Absolute professional and courteous service from beginning to end. We spoke to three employees while there and each one took the time and effort to explain what they were doing while repairing my windshield. Its become quite a rarity to have such professional and courteous service these days and it was really great to have such a great experience with Safelite. THANK YOU!

I asked the why is my windshield cracked more than when you got here he said he had to fill it. His crack has now opened up and I need a new windshield and Safelite told me I’m on my own that there’s always a chance of that happening. So now I get to spend $600 for a new one. Well I know Safelite will not ever get my business again and my boss will not use them ever again, and we have a fleet of 70 trucks. So I hope it was worth it Safelite.

Very impressed. I showed up 20 minutes early and they got me right in. They fixed the chip in my windshield in just a little over half an hour. They really did a great job.

I made an appointment for 9am(albeit, I was a couple of minutes late) and I was told my windshield would be replaced by 5pm. What is the point of making an appointment then? Had I made plans to be OOO for 2 hours(the time promise for a windshield replacement) I would not have been able to plan accordingly. Completely unacceptable.

Safelight was friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. I had waited to get this done thinking it would be $500+, but I had it replaced for $370.Dropped it off on the morning at 10 and it was ready in an hour or two. I picked it up just before 5. Had a quick and painless check out, and was on my way. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had an appointment for two weeks. When I arrived at 9:30am, the man at the desk says I had you at 9:30am. to which I replied Yeah...I know. to his reply Oh it is 9:30! Good start.I was told to wait and a technician would come and help me to see the cracks in my windshield. 9:50am rolls around, I have not been helped. I go up to the desk and ask if my car is being worked on, the man working says Oh I never put the paperwork up, I got distracted, sorry.Then he asked where the cracks in my glass were, I told him I could just show him. I show him and he says Youll have to make a new appointment, we cant fix that. I feel as though they couldve told me that at any point during the two weeks I had the appointment. Granted I filled out an online form, but all the cracks/chips were small and under 6 inches, as it lists on the online form for repair rather than replacement.In conclusion, I left after waiting for 20 minutes for no one to help me, and was told to come back in a week, for $350 more. Pass.

I had a tiny chip in my Jeep, so I scheduled an appointment with Safelite through my Gieco Insurance App. The next day the tech came to fix the chip at my work and I thought all was well. When I came out at lunch I discover the tiny chip had been turn into a noticeable crack. I have done this myself and have friends who work in auto glass repair (should have used them!) and it was obvious to everyone shown the technician applied excessive pressure to the windshield when attempting to fill in the chip. The tech left without telling me and never stated damage may occur. He said it was an easy one and he’d be done in no time. I called Safelite today and spoke with Customer Service who basically told me there’s nothing they could do but they would transfer me to the specific store manager to see if he could work with me. The manager I was connected with spoke over me for much of the phone call and stated his guy had been doing it for years and he didn’t do it. He said it could have spread when I hit a bump, but the problem with that is the truck never moved. They are taking zero responsibility for causing damage to something they were meant to fix. He tried to pack it too hard and cracked it in the process and now they are doing nothing. I’m out $500 to replace what should have been a free and easy process.

Got a crack in my windshield from a rock and called my insurance company and they got me an appointment with Safelite on the Beltline in Madison WI for the next day. Everything went great and the windshield, made in the USA, looks great and fits great.

Made an appointment. When I arrived they realized they ordered the wrong windshield. Made another appointment for 2 days later and found out the windshield they ordered was damaged. Appointment number 3 is scheduled for next week. Ive used them previously bwith good results or the rating would be lower.

We made an appointment this morning to get our windshield repaired after a rock hit the glass while driving. We had a tech come out the same day (Peter) and had it repaired in under 15 mins. He was knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. Great customer service from start to finish! I would highly recommend their services to any one in the Madison area.

Had my windshield repaired, I was in and out under an hour. They took care of collecting payment directly with my insurance, and they washed my windshield (in and out) and vaccumed.Happy to have it taken care of before the crack got bigger. Pretty seamless experience.

I had a great experience at this Safelite location- the tech was very professional and the repair took less than 20 minutes. The reception area was clean and the coffee was good. All employees observed COVID safety protocol and the hand sanitizer was easily accessible from the entrance. I had a small chip in my windshield caused by a kicked-back rock; the tech explained that the repair would reinforce the damaged area and that a small portion of the damage would still be visible which was the case. They also professionally cleaned my floor mats and windows. Overall I had a great experience and paid exactly what I anticipated!

