Jim was phenomenal and went above and beyond our expectations in helping us get set up with new phones and trade in our old phones. The entire process was smooth and seamless and even the small hiccup that was created outside of the stores control, he handled it in such a wonderful and helpful manner! The store itself is clean and easy to navigate and they take Covid protocols seriously. Highly recommend!

My family has been with US Cellular since the mid 90s, over the many years weve been with them our experiences have been largely positive. Their service has remained consistently good and the products and phones weve purchased have always been of the upmost quality. I would personally recommend this phone store to anyone interested in getting a new phone or tablet, or to anybody looking to switch carriers.

I went here yesterday, shopping for a handicapped friend of mine; he needed a new charger and cord. A very friendly employee asked what she could do for me. I told her the situation, the correct cord and charger was found, paid for and all was well. Her name badge said Manager, I believe. The visit was completed in 10 minutes or less. Im grateful as all the associates were busy at each of the desks; I couldve been there awhile, but thankfully no.
I was surprised at how quickly we were helped given the line. We were checked-in and asked to wait in our car until they texted us. Waiting time was only 10 or 15 minutes. Overall, pretty good service for this soon after the holidays! Unfortunately they have to ship the phone which will take 3 to 7 days.
Long-standing customer. Terrible experience this past weekend - associate was patronizing, rude, and unhelpful. Asked for help picking out a new phone (switching from an Android to an iPhone) and he pointed to a display and told me to go and look. Ended up listening in on another associate helping a different customer to better inform my choice. I stopped asking questions during the contract/signature process because our associate answered everything so rudely and patronizing. Misled us about the “discounts” applied. Myself, my husband and my father in law - three competent adults - all felt duped and really frustrated.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! MUST READ!!!2 years ago I left my parents plan at Verizon and started my own here. I signed up while there was a promo for the Galaxy S9+ and was told the discount comes 3 months after signing up. Fast forward 3 months and there was no discount applied, called customer service and they said there was no promo at that time and wouldnt do anything so I was stuck paying the full price.6 months to a year later I added my GF to the account and there hasnt been any issue with her phone (Galaxy Note 9) or discount. So I thought fine it was a fluke when I first signed up.NOT!!!Fast forward a year and I decide to upgrade a few months early because there is a deal on the S20 5G Ultra. (3-4 weeks before this post) During the process I chatted with the sales employee about finally up grading because there is a deal on the phone and made sure to ask that my data plan gets updated to Unlimited so I can get the credit after 3 months and she says for sure and I think nothing else of it. Now that some time has past my data plan never changed and the promo has since ended. I used the chat feature on the website and the person said I can upgrade to Unlimited for an additional $5 a month and it wont work retroactively for the credit because it had to be done at the same time.I have now been on hold for 52 min to talk to someone on the phone to get this resolved or I am terminating my contract because they have now screwed me over TWICE! This is a super shady place! I wish I could give them no stars!

I HAD been a returning customer to this location for 5+ years. I will start with the good service they do provide, they open the door for you when you walk in and out.I do not think it is completely fair to get into the full details why I no longer will use this location due to each customers needs and the things individuals want with customer care. BUT, staff knowledge of policies between locations seems to not be clear. With that said, this location gets a lot of people and I think some staff here chooses to opt out of assisting thoroughly (or at all) to each customer just so they can move on to the next person. Today, I felt like I was just a person whos number was called, then felt as though they chose a reason why they could not assist me today without being able to obtain the full reason of why it was policy other than just that it was policy. (I was told my photo identification was not valid.) I was seated right next to the manager stand and no one stepped in to explain even though I visibly was confused. Fyi, I left this location and immediately headed to another location and was taken care of immediately.That was not the first time I have experienced poor or less than quality customer care at this location; it was just the last straw. I have also received similar care when I call. Does this staff just not care?Note: 2 stars for door service and for the individuals on staff that have been helpful in the past
I bought my first i phone a couple weeks ago. After trying it out I felt that I am just not ready yet. I brought it back on what I thought was day 15. Come to find out they count the purchase day as #1. They do not tell you that on the day of purchase. They finally took it back but it was like pulling teeth. Lets just say taking out initially was far easier than bringing it back.
I had a GREAT experience working with Kevin at the east side store yesterday. I set up an appointment online to discuss new cell service. I have never been a US Cellular customer before and had not been a customer of a big company for a number of years due to declining service I had been receiving. But...I was due for a new phone. The online scheduling process was really easy and basically a must on a weekend. Kevin contacted me within minutes via email - which was a huge plus! He was able to get me in sooner than the online scheduling showed so that was a bonus. I got there and he was ready and waiting and greeted me in a friendly and professional manner. He really took his time to explain everything, listened to my concerns and helped me find options that were within my budget. Never did I feel like he was trying to be pushy or rush me to get to the next person. As a matter of fact, my appointment went WAY past the block of time I had and he stuck with me the whole time. I would highly recommend Kevin Ewert over as US Cellular!! And the pricing on their plans and phones is incredibly fair!

