I came in for a wheel alignment. It was my first time at this location. Jayson the assistant manager provided me with excellent customer service. I believe the technician name was keri. He did the best wheel alignment I ever had. He test drive my car and made sure the alignment was precise before he returned my car to me. I will definitely be returning back to this location. I came here to put on my new tires and rims and they did it with no problems. They are very fast and efficient and if you do have any problems they will cater to you. Super friendly and prices are fair. Jay is a really nice guy and got me in and out in 30 minutes. What I like most is that they are a franchise so prices don’t change unlike most mechanic shops. 10/10 recommend for all your car needs.

FYI my car has been held hostage at your Madison NJ shop for two days now. Not ONE person has called me with an update and everytime I call, not one person can tell me what the status of installing TIRES on my car. How is this possible???? How difficult is it to inform a customer as to the status of the only service you provide ... TIRE INSTALLATION!?!?!? NOT ONE PERSON FROM THE MADISON, NJ STORE HAS CALLED ME TO PROVIDE ME WITH ANY UPDATES. Has my car been stolen? I will be calling the police first thing in the AM, because at this point I can only assume that my car has been stolen.

Mavis in Madison definitely serves the customer. They take the time to inform you of the situation in its entirety and present all possible options. Nice guys and will definitely continue to use them regularly.

I had a good experience here. The pricing was what they quoted and the shop was fairly organized. I recommend calling ahead for pricing to make sure you know whats available.My only disappointment was that I was told to come in first thing in the morning and the job should take about an hour. It took twice that long and I chose to wait based on what I was told. I would have gone to work and come back had I known it would take as long as it did.Otherwise, the experience was fine.

Got new tires for my F150, service was great. Super nice crew working there....Prices are reasonable and shop is clean. Five stars all day. Will be going back to get new Shocks and struts soon.

I am a college student and got a nail in my tire. A simple issue but I needed to go somewhere other than my mechanic back home and that is always a nerve wracking experience. I went to the Mavis in Madison and not only was I in and out in an hour but Jay didn’t charge me for taking the nail out. It is such a relief to have found a place that is close by, that I know I can go to and will be taken care of! Mavis employees are the best employees!

Visited this site to get an oil change. They informed me that my rear brakes desperately needed to be changed and that they could do it along with the oil change without extending the wait time significantly. The person behind the counter was very friendly and kept me updated as I waited for my car. The cost was less than expected and I am very happy with the service.

Took my car to this shop, I have been told that I need a part which they have installed and car did not even started and I am pretty sure they they did not spend 2 hours on my car which i was chared 2 hours as well. I have called to part deparment and part they installed is was not over 150 and I have been charged double of the money. These guys are rip off and liers. I will never visit this shop nor any of my friend and family.

It takes many years to find a good mechanic you can trust with your car. . ANDY B from Mavis in Madison, is an EXCELLENT, PROFESSIONAL and more importantly, a KNOWLEDGEABLE mechanic. He knew about my car problems a Factory Honda mechanic could not diagnose or fix. I will not let anyone else touch my car now. I found him and the store years ago. The Store has always kept me informed of my repairs and offered suggestions but never pushed--just for FYI. Mechanics are not cheap but they are paid and we pay to have them diagnose and fix our problems the first time. So far, in all they years I have been dealing with ANDY and Mavis, I have never had to take my car back to re-fix anything. Because of my years of wonderful service on my 98 Honda, I will not deal with anyone else or go to any other Shop. It seems many online reviews of many things and people are negative but I speak for myself and the most important thing I own--a SAFE, RELIABLE car, has always been serviced correctly and I am completely satisfied and happy. Glad I found a GREAT MECHANIC..

Amazingly unethical and dishonest. A few months ago, we purchased new tires from them. One constantly leaked. Upon bringing it back, we were charged with minor repair to fix the new tires leak — and they found another item in the car that demanded immediate attention and further charges. After an additional month, the supposed fixed new tire was still leaking. We returned once again. This time, they discovered a nail (which they told us they would save for us to see). As usual, they found another major problem (unbidden) with the car to charge us for further unnecessary repairs…. In short, a single new tire cost us almost $ 2,000 at this shop. We would seriously recommend that people with either auto repair or tire needs go somewhere else for service… anywhere else…!!