Appointment scheduling through a website was pretty easy. Safelite fixed my windshield in 35 minutes. Im happy with the price and repair quality.

I hate leaving bad reviews but felt it was necessary feedback.Scheduled my appointment five different times. The first 4 appointments, the technician never showed. I was told that someone would call and be out to my car “soon” and this never happened. I’ll give credit to the manager for offering to throw in free windshield wipers. This must be a one-off bad experience based on the reviews but super inconvenient to have something scheduled 5 different times and be stood up essentially. I was prepared to give $400 worth of my business to this company and no one wanted to take me up on it.Now using another service for cheaper because after being stood up 4 times, they asked if I could drive out to the shop on my time... super unprofessional.

Fixed my window a small crack the size of quarter.. the new window would of cost me over 300..$ Michael was awesome 👌 he vacuumed the car cleaned all my windows at my house..mobile service is the way to go...employe professionalism to its highest standards. Total cost .? 150$ ..now thats a deal!!!!!

Took my car in to get a small chip in my front windshield fixed that wouldve been covered by my insurance but after five minutes of it being worked on, the workers some how turned a fixable chip into an 8 inch crack. So after being told that happened, they had me set up an appointment for a new window that will now cost me $1,000 out of my pocket. They would not cover it even though they caused it. On top of all that... half of the workers I talked to had no mask on, they must of forgot it was a pandemic.

I Cannot get through to ANYONE! This is terrible! I finally had to do a chat and Im #60 in line. This is not how a business should be ran. I would NOT got through this company if you do not have too.

Absolute greatest service youll have getting Auto Glass. They replace my windshield at an amazing deal. If I could give more stars I would.

I never needed to get my windshield repaired before. I didnt know how to start this process. So I went online and looked up windshield repair. Safelite AutoGlass was the 1st thing that appeared. After checking out their website, I filled out all the info it required, (that took about 3 mins.) So from start to finish, learning about what I needed to do and scheduling the appointment took less then 10 mins. 2 days later I took my car to safelite and within 40 mins the new windshield was installed, they even vacuumed the front floor, seats, and dashboard. Then they wiped down the dashboard and really made my car look great. All of those little things like cleaning the dash off and vacuuming the carpet, is why I gave 5 stars. They also sprayed new car scent after they were done. I was not sure what to expect going into this, with that being said, I cant imagine any place else doing a better job. Also their were no out of pocket costs at all. With my basic insurance policy, windshield repair is 100% covered. Thanks for doing a great job Safelite.

Got hit by a turkey. Was headed back to West Va it was not safe to drive and had 10 hours ahead of me. They did not have appointments they were back to back, but they got me in and out in 3 hours including ordering the windshield and having it delivered, because of the need. Super happy!!! Best first time visit I could ask for. Big thanks to Brad the assistant manager.

Filled a crack in my windshield, unfortunately it had started to spread and 2 days after getting filled, it cracked even more, back for replacement.

I had a rock chip and crack my windshield on vacation. When I got back I scheduled a replacement service online and they had appointments right away the next day. Peter the technician called and narrowed down the best time for him to come and replace the glass. He was prompt, on-time, and very communicative about where he was with his day and his schedule to keep me updated on the appointment. He was able to pull his mobile service van into the parking garage to do the work right at my parking space. He was very friendly and had great things to say about Safelite and reassured me that it would be just like the original windshield. An hour later he was done and it was like nothing ever happened. He told me to call his personal number if I had any issues over the next few days and they will come out and make it right. So far so good! The prices were fair and they integrate with most insurance companies to make dealing with a claim simple and easy.Great job guys!

My insurance company recommended Safelite for my windshield repair. The work was performed but at a very poor quality. The rock chips are both still very visible and dont appear to be filled in. After the work was completed you could still see the suction cups rings on the windshield and the injection sites were still very visible on the windshield. Now it has been a week and the windshield looks no different than it did prior to the work. I have sent feedback to Safelite with no return calls or emails. I will not be recommending them to anyone nor will I be going back there in the future.

