I had a great experience in 2018. But not in 2021. I had the hardest time getting anyone to answer the phone or return my calls. The sales person I was finally assigned to was not super helpful. I was very disappointed that masks are simply a thing of the past in June 2021 for all employees here.My past experience was great. The sales person was amazing and worked hard to explain everything to me about my new car. Last time the financing lady was great! She’s awesome and explains everything very well and you walk alway knowing what you signed. I did not feel this way this time with a different financial guy. It was very sad to have such a poor experience. This person didn’t even tell me my new account number so I could pay my bill each month.I miss my old sales person.

Had a pretty bad experience with their service department. They promised me my car back by 3pm which i specifically asked for because i had to go somewhere. But i only got my car back around 6. I tried calling them multiple times but could not get a hold of my service person. They did a terrible job with alignment. The steering wheel was crooked after the alignment, they made it worst than before. They left a dirty shoe print on my passenger seat. Also they charge a lot more for the same service compared to eastside zimbrick. Never going there again.

I scheduled a test drive for a used car through email and was told that one of the employees, Nick, would have the car ready for me upon my arrival at the specified time. Sure enough, as I was pulling in at that time, I watched as another party was leaving with the car to test drive it. I walked into the dealership and was informed that they had accidentally double-booked test drives for that time. I sat and waited for the other party to return and make their decision. Of course, they came back and decided to buy the car, leaving me having completely wasted my time. The staff member apologized to me, but I would have much rather been told I could test drive it later and been informed before I drove all the way there that it had been sold. You are better off taking your business to somewhere that can manage a schedule.

Scheduled recall appointment 2 weeks in advance based on a flyer that was mailed from Hyundai. I arrived at the appointment and was informed that my car did not have any recalls. I asked why I didnt receive a call and the service guy (Bill Sage) told me that he thought about it but didnt. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Was trying to get in weeks before about a Hyundai at our shop. Had called multiple times to talk to a tech about a programming that was needed on a vehicle at our shop, and had left continuous messages with our phone number and email address for a certain tech/service provider at their location over a span of 3-4 weeks. When I was finally able to talk to someone about an appointment, we had to wait an additional 2 weeks to get it in. I fee like that could be improved better for future inquires. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when the time came to bring it in :) which is the reason for my 4/5 stars

Had a great experience with salesman John and purchased a vehicle. I didn’t completely understand the extended warranty but I decided to purchase it because they said I can cancel anytime. So after 7 days of purchasing my car, I decided to cancel the warranty. It has been a night mare every since. Almost 40 days later they still have not credited the extra $2500 that we spent on the warranty. Called the warranty company and they said they been canceled the warranty. They said it’s Zimbrick fault it still has not been credited to my loan. I called Zimbrick and spoke with Kevin in finance he’s all non chalant saying well the girl who handles this is out and maybe she will do it next week. I’m like maybe. So I called the bank and explained the situation and they said yeah be careful of these guys buying extra products because they make extra money and will intentionally drag the process. So my advice is to never purchase any extended warranty products from Zimbrick Hyundai. What they are doing is not okay and very shady.

I have purchased every vehicle Ive owned from Zimbrick- Volkswagen. Honda, Buick, BMW and Hyundai. Took my Tuscon in for service yesterday for an 830 appt. i decided not to go with repairs and called for 45 mins 510-600pm trying to coordinate payment and ok to pick up the vehicle. Someone picked up at 515 and hung up on me. No answer for next 45 minutes. The hours clearly say 6pm...not on Thursday I guess. Disappointing as my daughter needed her vehicle to get to school tomorrow.

Got an awesome 2018 Chevy Equinox on a very good deal. Couple thousand under market price and worked with my loan to get my payment where I needed it to be.Ask for Carlos -- couldnt have been a nicer, less-pushy sales rep and went above and beyond for my wife and I. Traded in a 2014 Santa Fe and got a much better offer than any of the dealerships up in Wausau.I actually came down on a rainy day after seeing the car I was interested in online that same morning. They had it in the indoor sales area and even had it dried off.Carlos (sales) and Kevin (finance) were great to work with. I dont think Ive ever had such a good buying experience. Zero pressure and no shady tactics like Ive seen in the past. 110% professional, I would recommend them to anyone.

