Was passing through on our way to Florida. I wanted to get some local beer to try. This place has plenty of cold and warm beer. Looks like they have other w on tap too with room to expand. Wish I had time to hang out there longer.

While we were in Macon evacuating Hurricane Irma, we spent some time visiting all of the local beer places. They have some breweries in the area, but we really enjoyed our multiple visits to Growler Spot. The place has a great selection of beers on tap, sell single bottles both warm and cold, and the staff is incredible. It felt like home. We visited a couple of times and really enjoyed the other locals, and a few other evacuees, that we met while sitting at the bar.If you are in Macon and are looking for a good place to enjoy a pint or a flight (their flights are priced right) then I highly recommend Grower Spot. The next time I am in Macon, I know I will be stopping by. Cheers!

I go at least once a week. It is right down the road from where I live. Chuck (and Kyle) are both gracious and knowledgeable about each beer that steps into the storefront. They are generous with their pours and have wine tastings/trivia night on Thursdays and Saturdays, consecutively. Great people, and even better beer.

Visiting from out of town and picked up a few growlers for our buddies’ wedding. These guys have a great selection with 30-40 beers on tap. The selection was a smidge overwhelming but they gladly gave us samples of anything before we bought. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get a growler filled!

Really upset, this place came highly recommended from a friend. But when i went, they barely had any beer on the shelves and barely any dark beer on taps during the winter !! A little more pricy than other places, probably because they have no beer. No food. However, GREAT staff very knowledgeable!! Ill go back back just for the staff before i go anywhere else in Macon.

I was in from Ohio on the way to Florida and happened upon this little gem of a beer store The gentleman who helped me went way out of his way and was able to get me a 6 pack of hard to find IPA This place is Highly recommended
