The kids & I always had fun shopping at Toys R Us. It was sad to see this place & company close. Wanted to write this review to thank Toy R Us & Babies R Us for all of the memories. We started by getting lots of baby gear & supplies at both stores. When the kids were old enough, they enjoyed their visits to Toys R Us. They have fond memories of finding all their favorite toy brands here, as well as participating in store events such as meeting Geoffrey the giraffe, Lego building events, & birthday events. When I collected Star Wars, I came for some of the midnight releases & Force Fridays. We came to visit the store here & in Bellevue during the last week of operation to get one more nostalgic visit and to be a Toys R Us kid one last time...

Jorge was So So helpful! Great attitude! And great customer service! He told me he was new and I would have never known! I loved my experience there today. Employees like Jorge is exactly why I’m going back!!

I am so sad that we are losing these stores! This store still has big sellers in stock and is clean and well kept. Employees are in high spirits and still very ready to assist. Im pleasantly surprised by how well the liquidation is being carried out at the store level.

Good selection and decent prices. Toys R Us needs a major makeover to stay in business. It looks the same today as it did in 1990 when I was a kid. They need to make it more modern, add fun characters to outside as my 8 year old said.

Sad this place will not be around for my little ones. This place was a childs dream and made holiday/ birthday shopping exciting. Huge selection of toys and baby stuff to look at and touch (which you cant get online shopping). Yeah they were expensive or met the price of other high retail chains, but everything was right there.Amazing store, sad to see it closing.

We purchased a 16 inch girls barbie bike here along with the warranty and other things about a year ago. Recently my daughters bike was ran over and had a bent front tire frame. We had a warranty but of course when it came time I could not find the information pertaining to the warranty so I called the store to see if they could look it up for me. The employee I spoke with was super nice and told me that the date range was too far back for her access so she transferred me to the store manager. Darby, the store manager spoke to me and did everything he could, along with the gal next to him to try and find our order. We had no luck finding the information we were looking for but Darby went above and beyond to ensure our problem was resolved! I without a doubt will be back for new purchases because if him! Thank you Darby, you not only put a smile back on my daughters face but your caring and patient attitude put a smile on mine as well and I really appreciate the time you spent not only on the phone with me, and in person but more so, focused on customer service and being so helpful and understanding! I wish there were more people out there like you!! Again, Darby, you are amazing and I hope your company knows and appreciates you like your customers do! :)

Nice customer service and the price match is a super deal! Their customer service is so much better than the babies r us in Lynnwood. If you find a same product, I highly recommend you to go this store instead.

Im saddened that they are closing. Toys R us has always been a magic staple in my life. My youngest will never be able to experience the toy store factor like I have.I have also always had positive experiences with toys r us. The staff at Lynnwood have always been friendly and helpful. Much love and aloha to you guys.

Its not the most organized and pricing isnt as much as a deal as youd hope given its a toy superstore. Some departments are really limited (especially baby/kiddo gear) so its make more sense to on it those departments completely and focus more on special product deals on big ticket items. Staff is also more limited than youd think for a store of this size and generally has more of a walk away attitude than a how can I help you tune.

Look I get this place is struggling, but I love it. Sure better prices can be found online, but I love going here and actually handing gifts. They have everything. The store is packed but nicely organized

It was the saddest day in the history of all toys😢

Feels like a slowly dying relic of a bygone age but you wish it didnt have to end like this. :(Prices are too high, nothing particularly new or innovative to make you excited to take your kid there. Wish there was a way to save this unique experience from childhood without taking out a loan to buy some Legos.

Pretty huge place with lot off toys. Well that sounds like any toys r us. The staff here are very helpful and especially good to kiss. I like they way they organise the store

Sad to see an icon disappear. Still high prices and most good stuff is long gone. Heard tomorrow is the last delivery so they expect their doors will be permanently closed in the next 2 weeks if that long. Bye Godfrey and ToysRUs. I shall miss you. Maybe not your higher prices. I will miss exposure to everything that brings the kid out in each of us.

Good selection of toys. Kind of frustrating trying to find help without going to front. Pretty expensive and not many good sales when I was in.