Huge dealership with new and used vehicles for sale. Im gonna say the price range on the LOW end for a used car is around 10k but they do have some nice choices. Not just the ones in the name. I bought a Dodge. Its multiple dealerships within a car dealership campus that have a very professional staff who will take the time to show you what they have and what they can aquire for you. I intentionally look like a hippy and I was approached with respect and treated like any other guy in a suit and tie (some of those cars are $$$$ nice nice). Also have a license plate and registration office so you can avoid going to the DMV.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. The people working here were rude and smarmy. I called them earlier to make an appointment to get a light replaced on my car, and was told I didn’t need an appointment, but should just drive up any day before 5 pm. Showed up today around 4ish. The green arrow was on above the automatic door, so I pulled in. There was no signage anywhere, and tons of staff were around but all completely ignored me. I finally turned my car off and went in, and was ignored for another few minutes. Finally, the gentleman at the far right counter acknowledged me. I said I was trying to have my car serviced today, to which he literally laughed at me and said, “No, you’re not.” He stated that his techs were all gone for the day and shut me down when I tried to clarify if this was every day, or what, and waved me off when I said what they had told me on the phone before. By the way, Google says their service dept. is open until 6. They were so rude to me, I decided I wanted to bring my car somewhere else another time. Big thumbs down for the whole experience.

Chris found us the exact car we wanted and Alex was able to do all of our paperwork and financing over the phone and internet before we got to the dealership. Left oil drain plug loose and and oil dripped for a month! They said only eighth of a quart low, I dont think so with the oil spots in my parking stall, you would think they would of offered oil change being it was doing that from beginning of February to March! And of course they dont state what they did on the invoice, also if you have a new car under warranty they do everything to avoid fixing it... Buyers Beware!

Took my car in to get my window fixed and a recall done. Neither of the parts were available. Told that I would be called when they were in, was never called. Spent hours calling trying to get to the parts department to see if the parts came in, then they told me the parts came in and forwarded me to a person to schedule an appointment that did not pick up. I left a message, did not ever get back to me. Spent 2 mornings, about 4 hours, scheduling an appointment. Also, the online portal to schedule was not working. Took my car in and they said the parts were out of stock, blaming me for waiting too long on scheduling an appointment. Pre getting my parts I got the 135$ diagnostic and they said my breaks were fine, also while driving my car to the last appointment they were working fine. When I pick my car up they tell me they need to be replaced and when getting in my car they feel different than when I dropped off my car. Also they forgot to discount the 135$ off of the parts and service, me having to remind them that they promised me. The workers were friendly in person, but that was the only positive of this experience.

Weve consistently had very bad experiences. Sales, service...doesnt matter which. Never a straight or consistent answer. No one seems to communicate within the organization. Lots of reneging on promises and failure to meet expectations they established.Service Manager is particularly petty, adversarial, and avoidant of responsibility; clearly does not care about customer satisfaction. Contradicts his own staff, right in front of them even, and has no qualms about wasting a customers time, regardless of prior promises.Its really unbelievable how consistently frustrating and infuriating theyve been. Not one positive experience to speak of over four years.Definitely do not recommend.

Great service at Zimbricks especially since we were just passing through and needed an oil change. They knew we would not be a repeat customer but performed as if we were. Quick, accurate (correct oil) oil change. I forgot to mention to them that the antifreeze was a bit low but they topped it off as well as the washer fluid. I always wondered if the multipoint check was actually done - and at this place it is! Also, salesperson Mike was kind enough to spend time with us looking at a new model even though we said up front that we werent really in the market. He didnt mind at all. Thanks, all.

I brought my still new, under warrant, 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport in for a standard oil change and to have a check engine light checked. This is where the games began.Zimbrick Hyundai told me its a standard $160.00 dollar charge for them to use a scan tool to diagnose an engine check light. This is absurd considering I can buy a scan tool for $50-100 dollars; in addition, I can take my vehicle to Advance Auto Parts to have them use the same scan tool for free. I asked Service Advisor Gregg J. Buttle why this was pointing out the above. Gregg stated it was because it takes their mechanics so long to do and how much they make an hour. Well Gregg Advanced Auto Parts took 15 seconds to run the test and told me the engine code (PO455). I also called Hyundai on Perryville in Rockford, IL they said they wouldnt charge anything to run a scan tool, or fix the issue since my vehicle is still under warrant.I literally get paid at my job to detect and capture liars. I can tell you Greggs body language told me he knows he isnt playing an honest game, evident by his lack of eye contact, covering of his mouth, changes in voice tone, and turning of his body slightly away from me. Zimbrick I know you have to make a living too, but the way youre doing it is no different than fraud or theft.Seems to me Zimbrick Service Center is in the Sales/Price Gauging Game. I will never be purchasing a vehicle or servicing a vehicle at Zimbrick ever. If the next Hyundai service center plays games similar to this I will be trading my vehicle in for a Toyota or Honda. I would caution others who do business with Zimbrick to be on the look out for lies, cons, and gross up charging.

