Chugs is THE root beer store. But saying that is very limiting, because they have it all.They have birch beer, sarsaparilla, and ginger ale, of course, but I also had a Peanut Butter and Jelly drink that was amazing (if you wanted to drink a PB&J now you can).They also have ice cream, root beer on tap, and root beer floats!!! And really tasty hot dogs you can have with a float. We have its wonderful.

They have an amazing and extensive collection of root beers, ginger beers, and fruit sodas! I came here for the rootbeer floats and it did not disappoint. Their vanilla ice cream compliments their rootbeer tap so well! They also allow picking any rootbeer from the shelves for their float. The shopkeeper, Matthew, knows his rootbeers and can recommend ones that cater to your tastes. His vibes are immaculate. I cant recommend this place enough, if you have the time and are craving a good rootbeer float, please stop by here! They also have a custom made pb&j flavored ice cream!!! Overall a great local shop.

Theres a young lad whos been working here for 2 years and easily the coolest and most passionate worker Ive ever met. My boyfriend and I were in there for all of 3 minutes and in that time had a tasting, our minds blown by all his knowledge, and walked out with a 10 pack hand picked by him. So fun! Very helpful. Went in for the first time on Fathers Day, and there were quite a few people in the small shop, all having a good time. You can do a Rootbeer Tasting, order a RB Float, or like me, get a gift box of a dozen varieties of Root Beer, among other offerings. Definitely worth a stop, especially if you or someone you know loves Root Beer!

This has become my partner and Is monthly splurge trip. We travel a good 30 miles up north just to pick out our favorite root beers and to try some new ones. They have a wonderful selection and the owners are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable of their products. We always make sure we pick up a 6 pack, some root beer floats, and a hot dog for the road! Absolutely love the homey atmosphere and everything this little shop has to offer. Root Beer fan? Or a fan of vintage soda (Grape, Creme, Ginger, ) then you will be in heaven here. You know the spot in grocery stores where they have those weird single bottles of mainly root beer in single serving bottles? This store is that times 10 plus 5. You can get already made hotdogs as well. And you can also get a root beer float with any drink you choose! I drop a lot of money here usually I wish they had some better bulk deals. Other than that its worth checking out

So many different kinds of root beer! Very cool spot. You can pair any of the sodas on the shelf or fridge with ice cream to make a float. The owner was very friendly and helpful.The space could’ve been a bit more well kept but that’s a minor thing for a local spot like this.My kids got to try a couple different root beers with vanilla ice cream, so they know now how different root beer can taste.Loved this spot as our last stop before heading back home to California. Wish they had this close to home for us. We would visit often.

This has got to be one of mine and my kids favorite places to go. They have so many good root beers and novelty sodas, its very cool. They also have tastings where you can try them before you buy them, so cool.

This is a great store! They have a great selection of root beer and quite a few options for colas, cream sodas, and fruity drinks as well. They also have floats and saltwater taffy and tastings every month! I actually don’t like root beer but they have so much other stuff for people like me.****Note that the owner who works there doesn’t wear a mask, which is allowed now if vaxxed but I thought I’d mention it since some people may not be comfortable being around maskless people yet. ****

Today I went in for for a Monday adventure and WAS NOT dissappointed! I have been on before, however, today, the person behind the counter is the exact kind of human that should be manning a soda shop. He has an absurd knowledge of every single beverage and where they come from; its an experience on par with what i would expect of a brewery. He was attentive to every customer and their needs and wants, and an excellent conversationalist. 10/10 will keep it as a hometown stop.

This is the best place for soda connoisseur and the employees are like an amazing guide in a new town, weve been here 6 times or so and each time is a delight.

I used to like this place and came by with a friend to check it out for the first time in a year or two. We walked in the back door to hear someone loudly complaining on the phone about public health measures regarding COVID-19. We walked right out after.

I love this place, David has a great friendly personality, more than 500 different sodas in stock on average, and hes tried almost every one of them so hes an excellent source of recommendations if you wanna try something new!

Places like this really bring out the spirit of what we call mom and pop shops. Dedicated employees that know their craft and what they sell. They have both chilled and room temp to pick from.They do not print out receipts, either can email it to you or text the receipt.

We stopped into the Root Beer Shop and were not disappointed. We came for a large variety of sodas but we stayed for the delicious hot dogs. They have all kinds of Root beer, cream soda, ginger beer, sarsaparilla, Many unique sodas like dog drool, pickle soda, zombie sodas too. Root beer on tap aswell Im sad I didnt get to try. I attempted to leave a cash tip but the man working declined on the stipulation that I return next time were in town. Did I mention salt water taffy?

The store is interesting. The shelves do you have items that can be found at the local grocery store at a smaller price but it also has items you can only find here. Totally worth it visit. We used to have to go all the way to Stevens Pass to get diet cream soda in a bottle so thank you for staying open.

I wouldnt call it a gourmet grocery store it is a root beer store, they sell root beer floats and you can choose to use a root beer that is in the store or choose to use their fresh on tap root beer. The on tap root beer is really good and the floats they make are amazing I would highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place! I took my girlfriend here who was visiting from out of town a few weeks ago and she asked if we could go back the next time she comes up. Huge selection of the classics like cola and obviously root beers, but also some stranger flavor like chicken wing and root beer milk. Definitely the perfect place to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon, and a unique date idea. The owners are great company too!

The floats were SO GOOD!! When we walked in we could smell the fresh baked waffle cones and we were welcomed by who we think was the owner. I love this place. The owner/manager, David, is terrific. Always friendly, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the many, many varieties of root beer that he has in store. I asked for something strong, not too sweet and he handed me the perfect bottle. My son asked for something mainstream, definitely sweet and he delivered one that he loved, and hes a young connoisseur! He was impressed, too. Best hot dogs partnered with real root beer and the greatest root beer floats out here! Customer service here is always genuine and the workers are always so pleasant. They definitely have knowledge in all the products they sell. My husband loves it here and I have never seen my toddler take huge bites out of a hot dog until we had one from here! Whilst my family is still trying all root beers from here, I have not had one that I dislike! Great Job you guys!!