I’m a truck driver. Windshield shattered because of snow plow. Made a appointment online was told to bring my truck over in 60 mins got there at 7:30 only one customer there. The guy at the desk said they wouldn’t work on it until 4:30pm so I left. Never had a problem with appointments with safelite before I use them all the time. If you have problems go to glass works. The guy came to me in about two hours replaced windshield in 10 mins and for half the price. No road service free🕺🏾🕺🏾💯

I had my window replaced in my 2018 f350 platinum and they damaged my dash and window pillars. I have been ignored by them on this matter they had sent a guy out to my house to view the damage he said it was from them with no argument and he said they would take of it and that was the last I heard from them I keep trying to contact them and I’m just being ignored. I do not recommend them

I called them to fix a chip and the guy that came broke my windshield . They made me buy a new one... It was only a chip the guy put that machine on it and talked to his girlfriend for 1/2 HOUR . i wouldnt recommend them to anyone.if he had paid attention it wouldnt have broke.I had a chip fixed before and it was worse than this. Negligent behavior encouraged in this company. They made ME pay for his negligence.0 stars was not an option.

I made an appointment for 5 PM on a Tuesday afternoon. I arrived 30 minutes early and was helped right away. I was greeted immediately as I walked in the door. I was offered coffee, soda, water, TV, and WiFi. I sat in the waiting room for about 10 minutes (I opted to wait, I was given the opportunity to drop off). The tech came back into the waiting area and the manager at the counter explained to me that the windshield they ordered to replace mine was delivered cracked. I asked when I would be able to reschedule and Brad Welling (Assistant Store Manager) was very helpful. Not only did he schedule my appointment for first thing Friday morning, but he scheduled for a tech to drive to my work and replace my windshield while I was working. He waived the drive fee and took an extra $40 off the price of my windshield. The tech arrived on time and quickly replaced my windshield. He explained that I could pay with cash, check, or card. Everyone throughout this process was fast, friendly, and cared about repair needs and schedule. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Honestly the best experience Ive ever had getting my car repaired. Someone vandalized my car and smashed my drivers side window. From the minute I called, Brad was SO nice, helpful, and accommodating. My car looks good as new (and it looked rough) and the price ended up being extremely reasonable. Would definitely go through this Safelite again (just hoping I wont have to, of course. =))

Had a window replaced. Tech was onetime and very nice. within 24hrs my rear view mirror came off. OK no problem Ill just call the warranty number. Well the warranty number says I can only schedule online and the online system wont let me schedule and that I need to call in.... wow epic fail Safelite. Have tried emailing customer.care@safelite, texting the number provided (which wont even go through) and calling my local safelite shop (just get put into the same automated loop that tells me to schedule online). I get that Covid has made things different but this is a total joke. Its been a week since sending my first email to customer care and still nothing. I have a cross country road trip in a few days and my mirror is dangling.

I had my rear drivers side window replaced at Safelite in Madison, WI. Upon arrival, I felt very reassured. Brad Welling greeted me by name and asked about what had happened. He let me know how long the service would take. He called me prior to being done to inform me that they would have to install an additional part in my door that had been ruined by the broken glass. He let me know my options, and even spoke to my father on the phone to inform him about the destroyed part. He even offered to replace the broken part with a used part that I had found at a discounted price. He fit me in to get the part fixed right away, at a time that was most convenient for me. I have dealt with automotive issues in the past, and I have many family members who are in the automotive industry, so I understand the general rough attitude that they can sometimes carry. Being a 24 year old young lady, I felt completely respected and NOT patronized at all. They took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly and gave me options. This was definitely one of the best customer service experiences that I have had! I will definitely recommend Brad and his team in Madison to anyone!

One of the most outstanding service experiences I have had. I am even giving this 5 star rating after an initial snafu with appointment scheduling because the service, communication, and experience was so positive and the encounter so well handled. Everything from the online scheduling, to the timely insurance approval, to all personnel interactions has been above and beyond in service and friendliness. In addition, they provided a frank consultation that resulted in my car getting the care it needed at less cost to me. I was very impressed. They will ALWAYS have my business from now on.