We came in to test drive a Palisade which we saw advertised online at a decent price (just over invoice). We spent over an hour there with a salesman giving us prices well above the manufacturers MSRP. When we mentioned the advertised price he talked to a manager and refused to honor it. Very dishonest. First of all, I love my Tucson.... Im well into the second year of a 3-year lease and havent had any issues whatsoever. Zimbrick provides great service - they make it easy to schedule appointments, are always on time and very helpful answering questions. Due to Covid, they werent able to offer coffee during my last oil change but that certainly wasnt their fault! Zimbrick service is the best....

I purchased my dream vehicle (albeit used) from this location. The staff were kind, courteous and professional. They were fair with their pricing and helped me get the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted. There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed that I noticed after I drove off the lot (very minor) and they got me into their shop right away and agreed to cover the cost of the repairs. My husband and I have purchased our last 3 vehicles at Zimbrick and will continue to do so. We had no intentions of buying a car here but we met Carlos and ended up loving a car he showed us. We test drove it and it was perfect. However, later when we got in the car to take it home, the screen on the dash had a line through it. Zimbrick had closed already but before we left the lot, I went back and knocked on the windows of the dealership. Instead of ignoring me since it was after hours, Carlos came out and took pictures of the screen and assured us he would take care of it. We drove off and the next day, he texted us to check in. Then, he set up an appointment for us to get the screen fixed at no cost to us. He had excellent customer service and was awesome to work with. I would highly recommend this dealership!

We have always enjoyed the service we have received at Zimbrick Service Department, but I was dismayed to see several service advisors not wearing a mask at the counter while helping folks (all of whom were wearing masks). At this time, with the current ongoing pandemic and known community spread, it should be mandatory for any public-facing service folks to wear a mask. They did have a sign posted about cleaning between guests, but I didnt see evidence of that. They did have a box of clean pens to use when signing your estimate, but again, if service advisors are not masking, then clean pens become not so clean. Do better, Zimbrick.

I took my car in to have new tires that I had purchased elsewhere put on. The price of having my tires mounted and balanced was much to my surprise a lot less than I was expecting I did need to have an alignment done and a few other basic maintenance things done. Other than the alignment I was able to do the other repairs myself. I had told them this they did not try to pressure me into paying for them to do it, I really liked that. My only complaint I was not provided a sheet that shows my alignment was performed and everything is as it should be.

Had a recall... that was taken care of perfectly. Could have sold me a new car that day but your salesman didnt think i could afford the showroom model Kona. WRONG SIR!!Big mistake! Ill buy elsewhere now. Never judge people by looks... i had plenty for money down and have an extremely high credit score that you never bothered running. I asked for numbers on the showroom Kona and you stupidly bring me numbers on a base model! Very very big mistake!

Bad service experience.My car was having AC problems, so I got it checked somewhere else, and they told me due to an intermittent wiring problem to take it to the dealer. I made an appointment and told them to check the AC system due to an intermittent wiring problem diagnosed by another mechanic. The wait was a week to two weeks for the next available appointment. At the appointment, I waited for 1-2 hours, and by the end they had a large list of things they recommended fixing in my car. Their diagnosis said I needed to replace my AC compressor to fix the AC. The diagnosis was $125. Long story short, it turns out the compressor was not the problem but wires chewed by rodents in the cooling system. They obviously jumped to conclusions and didnt do a great check on what I was specifically asking them to check (evidenced by their misdiagnosis for my specific problem plus tacking on a bunch of other recommendations). The whole ordeal led to me paying way too much money for unnecessary replacements. I called to complain and left a voicemail asking them to call me back to see if they could possibly refund any of the $125 that I paid for their bad diagnosis. They never called back.