What can I say...Im a toys r us kid. I love going to this place and so does my daughter. Sure its filled with items thatll be nothing more than garbage in a year but it takes up all back to a time when plastic reigned supreme. I really hope we dont lose toys r us as a result of their bankruptcy.

One of the few Toys R Us left in the area. Its a nice store; big and with a good selection. Its old though and could use a remodel, and some of the prices are a bit too high.

This is where you go to look at the toys your kids want and then order online at lower price and no tax. Nobody knows what they have in the store. I was looking for spinners last week the girl told me they didn’t have any. I found it myself since I had the app and it said they had some. If I owned stocks in these sorry stores I would be asking for some CEOs resignation.

My kids love coming here. Me, not as much. They have tons of toys but the music they play is super annoying and they are overpriced and never have any sales.

I love Toys R Us! Yes, they should have updated bathrooms, store flooring etc. Usually were a little higher in prices (although they price matched themselves online and other retailers.) But it was an experience you cant get at other retailers. You cannot play hands-on with that many toys anywhere. Wal-Mart has a very boring toy selection. You can always tell when someone shops there. Toys R Us, Target and Amazon had the best selections. The neat thing about this toy chain is how many toys they sold for small companies that otherwise had trouble getting their foot in the door. So many ridiculous people complaining about the prices. I get it. They didnt just have them set for you like other retailers did. They made you ask for a markdown. If you werent passive/aggressive maybe you would have actually enjoyed shopping here.I do agree with the comment up above. I am very surprised to see employees still focused on the job at hand. We shop the Lynnwood store and the employees have been nothing but kind to us. My family member worked for Hastings when it closed its doors, and that was chaotic. They are doing the best they can with this situation. Anyways, I will miss this toy store. I wish that it could have been saved and remodeled for the next generation of children. (R.I.P. Toys R Us)

Kids absolutely love this place. But I do need to leave my wallet at home next time. If you dont splurge on the kids, youll end up splurging yourself on some of their massive nerf selection

Items are consistently out of stock and seemingly never return, store consistently seems understaffed with only one checkstand open and nobody available to help. Multiple times employees have gone to look for an item but never return, forcing you to go through the process all over again. Experience provided, or lack thereof in store, seems reflective of the current financial troubles this company is facing. Hoping for positive changes as the kiddo loves TRU.

So sad to see the store go. Always friendly and always helpful. Nephew loved their Star Wars and Minecraft sections.

Its a nice place and you got to love toys I just wish they had bigger signs for my old eyes but thats just me probably:-)

Its a complete shame they are going out of business.We enjoyed shopping here, staff are great.Prices are very high on average.

Sorry to say, this place is on a financial crash and burn die to inept ability to compete.Spent inordinate number of hours with Grand Children looking, testing and playing in these stores.Sad to see them go....

Pretty good sized store. Courteous staff. Now has a Claires store inside the Toys R Us. Free parking. Close to Alderwood mall.

Rude & unhelpful. My daughter and I were waiting in line after selecting what we wanted to purchase. We waited in line for about 5 mins. When an employee allowed 2 people to cut in front of us not even acknowledging us. We only had 1 item! I decided that I didnt need to spend my money there and we left. Ill never go back again. Its one of the messiest stores Ive been to, I might add.

Average toys r us had the things that you would find at most any toys r us. Staff was helpful and they have a couple ride on machines in the front of store.

This store in particular looked pretty dirty. It probably needs to be remodeled some. It also felt like they couldnt fill the store properly and keep it stocked.However, they have a good selection of toys, which may be the most important thing.

Love having an actual toy store to go to. There are any other around. The store is kind of dated though.

Prices are $$$$Even with the liquidation sale going on, the legos were only 5% off and that markdown is still probably more expensive then what othet places like walmart or even the lego store are selling them for! Still a fun place to go as a child.

Gave 3 stars because as soon as we walked in the door we were hit with an awful smell. Smelled like one of the workers needed a shower bad. Im not trying to disrespect, just saying someone should tell that person cause it was putrid.

What a joke - just went there. They had big signs saying up to 40% off, but everything was only 5 to 10% off, making it about the same price as what you would normally pay at other stores. Total waste of time!
