Our new favorite place. Highly recommend the matcha smoothie and the black sugar milk tea. Bobas are fresh and staff is amazing.

Wow! The mocha coffee with bobas is phenomenal, weve never had anything like it. If you like frappes you should try this drink. I myself get the apple fruit tea with lychee jellies which is also delightful. The only thing that would make my drink better is if they had aloe cubes as a topping option. Both of our drinks were less than $10 together. Definitely will be repeat customers. The patio area outside is relaxing and ordering from the doorway during COVID times isnt a hassle at all with the attentive staff always seeming to be close at hand.

Real tea and real boba. I got Oolong milk tea with boba and it was so good! The Taiwan Red tea may be better hot than iced, to get the full flavor. Prices were also cheaper than other shops on State St.Will definitely come back again!

A friend recommended using Drip to order ahead.Cold milk tea in this nice weather... makes the winters worth it. Of course, hot tea in the fall and winter... is just as good.

Wow. Wow. Wow. Worth every single penny. Though it may take up to 10 minutes to get your drink, I have never experienced boba tea in this way in my life.I actually tasted the tea for once. It wasnt just milk, sugar, and slimy tapioca. The tapioca balls at Jade are phenomenal (just the right consistency). Staff is also super pleasant!Try the bao buns as well, they are fantastic! Steaming hot and the buns are so so soft.Nothing here Ive had has been anything short of excellent.I will be back, again and again.

Jade Mountain is by far the best bubble tea Ive ever had. I highly recommend the iced taro milk tea with bubbles, you wont regret it. The only reason Im not giving Jade Mountain 5 stars is because it always takes a long time to receive your order and I had a bit of a mishap the last time I was in. A friend and I had lunch there and ordered some potstickers and bao, but we never got it. We had to ask them what happened to it (they had given it to someone else who came after us), and we had to wait once again. They gave us free drink coupons, but it was a bit of a hassle to wait over an hour to get lunch....

Got an iced americano. The service was A+. There is sidewalk chalk outside for kids to use which is cute.

The BEST place to go for bubble tea in Madison! The bubbles are always fresh and high quality, and the tea is excellent. My typical order is a large iced green tea, half sweet, with mango flavor and bubbles, a chicken bao, and pork & lotus root pot stickers. YUM!

Ive had bubble tea in NYC, LA, London, and Tokyo and can honestly say the bubble tea here is absolute top notch. The boba is nearly always fresh and done perfectly. Madison is lucky to have this place.

One of my favorite places to get bubble tea and worth the hour long drive to Madison. I like the non dairy options. Their tapioca pearls have the correct QQ texture, the best Ive had in Wisconsin so far. My parents are from Taiwan and also agreed the pearls are close to what we had when we were in Taipei.

Madison does not seem like the place to have a bubble tea place this good. Holy moly. If you are looking for bubble tea, come here. Hands down the best Ive ever had. Its amazing!

Delicious boba custom to however you like it

I would not recommend the milk tea, as it is all powder, but the fruit-based teas are all very good, and the boba is very fresh. My personal favorites are the mango-black tea and the lychee-mountain tea. However, if you are not one for caffeine, the mountain tea is not for you! Ive had espresso with less kick than this tea from Jade Mountain Cafe. All in all, a very solid bubble tea location in Madison, WI. Would recommend

Jade Mountain was great! I had the Veggie Soup and a Milk Tea w/bubbles. The soup was so hearty and delicious, I almost wonder if the broth was vegan like they said it was!

They have great covid procedures in place and you can still get all the delicious things!

Favorite bubble tea shop in Madison! I try to stop by every time Im on the east side.The only downsides are that parking can be difficult at peak times, and the bathroom is very small. I will still give five stars because those things are not too important to me, but you should be aware of these factors.

They have great coffee. My only complaint is that the building is way too small in the winter. I chose this place for me and my bandmates to talk and there was no available seating so we had to wait for 30 minutes for a table

Been going here for about a year now. Its the only place Ill go for bubble tea. Beats out any other shop Ive been to and the employees hold traditional card swapping practices and respectfulness. Reminds me of how it is in tokyo. Their little bakery/sweets case has some great stuff, i definitely recommend the egg tarts.Update: still my go to place. After living in Tokyo I can still say this place actually holds up against bubble tea there and even beats out most places in Japan as well. Very reminiscent of the famous shop Coco-Toka.

It was my first time here and Ive got to say that Im very impressed!! The service was fast and the lady was incredibly helpful and nice but overall MY ICED MOCHA WITH 5 SHOTS OF ESPRESSO IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I will definitely be coming back!!

Finally made it here after hearing raves from my daughter for several years. I ordered the taro bubble tea and it was nutty and sweet and delicious. I also tried an order of their pork potstickers, which were also outstanding. Staff here are very friendly and helpful, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The only drawback is the lack of parking, but Ill definitely be back when the snow and ice have melted.

