recommend a better place to try.

This place was a blast. You can go in for free and choose a game from the library of free games, lots of choices. If you like the game they have copies to buy. My friends and I were there for like 2 hours just drinking and playing games and it cost about 20 bucks for the drinks. There is food to order as well.

They had the obscure game my kid was looking for. Not only that but the person helping us was able to identify it from the description: I dont know the name but it came out a few years ago and it has stuffed animals in it? 50 house points to THAT guy.

This is a great place to meet for games. Get there early because all the seats were filled with boardgamers. Huge selection of games for sale and the cider was good. Parking lot is too small for the traffic all the other businesses limit parking in front of their stores to 30 minutes. Im guessing employees park in the unmarked stalls across from the stores so expect to park down the street from its location.

This is a great gaming shop. They carry a wide selection of games and will happily order products for you. There are lots of tables to play games, but they have many nightly events so occasionally all the tables will be full. Theres plenty of food and drink to round out your gaming experience. The staff is knowledgeable and fun to talk to.

This is a great place! You can play board games for free while drinking a few beers. Its also next door to Little Caesars, which they allow you to bring in. The workers are really nice and they help you pick the right game for you.Unfortunately, my wife and I learned that we shouldnt play board games with each other anymore. Were too competitive and this turned out to be a so-so date night. But I definitely plan on going back with the guys.

Friendly staff in a well-lit store. Lots of people sitting and playing, even late at night. Beer wasnt great, but is reasonably priced. There are no Magic events for Modern players at this store. They have a narrow selection of card sleeves. If you were hoping for beer, card sleeves or Modern players, you may be a bit disappointed. Otherwise, it is cleaner and smells better than most other small, local game stores like it.

This place is a blast. Good snacks, drinks, and icecream, and an endless selection of board and card games to choose from. Personally I come here for silent (deaf) game night each month.

Around the Table is a great place to have a drink while playing games. The owners, Nick and Tim, are very knowledgeable on the different games they sell and are willing to teach any game they have on their open play shelves. The other employees and friendly and if you become a regular will banter with you.The selection of Beer and Ciders change semi regularly and are always good local microbrews. They also have ice cream and snack foods that they can cook to make a full day of playing games enjoyable.

Rotating selection of beer and cider and sometimes a mead, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is positive. We play dnd here every week and its a place I enjoy hanging out and doing nerdy stuff in general. Highly recommend.

Ive been here on two occasions about a year apart and its always been fantastic. The patrons and the employees are super friendly and the shop itself has a very comfortable/at-home vibe. If I ever move to the area, this will certainly be the game shop I frequent the most.

Wanted to come here for my birthday. Came in a week ahead and asked about having a small group there and you said it was no problem and that no reservations were needed. Got there with my group and you told us you were completely booked for the night. Never going to try coming again.

The friendliest staff that you will ever meet. They have good cheap food and drinks, and they support local restaurants so you can order pizza or bring in Subway sandwiches or anything else nearby and eat while playing a game. They have tons of open games for you to play for free, and the atmosphere is awesome.

This place is great: excellent selection of games for a store their size, knowledgeable and friendly staff (who respond quickly to email questions!).Rotating taps (including interesting non-alcoholic microbrews) rotating ice cream(!).The food is simple (corndogs, fries, etc) but good, and they dont mind if you order in, and several local places will deliver.Each night is themed, and the patronage on those nights are generally perfectly happy to have strangers join the games if youre looking for a group
