Woke up to find the back window in my car shattered. Googled auto glass repair and called a shop in my area, the guy that answered the phone told me to go to a junkyard, find a window of that same car, buy it then bring it over to him to install it. Are you kidding me? Then I called another place and nobody bothered answering the phone. Then I called Zimbrick body shop and April answered the phone. I told her my window in my old car needed to be replaced. She said she would order one asap and have the techs come out to my house to install it the next day. The team came out, and installed it so crazy fast my head was spinning! You can tell these people take pride in their jobs and what they do and it shows! Thanks again Zimbrick! !
Very nice job fixing my bumper and a/c. Also color match is amazing. I want to paint my entire car, Im going to see what it cost.
Thank you so much! My truck looks great after the accident. Much appreciate the hard work Brian and everyone in the body shop did to get me back in my truck.
I have never been in a car accident. I am 36yo. I was so nervous about how my car was going to look after it came out of the shop. WELL, It looks fantastic. I am so thankful they did such a great job. I was dealing with Rob. He kept me up to date on everything. The hood was still a little bent up by the window. That’s the only reason why it’s not five stars.Thank you very much!
Did a great job repairing the vehicle and even cleaned the inside of the car.
I used the Zimbrick Mobile Glass repair to replace a windshield. They worked with my insurance company, so I only had to pay my deductible. It was very easy. They put in my new windshield while I was at work. I didnt have to go to them, they came to my office and did a great job.
A car accident with in its self is nothing more than an inconvenience, even if its not ones fault, I was well prepared for that. Zimbrick east is the original dealership my car came from, so I thought the body shop would make the process go faster. I also moved to the west-side recently so this was a little out of the way. They were fantastic when it came to paying for my loaner car the last two weeks, I am truly grateful. However, I have one issue and I really should give them a three star rating for this. Madison area was told about an upcoming snowstorm for a week. Friday the storm arrives and the vehicle wont be ready until 5 oclock, I was ready to pick it up that same morning. Zimbrick closes at 6 and I cant leave work due to the storm until 11 oclock, and the loaner is payed up to that same day. I would have to pick it up Monday.I just wish they couldve scheduled the pick up until Monday and the loaner. Now I have to pay out of pocket and wait two more days to pick up my actual car, this marks three weeks and four times the changed the date.Again Iam truly grateful they paid for the loaner during those two weeks.
Got into an accident and took my car here per State Farms recommendation. Overall experience was meh. Very difficult to get in touch with my estimator and every time I called I had to leave a voice mail and wait 3-5 hours for him to call me. They did get it done ahead of schedule which was great but the quality of repairs was lackluster. Front bumper doesnt fit great and Ive got new panel gaps, they had to put shims in to get my hood to close, and when they installed and painted my hood they got overspray all over the opposite fender so it feels like sand paper. The overall paint quality is good given my car is pearl so I have to give them credit there but its quite evident that no one inspected the work when it was done. Ill be taking it back to get things worked on and if it improves, Ill leave an addendum on this review. Overall, there are better alternatives in Madison and I cannot recommend Zimbrick as it stands.*Update*I contacted State Farm and had an inspector sent to my house. All the defects were photographed and documented and new stuff was found. The technicians broke off multiple clips from the plastic engine cover which entirely ruined it when they put it back together. They also found that had to use shims to make my hood close because the technician put the bumper on first and forgot to adjust the hood latch, so rather than do it correctly they just put a shim in the hood and called it a day, hoping I wouldnt notice.State Farm sent this information to the shop manager who I also contacted. The manager was on time, had things setup, and made stuff everything was fixed. He was also easy to get ahold of and was apologetic for what happened which I appreciated. I inspected the vehicle, was satisfied, and then brought it to a friend who owns a body shop elsewhere who checked it out and was pleased.Overall, I wouldnt recommend coming here for repairs. The vibe I get is that the facility puts out mediocre work and hopes you wont notice. Luckily, I have friends who were able to look at things and noticed stuff I didnt. What I worry about is someone who is older, not knowledgeable about vehicles, or doesnt have people who know what to look for getting absolutely swindled. If you can self advocate, the work will get done eventually but the fact you still have to complain and make noise to get anything taken care of correctly is disheartening.
