I had one of the rudest experiences at Walgreens Macomb with a helper. He just snobbed me of after asking about a covid test for international traveling.
Stopped in on Sunday morning. The lady that waited on me was very personable. Sorry I didn’t get her name Made my day better
Its gone downhill in the last few years with all the competition across the street
I have no problem with the people at the counter for grocery items or other goods. But I have to agree with the many posters about the pharmacy service here. Walgreens used to be known at least on a national level for their 24-hour pharmacy. This local Walgreens doesnt even open its pharmacy until 8 a.m., after most people are at work. And the store closes at 10, but I think the pharmacy mightactually close sooner. I too have had issues with my prescriptions being filled, and feeling as if I was being lied to.
This has to be the worst Walgreens I have ever dealt with. I was in the army for 26 years and served all over the country. This Walgreens More times than not does not have The medicine to fill the prescription. If there was another options with my insurance, I would definitely use another provider. A lot of times I have gone without the prescription for 2 or 3 days. This has to be a local management problem more than a systemic problem throughout the Walgreens network. I would not recommend a store at all.
Very bad service in the pharmacy. Called in Then came to pick up 3 hours later. Was told to come back in a hour. I came back. Then told it wont be ready. I live in Bushnell. I am on portable oxygen. I had to go. back home. I really needed my Medicine Very upset!!!
Never had a problem. New Pharmacist who thinks hes a doctor. Says I get it filled at 28 days too often and should have enough and wont fill it. Ironically, the reason I wanted it at 28 days is so I have extra for when Im yanked off the medicine at no fault of my own due to the phony epidemic that has nothing to do with chronic pain patients. Last month, I went UP in dosage before I got a new script per my dr. So I was taking more than the original script. Got my new script today, and since I live 25 miles away, Ill get it filled. Nope. You have a months worth. No I dont. Again, I went up. I DO have a COUPLE days extra, but again a safety valve because of this very thing. THEN I was lied to and told Its a state law. Trust me, theres no law. I was trying to stay calm until I was told that lie. I KNOW the law. Its NOT the law. The manager says the pharmacist can refuse anything he wants to. I said, this is medicine for a debilitating condition. I was told to essentially pound sand. 48 hours is what I was told by another pharmacist in the same store. This is 48 hours, but since theres a power trip, Im going to run out and have withdrawal with increased pain and stress on my heart. They counted as though I was on the larger dose the whole time. Effectively tripling what they said I had on hand This is deliberate targeting because of the medication I need. I am not a drug addict...if I were, I sure as hell would run out wayyy early. Im subject to close monitoring via a pain contract with my provider. When that arrogant little troll gets his MD, Ill believe him.. Dont lie to me. Dispense. No ones coming after his license Heck, walgreens policy is 48 hours..to get a refill...or was. Now he can refuse whatever he wants.
Super slow pharmacy. One tech was doing all the work while the others were just standing around.
Had an awful experience there last night. I had to wait for about 15 minutes to be helped. When there were two workers back there and the first few minutes I stood there waiting neither of them were helping any customers. I was also the only customer there at first, then a car pulled up in the drive through and they helped them first. Not a word was said to me while I waited, and all I needed to do was to drop off a prescription to be filled. Not something that takes very much time at all. Highly dissatisfied with the service I received.
Horrible service here! Their incoming faxes NEVER work. I had wisdom teeth pulled and Knox County Health department sent a fax of my prescriptions 4 times in 2 hours. They claimed to be on the phone (on hold) with the health department yet I was able to call and talk to them without any hold times. This place needs cleaned out and new employees hired! Ill start going through Walmart or Hyvee.
I dread going here. They are always rude and dont do there job. I cant count how many times there has been mix ups with my meds here. Dont ask the Pharmacist to do anything close to there closing time if they even answer the phone when its that late.
The worse place to get your meds filled, hard to get meds filled. Never in stock or lie about placing an order that they never did. Very upset. Go the CVS.
I would give them zero stars if I could. This has to to be the worst Walgreens I have ever been too. This is two days in a row where we pulled up to the drive through and waited for over 10 mins. Hit the call button a bunch of times still no response until 10 mins later. I’d say if you need a pharmacy go acrossed the street to CVS, Walmart or even Hy-Vee.
Nice people at store.
I called this store to ask if they had hot and cold freezer bags and was told that not only did they have the hot and cold brand, but 2 others as well. I get on the brown bus and come to the store and low and behold whoever I talked to on the phone 15 minutes before lied through their damn teeth. How incompetent must you be to waste my time like this. Never coming back.
Horrible service and rude pharmacists. Will no longer go there. Transfer your prescriptions before being upset.
Good ppl. especially Susan.
A shame that the pharmacy isnt 24 hours