I have received awful service from fish hatchery road location, I had them put a windshield in on my land Rover last year and the technician broke my cowl and it still has yet to be replaced. Then the windshield leaks and they have yet to repair it and Ive been trying to get it fixed for the last year. And I feel that this is ridiculous I will never have Safelite work on another one of my vehicles ever again.

First time Ive ever had a car window replaced. Its a really stressful experience waking up to your car window smashed and items stolen out of it. Luckily I have a low insurance deductible. The first time I brought it in, to see if they had the part or needed to order it, they were super friendly and understanding and seemed genuine. They deal with fixing windows every day, I was surprised they werent desensitized by it. It made the process easier by them being so kind to me. I called them before with my make and model, so they knew exactly who i was as I walked in the doors.I had to come back later that day to have it installed (the part was at another shop), but they wrapped the window and vacuumed out the car in the meantime I was driving it around. I was happy it was installed and over with so quickly. Less than an hour and was quoted 2 hours.I think theyre kind pricey if you dont have insurance. A friend told me her window cost $100 less. I never got other quotes, so Im not sure.I would 100% recommend.

Safelite went above and beyond to help me get my windshield fixed. After the wrong part was sent in, they made sure to get the right windshield in and rescheduled me for as soon as they could. They were also able to come pick up my car for me and bring it back to my house once it was done. I’m 9 months pregnant and have a toddler and this made my life so much easier! Would absolutely recommend them and will be using them again if needed!

Staff was really great. I had multiple very exhausting interactions with the corporate scheduling line. I then took off work and went to the location to get my windshield replaced and was very disappointed when they called me and let me know the one they were going to replace it with also had a scratch in it. The customer service person in the Madison service center though, was polite, competent, and ordered a new one. It was replaced first thing the next morning and the cost was lowered a little for all the hassle.

Safelite replaced my windshield a few years ago and did a fabulous job. They offered to lend me a car if I needed it but I didnt and I stayed and waited and they really wasnt as long as I thought it would have been, it wasnt as long as it would have been if I had gone somewhere else. Super helpful super clean, staff was really nice. Would definitely go back if Im ever in need of their services again.

Safelite came to my home and spent 2 1/2 hours replacing a complete windshield on an older Honda. The windshield had been completely decimated and shattered. The service tech, Kyle, was professional, helpful, and friendly. He vacuumed after replacement. The entire experience from booking an appt online to the service to the followup afterward was excellent and professional. Id use them again in a heartbeat.

This was the second time I’ve been to this Safelite location and they never disappoint. Quick and reliable service, friendly and helpful agents, and such knowledgeable staff all around! They had me in and out of there in under 2 hours, offered snacks, drinks, and WiFi, AND gave me clear, verbal instructions before leaving. All around amazing experience! They are over 100$ more expensive than the competition. They claim to be “better” but they are just saying this. You can’t speak to a person to schedule or get a quote. Called in to inquire about getting a rear view mirror attached on my moms old car. These guys got me in on the same day, hassle free, and did it for FREE while I waited. Friendly staff. Highly recommend them.

Everything about getting our windshield was seamless and professional. I liked all of the communication and also the follow-up emails confirming what was discussed over the phone.

Wrong parts were ordered and service manager tried to shift the blame on me, saying that I had told them I would order my own parts and bring them in. That made no sense at all. Always get everything in writing from these people. Untrustworthy and unreliable.

I was a little skeptical when I left the parking lot, as I heard a lot of noise coming from the windshield, it seemed like every bump I hit you could hear the windshield rattle, when I got home and talked to my family about how noisy it was they insisted I take the car back to safelite, but me being a skeptic, I decided to wait a few days to see if it sounded any better. I’m glad I waited, by the end of the week no noise. I believe the noises that I was hearing was the windshield just Settling. No more noise, and best of all no leaking. I brought my car to their location on the East side. I was met with a friendly and professional employee ay the front desk. She told me all I needed to know, what to expect, and the estimated time that Id habe to wait. The facility was clean, comfortable and a selection of coffees ready to drink, plenty of trading material and a TV to watch while I waited. The work was done right, quickly, and when my car was ready the guy that worked in it answered all my questions. I recommend this location.

Front window on our Kia was unfortunately cracked at an edge by a chunk of gravel behind an uncovered dump truck. Brought it in, and had them replace the entire front windshield, as it was too long to do a repair. Excellent service, and the whole process was quick and efficient.