There was white dust all over 1 side of car, they damaged my power mirror controls then wanted to charge me to fix. Did not buff out all the scratches. Did not inspect the car before telling me it was ready.
They scratched the inside of my front window, left tape on hood and tape reminents. I HATE Zimbrick. I will go to Gerber Collision next time if i need it.Brian must NOT read his emails. I told him Erie or AMFAM insurance. I called on Thursday because I didnt hear from Zimbrick by Wednesday. I told Brian AMFAM sent the work order over on Monday. Brian found the email but then couldnt start work on the vehicle until I signed paperwork. I couldnt get there until Monday but according to Brian it was my fault for the delay.I guess they have to blame someone.I bought the LEMON OF AN EQUINOX from Zimbrick GMC Eastside January 25th. I didnt believe that they would screw over a previous employer but I guess Zimbrick doesnt care since they have so many dealerships. I put $500 in the car in June. I put another $2190 into the vehicle in September. Now the vehicle needs $3500 more worth of work. Zimbrick employees and the company could care less.Brian told me that my battery was old and they could put in New battery for $200. I paid $12,000 for this piece of shut vehicle and Zimbrick doesnt care. Oh they offered to take the vehicle back but I needed a loan to get an Acadia that has a check engine light on. I didnt get the loan.Zimbrick also title hopped on my vehicle. It was sold to Jefferson Auto/Midwest auto. They title hopped and sold my vehicle to someone who had an accident in Milwaukee with it.If you choose Zimbrick GMC Eastside or the body shop they are just out to fill their pockets NOT TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS.
Had work done here a little over a year ago. The work done seemed fine and they were nice while they were working on my car. A couple months later, though, I stopped in to ask a question as I was replacing something that a service manager somewhere else recommended I have them look at it before proceeding. I blown off quite rudely - Brandon, the service guy who had previously been polite, didnt even bother to get up from his desk to talk to me. I offered to come back at a different time, and was informed by the receptionist he couldnt do anything to help. Confusing/ frustrating as I was just asking for him to talk to me about a question I had about my car. Their impolite and lazy attitude towards customer service and confusing attitude shift were not confidence-inspiring for the quality/ consistency of their work.
Only reason Im giving them a 1 is because I cant give them a 0 it wont let me. I took my truck there today to get a estimate on paint and they tell me oh all that can be buffed out lmfao um no you can see plan as day its threw the clear so I go on to show them and tell them and he says oh ok yah. So I say can you do anything for me no you need to go to a detail shop and see if they can buff it ok you going to pay for that cuz Im not going to when I know its not buff able. Well needless to say took it to 5 or her shops and got estimates from $1900 up to $2540 so yah just buff it out.
Excellent service, though the work I wanted is small, they have done a neat job. They kind a read your mind, very professional.
My car was hit on the front end by a cargo truck tire that fell of its axle. When I called Zimbrick I told them about issues I was having with a sensor and the alignment ever since the accident. They said they will look everything over when I brought it in. When I brought it in for the estimate I again told them about the issues I was having and they did not include it on the paper work. When I pointed it out, they said it was covered under undisclosed damage. After I picked up the car, I still had sensor and alignment problems and I called and they said the sensor light wasnt on when I brought it in (it is intermittent)so they couldnt check it and they didnt drive my car. They wanted me to bring it in the next week but I wasnt able so they said when I brought it in for service to have them call the body shop so they could take care of it. I said asked who was going to pay for it because I was not. They said I wouldnt have to.When I made the appt. for service I explained everything to the woman taking the call. When I brought my car in I again went over everything so they would call the body shop. I just got a call from the body shop. They have no recollection of the conversations and said the accident would not have caused an alignment issue.I cant wait for my lease to be up and I will never get a car from them again!!!
Zimbrick Body Shop did a great job on my vehicle. Took a little longer than i thought it would but, they did a great job so I didnt mind.
Good but unresolved issues. Will update when and if its fixed correctly.
This is one of the better Zimbrick body shops. Im disappointed that I went to the other one :(