Maurquis was excellent! He looked for the best deals and was super friendly, going above and beyond with customer service. I usually dread these experiences, but it wasn’t painful this time. Four stars because the male employee sitting next to him this morning, insisted on playing loud, annoying music and a game simultaneously. We witnessed multiple employees ask him to turn it down, and he did not.

Jaymo provided excellent service and made me very happy with my phone upgrade and plan decisions. He provided me with some great tips that I otherwise would never have known, stayed matter-of-fact, and refrained from being pushy. He worked quickly and was friendly, but also respected personal boundaries. He also knows the product inside and out, and was great at explaining/comparing devices and plans. Definitely the best cell phone-related service Ive had.
Bought a new iphone and the agent had me go home to set it up myself. Found out he didn’t put in a SIM card so it didn’t work. The man who “helped” me was more interested in trading his foreign stock in front of us than actually doing his job. He was very egotistical as well and made unnecessary rude comments during our visit. The process took forever, only to leave with a non working new phone.
Went to the store because my old phone was still getting text messages and my new phone wasnt receiving them. As soon as I entered the store, a male employee asked me what I was there for and I explained my issue with my old phone. Right away, he was very rude to me and had a very condescending tone. It was uncalled for and I will not be visiting this US Cellular again.

I was helped by a guy named Mervo or something like that and he was extremely unhelpful. Unprofessional. I needed my phone transferred to my husbands account and he was very unreluctant to do it. I felt that he was very lazy and unprofessional, since he was not receiving any commission out of the deal. I ended up walking out and went to another location, where they were beyond more helpful and did not treat me like I was wasting their time. I will not be returning to this location. If it weren’t for the Sun Prairie location, I may have just switched to Verizon.
Justin is great. Out of the 5 years Ive been with US cellular he was by far the best when it comes to customer service, he was very straight forward but showed empathy in my situation.
Always good service. Some times of day suck, but thats life. Always get good technical support and service. So far, every sales person Ive dealt with has been patient and understanding. Their service is the primary reason I stay with them.

The manager Jens is rude. I was told to return my phone to the store after being misinformed on porting our iPhone 7 over from AT&T. You have 15 days to return the phone so we decided to go with a different plan after a week of bad reception and being deceived about using an existing device. The timer started before the phone came so by the time it was delivered it is on day 3! I was told to turn the phone into this location. Walked in and was not acknowledged for 15 mins. The manager sat as every agent was occupied. I approached asked if he could help and he offered to place me on a list and said he was unable to assist. I asked for a receipt for the 1k dollar phone I was leaving and they couldn’t provide it. He told me I could take it to UPS if I wanted proof they were mailing it in. I explained that I followed the agents direction and brought it to the store. He continued to belittle me saying he couldn’t give me any proof and didn’t see where she noted her instructions. I called customer service where they read to me verbatim the notes from the day before instructing me to drop the phone there. Lies after lies. These people waste your time, run your credit and when you hold them accountable they act clueless
Congrats! This is officially the slowest service Ive had in Madison. Went there twice in the last week, waited over an hour each time just to talk to someone. Staff is nice, but seriously learn how get people in and out quicker. Both times nothing was resolved for getting a new phone. Been a customer for over 10, I expect better.
Jenna was outstanding. I was in desperate need of communication, but her skills fulfilled my needs quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Jenna and her team. I was in and out of the store within 30 minutes.
Today, we spent a good hour with Jenna! She was absolutely amazing. Not only did she update our plan to fit us best, she reduced our monthly bill and still was able to get us a new phone with three accessories. Most associates at USC are only in it for a sale and Jenna was worried about our bill first. Thank you Jenna, you made today easy and reminded me why we’re loyal customers. :)