The technician left dirty greasy fingerprints all over the cloth interior of my car. A detailing shop wasn’t able to get the stains out. Safelite expressed that they don’t care whatsoever. Now I have to go to court to get them to repair the damage. Avoid at all costs!!!

I came in asking for my car window to be wrapped with crash wrap or whatever they call it.. I explained that my car was broken into last night and I’m supposed to be driving back to my hometown today that’s 7 hours away. It’s been pouring all day and the lady at the desk told me it’ll be a long wait and it might not stick but regardless, she took my keys so I sat & waited. Throughout the time I waited, she kept saying “we can’t do anything until it dries up” to the people behind the desk. Instead of saying that to everyone else, say that to me and I would’ve left instead of sitting here for half an hour listening to you talk about me. All you said to me is it might not stick but i was willing to take the chance. If you would’ve said what you were telling everyone else, i would’ve left. I also watched another girl come in to get her window fixed and she was super nice to this girl, offered her some beverages, WiFi, and if she needs anything to let her know. I wasn’t told any of this. She was rude to me for no reason.

Very quickly fixed the crack in my windshield, professional, and even took care of filing the claim directly with my insurance company.

It took a while 2hr 20 min to replace windshield in Ford F150, but its a big job. I went there and their waiting room was fine. Looks like a brand new windshield! Ford Dealer told me to go there for OEM replacement. Ford Dealer said they bring Safelite in to do their glass replacement and they then charge customer more.

Well the guy showed up on time but then messed up my windshield even more, didn’t seem to know what he was doing, nice enough but would shut up about how hung over he was from the night before and how tired he was. Then he tried to sell me a new windshield which was nearly triple to what the replacement cost is at over places. Then at the end he couldn’t find any of my claim info that I had given the lady on the phone the day before.Not impressed the guy messed up my windshield costing me time and money!EDIT. What a joke a called the 1-800 number to tell them about my experience, not helpful, wasted more of my time, The guy actually said to me “and what’s the problem” after I explained my experience.shop around this place is extremely high priced!

I went in on Christmas Eve after my kid knocked off my rear view mirror with his head monkeying around in my car.. Steve fixed it in an hour at no cost to me or my insurance and sent me on my merry way.. This is the way to do business. He easily could have charged me through the nose for an expensive repair. Overhearing the man working the desk was cordial and very helpful to all customers who came in while I was there for my hour. Thank you SOOOOO Much Safelight!

I can report that I have been very happy with the Safelite office in Madison Wisconsin after needing to replace my windshield twice in two years. First, all the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They back a generally bad situation bearable to deal with. A+Second, I had issues around both installations and this is where they really nailed it. Many companies get new installation and service done well but I like looking at how well a company deals with small to large issue once you have paid and are out the door. Again A+ to Safelite on addressing after sales service.

*** Update*** My continued problems stem from the manufacturer of my windshield. Safelite is contacting GM and getting me a third replacement from them directly. Hopefully this solves the problem. Everyone at the madison office has been very nice and responsive.Had my windshield replaced on my 2015 Tahoe at my place of work. Tech was nice, but watching him work was a bit scary. Watching him pry and bend plastic corner pieces to get the windshield free, stepping on the front molded bumper and then ultimately breaking a piece of my rear view windshield mount (it houses the rain sensor as well) so that the mount doesnt hold in place... it makes me sick... it seems as some sloppy adhesive was used to try to fix the plastic clip that was broken. It would have been much better had the tech just came clean and said... yep... I did that. Here is how we can fix it. Dont try to sweep it under the rug. Corporate says I can drive over to my local shop and they will fix it right away... Lucky me... Leave work, drive, while I have extremely low expectations of them being able to fix it since the broken plastic clip is gone… If you have a decent vehicle, ignore your insurance company and just go to your dealer.

Safelite is horrible service. Sat on hold for 13 mins. And when I finally spoke with a person they tried to upsell me and talk to me about EVERYTHING but my windshield. Later on when they showed up... WRONG WINDSHIELD! Never again!

I was told that there would be a slight blemish left after the repair. What was left was about the same size as what was supposed to be fixed. I also bought wiper blades. Big mistake. Now my windshield doesnt get completely wiped off in the rain. Wish Id gone elsewhere.