New Vehicle Sales: I purchased my first brand new car here about 10 months ago. The salesman was nice and informative without being pushy, along with offering a better price than two other Hyundai dealerships I spoke with. To seal the deal, he even drove 2 hours round-trip to pick me up so I could purchase it.Service (Repairs): I have been here twice for oil changes and once for warranty repairs. The oil changes took a little time, but the waiting area is large and comfortable enough for this to not be an issue if youre not too busy (especially after you factor in that they dont overcharge to the extent most dealerships do). As for my warranty repair visit, they gave me a loaner car (even though Im only 20) for a day and some change, as they even called Hyundai because my issue was unique enough that they hadnt seen it before.All in all, every experience Ive had here has been great. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that I know because they know how to treat people right while offering great cars and services at better rates than even other Hyundai dealerships.

Nick Shay was our salesman, and though he is a young looking fellow, he treated us with respect and listened carefully to all of our needs. Mark and Kristin were also very helpful and kind. I wasnt even considering a Hyundai. I came in looking for a Ford, which had been sold. Tim, the salesman that I worked with, showed me a Sonata and pointed out that it had all the features I was looking for. My initial impression was, This guy is just trying to unload a bunch of Sonatas. But I did my research and discovered that Hyundai is giving Toyota and Honda a run for their money when it comes to reliability and value. Its a very safe car that gets excellent gas mileage and still has a ton of leg room....all the things I told Tim I was looking for in a vehicle. He listened to me (truly listened) and guided me to the perfect car. I thought I was being sold but was actually being cared for.And I should mention how wonderful Matt was during the paperwork portion of the transaction. I had two small kids with me and he treated us *all* with respect and kindness. This is my third car through Zimbrick and I can safely say that Im a customer for life.

Worse experiences ever.....first i had an extended warranty on my 2016 santa fe 2.0 (purchased from different dealer, zimbrick burned me from everything) and had my fan blower motor go out. in plain text my warranty showed fan blower motor was covered with a $50 deductible.....i paid 68 to diagnose it (i told them what was wrong i have driven hyundais for the last 14 years so i am familiar with the quirky things.) I was told i would get an $18 check refund in the mail, still waiting on that (replacement was in 2/20, covered by warranty company less $50 deductible) . Now 7/21/20 my wife took her elantra in for an oil change (i thought she made the appt. with the mechanic I have been seeing) They informed her she had 3 bulbs out. LR marker, RR marker, and third brake light. I ran thru the vehicle, and only the third brake light was out. Why are they trying to charge for 2 extra bulbs? (obviously bulbs are easy so I told her to say no). Also, every oil change, and when I was taking my LEASED vehicles there for service they suggest a brake service like clock work. I have spoken with 2 zimbrick hyundai techs and they said its just a sales pitch and EASY MONEY! Never go to zimbrick, I take my vehicles exclusively to Aesechbach Automotive (side note, voted best of madison). They dont tell you what is wrong, they will show you. Your not being told you have a light out only to figure out hey my light is fine. The customer service is hands down the best, no pressure, no wrong suggestions, and they will tell you what can wait, and let you know what you can do yourself.

Poor experience with the service department. I thought I was losing oil in my 2016 Sonata, they did a full oil consumption test, and I have documentation that I lost 3.9 quarts of the 5.1 capacity over 3,000 miles (76% of my oil was disappearing). They told me that this did not call for action even though I reported it under warranty. **Brought my car to Zimbrick East, they did the same test, and immediately installed a brand new engine no questions asked. In addition to not working on a car losing significant amounts of oil, my customer service experience at West was also poor. Staff were not friendly, wouldn’t give me any details about the whole oil consumption process unless I asked explicit questions, and overall gave off a vibe that I was wasting their time. In conclusion I am extremely impressed with East and highly recommend them for their customer service and follow through.

Ive been coming here for oil changes the past couple years now. Most of the time, the transactions are very straightforward and I dont have any problem with service. However, I recently received a quote upwards of $1000 for a long list of repairs. This terrified me, since at the time I write this review my car is just 4 years old. I took my car to Dutchs Auto for a second opinion and the only pressing issues they found would cost less than $400. I guess Zimbrick Hyundai thought a young woman who was a loyal customer should be easy prey. Ill take my business elsewhere for the foreseeable future.