I got there a few minutes before closing after my work phone died that day to get a new phone activated. The doors were already locked and the customer service person told me through the glass doors that there was nothing they could do. They were more concerned with getting out right at 5 than with helping a customer.
I had an issue at another store and went here and they are just fantastic! Way better trained and really do know what they are doing! I worked with Chelsea and she knows whats she is doing and is very nice as well!
I have had nothing but great experiences every time I have been here. We own a company and have several lines. Chelsea and Doug always provide the best customer service. For future, I will only be coming to work at this location and will continue to work with Chelsea.

Ive always had a good experience with US Cellular, most negative thing I can say is one time a guy tried to get me to go with a cheaper model than the galaxy s I wanted for the 2 year contract for a penny deal, it wasnt even really and issue, he was just doing his job.The last time I went in I got the best service ever from a lady named Bethany Loraine, we chatted about D&D and video games while we waiting for my sweet new deceives to finish formatting and transferring data. She is now my designated Cellular dude there and we are friend on the facebooks. Any time I need something done with my plan I can just text her.My wife and I will be sticking with US Cellular for a while, and mostly due to Bethany. I had been considering dropping them as my cell provider until my last visit where she was so cool.

Called ahead and talked with Rachel about switching to US Cellular. She was great! Very informative and helpful and since I was unsure of being able to make it before closing, immediately texted me what I needed to bring when I did come in. She followed up in a couple of days. When we were finally able.to make it in, she was incredibly patient and proficient with changing over our 5 phones. I stopped in a couple of days later to customize my phone after all the updates and downloads were completed. Rachel was out but Gabe was in. He was super friendl, helpful and taught me a bit about my new phone I couldnt find on Google.

Well, I had gone there a few weeks ago, and as another reviewer, the person didnt really know anything. She told me that most people know exactly what kind of phone they want. I cant believe everyone does. Also, I wanted to test the phones, and they were not working. So, all of the phones you have out, you cant test them to see how things are? I just tried calling a minute ago. Apparently, with all the people running around there, and this is the bigger one past East Town, no one could answer the phone. I wasnt even given the option to leave a message. I am getting ready to go to Verizon.
Keegan the person that helped us was beyond unhelpful. He was not friendly and everything was rushed. I felt like asking for someone else that wouldve been more enthusiastic and enjoyable to be around.

Terrible Service! Waited an hour and was told I would be next and then they called someone else. I left. A Service Rep came in and logged in to the computer and was online for about 20 minutes. I finally asked why he wasnt waiting on a customer. Was told he didnt start until 12:30 and was just checking emails. SERIOUSLY? The place was packed with waiting customers. US Cellular needs to step up their game when it comes to customer service. Its always a very long wait, no matter what store I have visited.

After 13 years at US cellular, I am done with waiting and horrible costumer service. They have OK service, but not enough when traveling. Today I have officially switched to ATT and am proud to be a one! They have great coverage, cheaper phones, you can even make a down payment of however much you like! They also payed off my Early Termination Fees on one of my lines and my remaining balances on 2 lines! There was no wait, and this was a Friday at 5 which looks like their busiest hour. They even had sports on, with nice headphones to tune into. I would highly recommend asking for Kayla W. Randy at US Cellular was beyond horrible, I stated that when in wanted the iPhone 6 Plus 64GB, I got shipped a confirmation letter saying I wanted a iPhone 6 16GB. I stated it many times that it had to be a plus in 64GB capacity! On a positive note, when I could get Stephanie, she was always nice, spoke understandable English (not techy words) and made sure we understood what we were trying to get or change.

Nice store but.... ever since they moved here every time i come in there is atleast a hour wait. My wife or I had to leave many times because of the wait. You think management would have learned by now to hire more people.

They just lie . the latest software update for the Samsung galaxy S7 4/23/17 made it into a phone on the verge of a meltdown ala galaxy note S7 that no longer worked as a phone just a hand warmer. no such thing as customer service from these guys.
Giovanni kept trying to sell me something at every touch point. I understand these guys work on commission but he was obnoxious. He kept trying to sell me an iPhone at different points in the conversation even though I explicitly said I do not want an iPhone. He told me the phone I picked wasnt for people like me. At the end, I found that I was signed up for a different data package than we discussed. He also was talking with his friends the whole time. Somebody mentioned the sales associates acting stoned in another review. Agreed. The uncommissioned lady I spoke with on the phone (no way in hell I was going back in there) was very friendly and fixed my concerns right away.
The wait for service was short but the service was disappointing.