I went here for an extended Dungeon and Dragons session. While here, I got some noodles and Taiwan Red bubble tea. I really liked them! I also got the taro bao (buns) and they were just the best.This place can have limited seating if the laptop hoards are there, but the service is quick. You should be able to get in and out quickly.

Ive gone here so many times and it has never let me down. I even got my parents addicted to their tea. I recommend the Taiwan Red Tea with bubbles and (soy) milk. It is incredibly delicious and I guarantee youll fall in love with this small, homely cafe in just one sip.

One of my absolute favorite haunts. The staff has an easy, friendly way about them and the atmosphere is welcoming. The menu is delightful and reminiscent of a Taiwanese coffee house. Its such a great escape.

Wonderful small coffee shop. Serving a variety of Teas which makes it a rare find on this side of town. Prices are good, the atmosphere is calm and inviting. The owners are friendly and very helpful, to the point of suggesting a Red Tea Latte with Bubble (one of their specialties) when I was unsure as to what tea drink to have. Needless to say Im now hooked and will be back often for more of my new favorite drink!

Try the pickled vegetable bao and iced taro with a shot of espresso if you want to really enjoy coming here because wow! Delicious!

Great smoothies, wonderful potstickers, good coffee. The only suggestions would be to turn up the heat, clean the bathroom walk next to the sink, and serve the coffee first, then the food :)

A quaint hidden little gem. The potstickers were delicious as was the egg rolls. The strawberry iced tea was very good. Nice balance of sweet strawberry which allowed the tea to shine as well.

Very slow service but most likely because of how busy it was and how understaffed it seemed. I ordered a latte but knew I made a mistake (before I even tried the drink) because what I should have got was a “bubble” tea- it seemed like tea was what they specialized in, not coffee. After receiving my drink order, a hot, large, triple shot latte with almond milk, I was right when I thought I should have ordered an iced “bubble” (with tapioca/ fruit balls) tea because my latte was not very warm and watered down. So, in conclusion, go and get tea here and the food smelled/looked amazing and so maybe try some cuisine was well.

The two of us arrived at 11:21. It may have taken me up to 5 minutes to read their menu before ordering. At 11:58, our drinks arrived. Still havent received our food yet. Okay. Food arrived at 12:03. Delicious and worth the wait.

Cute cafe with delicious drinks and quick bites to eat. I tried this place out a week ago since it is close to my work and I have been hooked on their lychee tea smoothies with bubbles ever since! I have also tried the bao and dumplings, both of which are tasty. The interior is nice too. Cozy cafe feeling with plenty of outlets to hook up your devices and outside seating for when the weathers nice.

Coffee and atmosphere was outstanding. It took a while to get our drink at a not so busy time otherwise nothing but good things to say.

Best bubble teas in Madison. Although the downtown shops are OK, their bubble texture is often inconsistent. Also has great quality teas and will sweeten them (or un-sweeten) to your satisfaction.

I come here literally any chance I get. Id come here every day if I could, honestly. The atmosphere is amazing, very warm and inviting with group seating or a bar for people who are alone. There is also outdoor seating for those beautiful days! Their food and drink are superb. Fruit teas are super flavorful and refreshing, and they offer such a wide variety. Their coffee isnt bitter, its exotic and full of full, round coffee flavor. Personally, every time I come here I either get iced match tea with bubbles, or iced Taiwan coffee. Their food, while a little expensive in my experience, is very very good. The bao is fluffy and beautifully steamed, Ramen isnt salty and has a unique flavor, and dumplings are so amazing I could die for them. Come here if you like tea, coffee or simple food. You wont regret it!!

This place is very cute from the outside but after receiving my “mocha smoothie” with bubbles, I tasted pure powder and the bubbles tasted like pure sugar. Very unappetizing so I drove to the next bubble tea.

Sometimes takes a while to get your drink. And they tend to mess up on the receipt/reward. And sometimes mix up your drink for hot or cold. But still love this place!

Lovely and very authentic Taiwanese tea house. The bubbles in the bubble tea are soft and chewy the way their supposed to be.

Ive probably been there 20-30 times so far, almost exclusively ordering their taro milk tea with bubbles. The quality can vary from time to time but on average I like it much better than Kung Fu Tea or Sencha. And when they get it just right its up there with the best Ive ever had anywhere (and Ill usually get some every time I travel someplace). Would highly recommend for taro boba lovers

The bao here are so good! I stumbled upon this place looking for some good boba and was ecstatic to see that it offered so much more! I love how quiet it is during the day, so its a great place to work and relax.

This place is usually amazing, even though the service is quite slow, the boba and the food make it all worth it, but today I asked for a milk smoothie and so did my friend, and when he gave us a tea we asked for a milk smoothie he didn’t acknowledge it and said it WAS a milk smoothie when it really was not. He was also quite grumpy about it. Potstickers were amazing.
