I went to Five Star Hyundai looking at the Palisade and I had a wonderful experience. They had one Palisade in stock but they had one coming in. John Kosater helped me with everything. I really liked the dealership because they didnt do the tremendous market markup I experienced as some of the dealers. While I was at the dealership the truck bought the new vehicles in and I bought the Palisade that came right off the truck. This was a great experience.

I purchased today Hyundai Santa Fe Limited the whole purchase process took approximately one hour once we agreed on what the vehicle needed and what I wanted added to the vehicle and we agreed on the price we signed papers and I left the vehicle was delivered to my residence two days later and we finished up the signing of everything and the payment of the vehicle. I am currently waiting on a call for the tow hitch package and the front and back mudflaps to come in so they can be installed on the vehicle as part of the purchase agreement that was made. I gave them five stars because of their professional and honesty unlike other Hyundai dealerships that are practicing price gouging!

My name is Jacquelyn Smith on September 11, 2015 I purchased a 2015 Jeep Compass from Five Star Hyundai of Macon. Upon driving the Jeep home, I realized the next day the car has no seat belt holder(clickers) on the backseat. As well as, the tire traction weather condition sensor comes on and off on the Jeep randomly while driving and triggers the ABS system to cause improper breaking. I contacted the dealership back and made them aware of this matter first then on Monday, September 13th. I expressed I have a child and how both these matters are a major safety hazard for me driving this vehicle each day. I am a mother I can not even properly drive my daughter to school in this new car, because I dont have back seat belt usage ability. I have submitted numerous pictures of my issues with my Jeep via email to the sales department and all the way to the General Manager, Keith Hartness. I keep getting pushed off onto other people each time I call the dealership and request a follow up of a service plan. I enjoyed the sales process and my salesman was great closing the deal. But it is very disappointing that the manager has not made this a top priority considering I literally just purchased my car a week ago. I felt the need to post this so others will be aware that they are not making my safe driving ability a top priority currently! I am very disappointed about the status of my new car purchase currently!

I absolutely love my new 2021 Santa Fe Calligraphy!! It has so many features and upgrades for the price. I had to expand my search to 250 miles to find this amazing car. I have been looking for one for over 6 months. The pandemic has slowed a lot of things down so it has been difficult for dealerships to get them. Five Star Hyundai was the first dealership to get this car so fully equipped. My salesman John Kosater, went out of his way to help this out of state sale go as smooth as possible. I live in Alabama and they were kind enough to meet me half way or otherwise it would have taken me 9 hours to drive there and back. We did all the paperwork online and it was super easy. John K was a decent salesperson to work with. Thats the extent of the positives for this review. The dealership posts cars on their website they dont have. The GM told me when I was there (obviously without knowing how long I had been talking with John) they hadnt gotten a new car from Hyundai is several *weeks*. So they didnt just sell the car, it was never on the lot.The bait and switch routine was bad enough, but the GMs attitude.. I dont have the proper words to describe how bad it was. I will never buy from this dealership, and will never recommend it to anyone.Shame I cant give this place a zero star rating.

My vehicle was towed in off the interstate with a blown motor thanks to Hyundai!! But Steve was very rude and disrespectful when I came to him about the scratch’s on my car!! And blaming it on the towing company! When I asked who towed my vehicle in he wouldn’t tell me!! So someone is going to pay for it! Will not recommend this place to anyone unless they step up and do the right thing and get the scratches fixed without me having to make the 3 hour drive again!!!

I went for an oil change thought I would be there a few hours but to my surprise I was there on time and was out within 45 min. Everyone in the service dept. I spoke to was so very nice. I drank coffee and watched TV till they got done with my car. Thank you everyone in service that i talked to for being so kind. I will see you on my next service call. Donnie at five star Hyundai in Macon was excellent he is the reason we purchased our vehicle there. I will not lie and say I was impressed with your financial team especially Mr. Dean. While he was not out right rude, his people skills were somewhat lacking. The financial man at Five Star Dodge, who finalized our transaction was Very professional. I cannot remember his name but he was nice and accommodating. Again I cannot say enough positive things about Donnie. I appreciate that he was very transparent. His honesty and willingness to help was what sold the vehicle. The five stars are for him