After hearing all of the negative reviews I DREADED going to this store. My daughter got and Iphone 6 and wanted to switch back to Iphone 5. Tory helped us and made things go so smooth and quick. He was very friendly and genuinely cared about giving us GREAT customer service!! The only downfall to this store was on the way there we tried to call several times to let them know we were coming and we could not get anyone live on the phone. When we got there it was very crowded and the gal that checked us in asked if we had and appointment and I said how could we have an appointment when you never answer the phone? She said when they are so busy the dont have time to pick up phone. That is the only negative thing I experienced at this location!!
Talk about bad experience! I have been a U.S. Cellular customer for the past 6 years, but a trip to this office at 4722 E.Towne Blvd earned my worst experience of all. After dropping off my wife, I have to wait for more than an hour to get any service. The young sales ladies werent doing much by themselves, and at time chatting with one another while at least eight customers were waiting to be served. When called upon, sale lady named Miranda was as friendly as a cold fish. No thank you nor smile at any length of time during service. The most she has to offer was pointing to the booklet with eyes stared at 1000 miles away. Whats wrong with this place? Better sales or Customer service training are much needed.
I have been dealing with a Manager named Grant and some of his associates. I brought in a phone to be repaired over 3 months ago. During this time I had a blackberry phone that overheated and had multiple battery issues. After calling and trying to see where my phone is and why it isnt back yet I found out that this company had lost my phone and was un willing to do anything about it. I was hung up on multiple times. I would say this is the worst location to visit. I would also suggest that if you can pick any cell phone provider in the world you choose U.S. Cellular last. The customer service is piss poor, they obviously higher anybody off the street, AS WELL AS being un able to keep proper paper work. All in all I hate this cell phone company and I think the people that work at this store are poorly managed.

I have never had a good experience at this location. There is usually a wait of 30 minutes+, and when I do get to talk with someone, they often act high or stupid, failing to solve my problems or even give entirely truthful information.
I never had anything to complain about with US Cellular until yesterday. My phone literally broke overnight so i brought it in right away in the morning to the repair shop at this location to be fixed. They opened at 9 and i had a very important phone call coming in at 11am (which i informed the man of) Even though the customer service was acceptable I feel as though i was played I had my phone for no longer than 6 months which means i was still under the manufacturers (Motorola) warranty. Did i get a phone replacement for free? no. Was i offered a loaner phone since i was in desperate need a phone in less than 2 hrs? no. I was offered to go call in myself to make an insurance claim to repair my phone in which it would still cost $175. I dont think ive mentioned what was wrong with my phone. No water damage just the charge port. The man told me about a place down the road called Tech Heroes that could replace my charge port for $60 within 24 hrs or less. I got there and the man working had questioned if someone from US Cellular sent me right away. Even though i got out of the deal cheaper than US Cell offered, i still should have gotten my phone replaced on the spot for free. I missed my important phone call and had to run all over town trying to get my phone taken care of. Maybe the 2 guys are friends and have some sort of deal. I dont appreciate being talked down to because Im a woman and may not know what my phone contract all entitles. Your in customer service so why dont you do so.
I went there on Friday 4/24/2015 at 5:45 pm and was told I was #3 in line. I waited 45 mins and went to ask what the hold up was she informed me that i was still 3rd in line. I had explained I saw 3 other people get helped before me and she really didnt have an answer. I walked out & she didnt really seem to care one iota. Very pathetic customer service.

Rating = -1mm. Worst service ever!! Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes during that time watching 3 customer service people go on break while the room had at least 10-15 customers waiting!! When it was finally my turn they ended up locking up my phone into some kind of security programing nightmare they could not fix and had no desire to try. I left very pissed off....I searched the web found I needed a Recovery Code to get my phone to work again. I went back the next day to request help from Tech support to get this Recovery Code. Again help or even a desire to help was non-exist! They would not even call corporate Tech. They had me sit down at their desk and call Tech support myself. They are all lazy idiots at this location...DO NOT GO THERE