They did not try to get me spend more than I need to and also used online coupon for my oil change. Will definitely come back as I work nearby.

I was looking for inexpensive tires online. Mavis tires had the best deal and low and behold there was a location close to home. I thought, perfect. I called the shop, gave them the tires I wanted and booked my appointment. After looking at my vehicle, Jason, the General Manager told me that I had ordered the wrong size for my car, but told me that he may be able to find the correct size at another Mavis and install it later in the day. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and couldn’t wait, but that I would return the next morning. I found Jason to be very kind and his demeanor showed he really wanted to help.I returned at 8am, which is when the shop opens. Jason greeted me with a smile and though his mechanics hadn’t arrived yet he did not have me wait. He pulled my vehicle in right away and changed my tires himself. He gave a few tips, and was kind and considerate.Then, when I thought I was done my key had gotten stuck in the ignition! Turns out, there’s a problem GMC issued regarding this issue. (Learned this via Googling while Jason tried to get the key out.) Stupid car! Jason spent extra time (quite a bit) on getting the key out of the ignition and he made sure not to cause any damage.I will, without a doubt go back to this Mavis. I plan on buying all future tires from this place. I find the entire staff (honorable mention goes to Jared the manager who I spent a little time talking with, who was also very kind and pleasant). I trust that my car will be in great hands, and the level of service is exemplary. It’s not often that we leave any car service place with a huge smile due to the service.

On a Saturday afternoon at 4 pm, my tire light came on. Sure enough, one of my tires was low. I am a travel nurse from out of town, so I had no idea where to go for a repair. Fortunately Google led me to this shop. I called first to see if they could help me since they closed at 5 pm and I would not arrive until 4:30. The cheerful man who answered the phone told me that they would be glad to help. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes for a more than reasonable fee. Everyone in the shop was helpful and courteous. I will definitely go back when I have to replace my tires.

Didn’t have a good experience, I suppose because I am a young woman. My car is 2 years old and they told me I needed new brake fluid. I double checked of course before spending the $90 extra and my dealership said I absolutely do not need to change the fluid. I also was told I need to change the air filter for another ~$50 without even being shown the filter. I guess they expected me to take their word. I can change an air filter myself. They did all of this while my car wasn’t even finished with the oil change, over the phone. This is an in person conversation so I can inspect the car myself before making a decision. If you are young and a woman, I would suggest not coming here as they will try to add extra charges without even showing you the car. I will not be coming back here. Honda charges ~$150 (or less if they have a sale) for oil change, rotating tires, wiper fluid, etc. Completely upset I came here in the first place. Even the oil change is overpriced.

Exceptional customer service - very accommodating and fairly priced as well as quick service. I had a last minute issue and had two children to watch at the same time and they accommodated my family and I to help make a disaster of a morning into a not so bad situation that was easily remedied. They have earned my business moving forward.

This review is based on my experiences servicing 4 cars over the past few years, and on numerous repair visits in between. Service techs (specifically Jason and Andy at the Madison location) are patient, honest and informative. Overnight on Monday my stalled 2015 Chrysler 200s was towed and left in their lot. I was driving by noon the next day with a new alternator, battery, etc...always a quick turnaround and quality work. At times when car ownership really stings the most, guys like Jason and Andy at Mavis in Madison certainly help to make it less painful. Keep it up guys!

I stopped going to dealerships after my experience with Mavis! Best spot and amazing deals. Prices are so much better than dealerships. The sales associate are very helpful and recommended what is necessary to be replaced compared to dealerships where they offer anything without recommendations. My go to place for my Lexus!

I have been just charged over 500 dollar and not even fixed anything on my veichle. They have changed a part and then told me that engine failure. I have been charged 300 $ for a part that would not go over 200, most expensive one.These guys are lier and cheaters. When I argue with them I did not even feel safe.
